AIR DRYER CARTRIDGE, AIR DRYER AND COMMERCIAL VEHICLE COMPRISING AN AIR DRYER CARTRIDGE
The invention relates to an air dryer cartridge (5) for a compressed air system of a commercial vehicle.
According to the invention, the air dryer cartridge (5) comprises a base element coupling region (6) by which the air dryer cartridge (5) can be coupled to a base element (4) of an air dryer (1). Furthermore, the base element coupling region (6) of the air dryer cartridge (5) comprises a control port (93) for a control signal for a release valve (40). Furthermore, a release valve coupling region (94) is provided at the air dryer cartridge (5), a release valve (40) being coupled or coupleable to the release valve coupling region (94).
According to the invention, the base element coupling region (6) and the release valve coupling region (94) are arranged on opposite sides of the air dryer cartridge (5). Preferably, the inventive air dryer cartridge (5) can be assembled from below to a base element (4). The control signal for controlling the release valve (40) can be passed by a control line of control conduit (44) through the interior of the air dryer cartridge (5), in particular through a desiccant (14).
BYPASS VALVE SYSTEM STATE INDICATION
A fluid system may comprise a fluid passage comprising a passage inlet and a passage outlet, through which fluid may flow by entering the passage inlet as an inlet flow and exiting the passage outlet as an outlet flow; a bypass valve comprising a bypass inlet and a bypass outlet, the bypass inlet being in fluid communication with the passage inlet, wherein the bypass valve further comprises a piston coupled to a spring; and a position sensor coupled to the bypass valve and configured to detect a position of the piston in the bypass valve. The spring may retain the piston in a rest position, and the spring and the piston may be configured to block the fluid from passing through the bypass outlet in response to the inlet flow exerting a pressure below a bypass pressure threshold.
FILTER ELEMENT AND FILTER SYSTEM HAVING RADIAL FLOW BYPASS CHANNELS IN THE END PLATE
A filter element is disclosed having an annular filter medium surrounding an open interior, and an end plate secured on an axial end face of the filter medium, the end plate having radially extending crossflow channels formed in the interior of the end plate with flow controlled by a bypass valve. A filter housing is also disclosed cooperating with the filter element to provide a fluid drainage arrangement.
AIR PURIFYING DEVICE FOR PURIFYING AIR AND METHOD FOR OPERATING AN AIR PURIFYING DEVICE
An air purifying device for purifying air, including a housing, on which an air inlet and an air outlet are formed, which are fluidically interconnected via a flow path extending in the housing. An air conveying device for conveying the air along the flow path and an air filter for filtering foreign particles out of the air are disposed in the flow path. The air filter has at least one filter body of a motor vehicle particle filter made of a ceramic material having a lipophilic surface.
Filter regulator
A filter regulator improved in efficiency of assembling and detaching a filter element and a valve spring at the time of maintenance is disclosed herein. A valve is disposed so as to face a valve seat provided to an opening end of a communication hole through which a primary port and a secondary port communicate with each other, and a valve spring applies a spring force to the valve in a direction of closing the communication hole. A plurality of retaining bars are provided to a port block, elastically-deformable front ends thereof are radially displaced between a closed steady state and an opened state, and with the valve spring disposed, engaging claws are provided to the front ends of the retaining bars, and engage with the other end of the valve spring disposed. A filter element is attached to the outside of the retaining bars.
Oil mist separator
An oil mist separator for a crankcase ventilation system of an internal combustion engine may include a nozzle device having a plurality of nozzles. The plurality of nozzles may each have a nozzle outlet. An impact wall may be disposed opposite to the plurality of nozzles and may be covered with a separation material. A distance may be configured between the plurality of nozzles and the separation material, which is reduced compared to a surrounding region. The plurality of nozzles may project towards the separation material and thereby reduce the distance of the nozzle outlet of the plurality of nozzles to the separation material compared to the surrounding region.
Ring Filter Element, in Particular for Oil Separation of a Crankcase, and Filter Device
A ring filter element has a filter medium body flowed through radially form an interior of the filter medium body to an exterior of the filter medium body. A bypass valve is provided that is adjustable between a blocking position, separating a raw side at the interior of the filter medium body from a clean side at the exterior of the filter medium body, and an open position, connecting the raw side of the filter medium body with the clean side of the filter medium body. The bypass valve is arranged in an axial direction of the filter medium body at least partially external to a first axial end face of the filter medium body and extends radially at most up to the clean side of the filter medium body. The ring filter element is employed in a filter device of a crankcase.
Filtering chamber and method for maintaining same
A filtering chamber for a gas turbine having a combustor, compressor and air inlet duct, and a corresponding maintenance method is described. The filtering chamber includes a first chamber in an inlet plenum; a second chamber in the inlet plenum; and an air bypass mechanism configured to reduce a pressure difference across a final filter that separates the first chamber from the second chamber.
NATURAL GAS SYSTEM FOR PROCESSING AND DELIVERY
A natural gas processing system is mounted on a mobile platform that is transported to a natural gas source, such as a well. The system supplies natural gas through multiple hose reels to operate multi-fuel engines for well field equipment such as pumps, compressors, and trucks. A coalescing filter removes contaminants from the natural gas. A generator powered by the natural gas supplies process electricity. A process control monitors and controls the natural gas processing system, including pressure, temperature, moisture, and flow sensors. A gas chromatograph will determine the chemical composition of the natural gas. A gas evacuation system removes gas from the hose reel assemblies in the event of an emergency. An emergency shutdown system will halt the process in the event of high liquid levels, a gas leak, fire, or gas composition out of specification.
