Garments and corresponding systems for preventing contamination of a clean environment are provided. The garment is formed, at least in part, of a filter medium such that air within the garment is permitted to pass from within the garment, through the filter medium, and into the surrounding environment while contaminants are retained by the filter medium. The garment may be substantially formed of the filter medium or may include one or more filter panels arranged around a substantially impermeable portion of the garment. The garment may further include a forced air inlet for coupling the garment to a forced air supply such as a powered respirator or an air handler. Forced air may then be supplied into the garment to further facilitate air circulation and filtration.

Compound air filters and methods thereof are provided for sequestering airborne contaminants including volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from air streamed through the air filters. An air filter can include a support frame having a shape and size suitable for seating the air filter within an air-filtering system. A compound filter medium can be retained within the support frame to remove the airborne contaminants and VOCs from air flowing through the air filter and the air-filtering system containing one or more of the air filters. A first media layer of the compound filter medium can be pleated with pleats and configured to exhibit a relatively high filtration efficiency and a low air pressure drop across the filter medium. A second media layer of the filter medium can be coupled to the first media layer and configured to maintain a uniform distribution of the pleats with the first media layer.

Disclosed herein, among other things, is an improved filter media construction that comprises multiple layers for improved odor control that can be used for vacuum cleaner air filtration cartridge applications. The filter media comprises anti-microbial ePTFE HEPA filter media to prevent mold growth. The filter media may also be used for air cleaner filtration, central air filtration for home and industrial buildings (HVAC), cleanrooms, and microelectronic devices. In an embodiment, the improved filter media construction comprises at least a PTFE layer, a bi-component layer, and a base layer. In an embodiment the PTFE layer comprises ePTFE. In an embodiment, the bi-component layer comprises non-woven polyethylene/polyethylene terephthalate (PE/PET). In yet another embodiment, the base layer comprises activated carbon. A filter element for filtration of an air stream includes: a folded filter medium forming a bellows, the filter medium being constructed at least in two layers and having a particle filter layer, an electrically conductive filter layer, and at least one edge band, the at least one edge band being connected to at least one outer side of the bellows. At least one further edge band is connected to an outer side of the bellows. The at least one further edge band is electrically conductive. The at least one further edge band forms a pocket open towards one side.

The poultry ammonia gas removal tube-screen-scrubber equipped in the poultry ammonia gas removal tube-screen-scrubber device is invented in the present invention using the tube-screen-fill pack patented by the present inventor for use in the water cooling tower. The air-speed-acceleration controller trapezoidal-duct is applied for connecting of the large air outlet cross section of the tube-screen-scrubber device and the small air inlet cross section of the ventilation fan.

A flue gas is cleaned by feeding same to a filtering separator. The filtering separator is accommodated in a housing, and the housing has a pre-filter side ahead of the filtering separator and a clean side following the filtering separator in the flue gas flow direction. A filter element has an adsorbent formed of dust-free spheroidal charcoal on the clean side of the housing. The flue gas flows through the adsorbent in the filter element. Harmful substances from the group including mercury and/or dioxin and/or furan and/or further heavy metals are thereby removed from the flue gas.

Disclosed is a mutual switching type compressed air purification apparatus, comprising a main intake pipe, a main exhaust pipe, two vent valve assemblies, two drying cylinders and a solenoid valve. The main intake pipe is connected to the two vent valve assemblies of which inlet holes are communicated with the corresponding drying cylinders respectively, and air outlets of the drying cylinders are respectively connected to the main exhaust pipe.
