The invention relates to an air purification apparatus. The apparatus is disposed in a window for separating an indoor space and an outdoor space. The apparatus comprising: an inlet chamber having a first inlet, a second inlet and an outlet, wherein the first inlet is operatively open to the outdoor space and the second inlet is operatively open to the indoor space; an air pumping unit for pumping air from the inlet chamber to the indoor space through the outlet, wherein the air is pumped into the inlet chamber through the first inlet or through the second inlet; and a filtering unit disposed upstream of the air pumping unit, for filtering pollutants in the air.

The hollow case defines an expanded space; the filter element defines an upstream-side expanded space and a downstream-side expanded space in the expanded space; the case includes an intake port configured to bring an upstream-side duct into communication with the upstream-side expanded space; the opening end member is formed from a material having an air permeability in a range of 0.3 to 100 sec/300 cc, and is integrated on an inner side of the intake port so as to project into the upstream-side expanded space and so as to extend a duct wall of the intake port; and D representing a diameter of the opening end member and L representing a length thereof satisfy 0.25D≦L≦2.0D.

A humidification and air cleaning apparatus is provided, in which a wave having a predetermined cycle is formed on a plurality of blades of a blower fan, such that operating noise caused by a flow of discharged air may be minimized, and a wave is formed at a trailing edge, such that a phase difference may be formed for air to be separated, and air flow noise of the discharged air may be reduced.

The invention relates to a filter arrangement for cleaning an air stream having at least three filter elements, wherein each filter element has a bellows made of pleated filter medium, wherein the filter elements are arranged in series and any two adjacent filter elements are connected to one another by means of a connecting tab. According to the invention, a fold run-out of all end folds of all bellows is oriented in a particular direction, the connecting tabs are of two different embodiments and the different embodiments of the connecting tabs are arranged alternatingly when viewed in a longitudinal direction of the filter arrangement. Not only is a simple installation of the filter elements in a filter holder thus facilitated but also a defined seating of the filter elements in the filter holder is ensured.

A liquid separator (10) has a horizontal main pipe (100) and a collecting basin (200) arranged sealingly on the underside of the main pipe (100). A partition wall (310) extends transverse to the main pipe (100) and divides the collecting basin (200) into first and second basin chambers (210, 220). The first basin chamber (210) is connected to the interior of the main pipe (100) via passage openings (320), and the second basin chamber (220) has an outlet opening (230). The partition wall (310) extends sealingly on the underside of the main pipe across the width of the collecting basin (200) and has a connecting opening interconnecting the first and second basin chambers (210, 220) in a fluid-conducting manner. The second basin chamber (220) has no direct connection to the interior of the main pipe (100) and the outlet opening is higher than an upper edge of the connection opening.
