POCKET FILTER ELEMENT
20190070544 · 2019-03-07 ·

A filter element includes: a frame having a peripheral elastomer body in which a reinforcement element is embedded; and a filter pocket. The frame is connected to an opening in the filter pocket with a connection established integrally by the elastomer body. In an embodiment, the elastomer body is molded on the filter pocket.

Heat sealed recyclable filter

A rigid support is disposed in a filtration media element. A first gas-permeable filtration media layer is disposed in an overlapping orientation with a second gas-permeable filtration media layer. The first and second layers define a void in which the support is disposed. The first layer is attached to the second layer near opposing edges of the first and second layers and at an attachment termination point substantially centrally located on the filtration media element. The filtration media element has a first media end and an opposite, second media end. The support has a first support portion that extends from the first media end toward the attachment termination point. The support has second and third support portions that extend from the first support portion toward the second media end with a gap between the second and third support portions in which the attachment termination point is disposed.

Filter chambers and self-cleaning apparatus for vacuum systems

Industrial vacuum systems are disclosed, as are filter chambers for industrial vacuum systems and other filtration applications. The filter chambers in these systems use two distinct types of filtering elements within a single chamber, arranging the filter elements such that air cannot pass through a secondary filter element until the air has first passed through and been filtered by a number of primary filter elements. The airflow within the filter chamber may be essentially vertical, and the secondary filter element may be positioned above the primary filter elements. The filter chamber may also include an agitation system for cleaning the filtering elements. The agitation system may be constructed such that it can operate while the system is in use.

PROCESS AND FILTER DEVICE FOR CLEANING FURNACE GAS
20180304185 · 2018-10-25 ·

Process and device for cleaning furnace gas includes flowing in a main flow direction (A) the furnace gas passes an array of bag filters. Filtered furnace gas having passed the filter bags, is partly returned via one or more nozzles which are moved along downstream ends of the bag filters. Each bag filter is passed at least once by at least one nozzle during a cycle. A nozzle passing a bag filter blows filtered furnace gas in a backflow direction (B) through said bag filter. The backflow direction is opposite to the main flow direction.

Filter element

A filter element for filtering impurities from air, whereby the filter element comprises one or more filters, whereby each filter is composed of a filter frame that is connected to a filter bag, characterized in that the filter frame and the inflow opening of the inlet piece have an aerodynamic design and that the filter bag is essentially cylindrical of which the one end is open and fastened to the inflow opening and the other end is closed.

Dust collector having vertical filters and a filter carriage

A dust collector including a housing including an upper wall, at least one housing wall defining an inlet, and one of the upper wall and the at least one housing wall defining an outlet; a separating plate connected above the inlet and below the outlet, and defining at least one aperture; at least one vertically extending filter connected to and extending below the plate, and fluidly communicating with the at least one aperture; at least one pipe connecting the at least one vertically extending filter to the plate and extending below the plate; at least one expandable sleeve surrounding the pipe, the pipe defining at least one side aperture fluidly communicating an interior of the pipe with a space between the pipe and the sleeve; and an air injector system fluidly communicating with the aperture for injecting air into the space through the aperture to expand the sleeve.

VALVE

The valve comprises a housing defining a cavity having a side wall, a ceiling and an open end, a plunge slidable within the cavity, a control device for causing the plunge movement. The cavity has at least one slot on the side wall.

FILTER FRAME HEADER LOCKING DEVICE
20180221802 · 2018-08-09 ·

A header containing a multi-toothed tab forming a series of ratchets formed therein cooperatively engages a lanced section extending across the web of the cross section and depressed toward the inside of the cross section a selected depth that is greater than the tab thickness. One edge of the lanced and formed surface is formed with an upturned lip that functions as a pawl for the ratchets on the tab. Insertion of the tab into the lanced section of the receiver, each ratchet will be forced over the paw of the lanced section. The lanced section acts as a spring to allow the ratchet to pass over the paw and then pop back to its previous location ready to be flexed again for the next ratchet.

The header includes a longitudinal channel having a base channel and upwardly extending channel sidewalls and a pair of spaced apart aligned longitudinal reinforcement ribs extending along said longitudinal channel base. The channel sidewalls including a pair of inwardly projecting longitudinal shoulders spaced apart from and aligned with the reinforcement ribs. The longitudinal channel member include a first male end including a tab with two lateral half tangs for cooperatively engaging an opposing channel receiver including two lateral lanced portions forming inwardly raised transverse flanges on either side of said channel base, each with an upwardly projecting lip for cooperative engagement with the two tangs disposed on the tab surface of the opposing distal end of the longitudinal channel member. The channel receiver has two inwardly extending dimples which cooperatively engage an inwardly canted end portion of the tab to maintain engagement of the tangs with said upwardly projecting lips.

Filtration systems

A gas filtration system including an orificed barrier having a plurality of orifices through which gas can be forced, each orifice being sealed by a filter bag via which said air can pass and be filtered, each filter bag having a mouth opening biased to an open condition to force a mouth opening seal of the filter bag against a seat of the orifice by an underlying resiliently deflectable band that is deformable inwardly to facilitate the seating with yet allow removal of the filter bag from the barrier, each filter bag defining a passage but with an enclosed end region such that at least some solid matter can be filtered from the passing air and is contained inside the bag.
