Drainage device comprising an active filter
A filtering device for removing particles from a fluid of a patient is provided. The filtering device being implantable in the patient's body and comprising a cassette comprising a revolving member, said revolving member having at least two segments each holding a respective filter. The device further comprises a tube forming a fluid passageway through one of the filters in said cassette, wherein the cassette is adapted to, upon revolution of the revolving cylinder, change the filter positioned in the fluid passageway from a first one of said filters to a second one of said filters, thereby allowing particles present on the first filter to be moved away from the fluid passageway, while at the same time changing the filter positioned in the fluid passageway.
BLOOD CLOT REMOVAL DEVICE, SYSTEM, AND METHOD
A blood clot removal method for removing blood clots from the vascular system of a patient, the blood clot removal method carried out on an implantable device in the patient's body and comprising: allowing a blood flow through a passageway between a first side wall and a second side wall, filtering blood clots with a filter provided in the blood flow passageway, and cleaning the filter with a cleaning device, wherein the cleaning device is moved from the first side wall towards the second side wall to move blood clots away from the blood flow passageway.
IMPLANTABLE DRAINAGE DEVICE
An implantable drainage device is provided. The device is adapted to move body fluid from one part of the body of a patient to another part of the body.
Blood clot removal device, system, and method
A blood clot removal device for removing blood clots from the vascular system of a patient is implantable in the patient's body. The blood clot removal device comprises a blood flow passageway to be connected to the patient's vascular system to allow circulation of the patient's blood through the blood flow passageway, a filter provided in the blood flow passageway for collecting blood clots occurring in the blood flowing through the blood flow passageway, and a cleaning device for moving blood clots collected by the filter out of the blood flow passageway. By means of such blood clot removal device, the risk of blood clots reaching sensitive areas of the patient's body, such as the brain, is reduced.
DRAINAGE DEVICE COMPRISING A FILTER CLEANING DEVICE
The present invention relates to a filtering device for removing particles from a bodily fluid of a patient, the filtering device being implantable in the patient's body. The device has a tube forming a main fluid passageway for bodily fluid, through which the bodily fluid of the patient passes when the tube is implanted in the patient, a filter connected to the tube and a filter cleaning device for cleaning the filter by moving particles collected by the filter out of the fluid passageway, wherein the filter cleaning device is adapted to replace the first filter in the fluid passageway with a second filter, thereby moving the particles collected by the first filter out of the fluid passageway.
Apparatus for additively manufacturing three-dimensional objects
Apparatus (1) for additively manufacturing of three-dimensional objects by means of successive layerwise selective irradiation and consolidation of layers of a build material which can be consolidated by means of an energy beam, with a stream generating unit (2) configured to generate a stream of a process gas (3) being capable of being charged with particles (4), in particular non-consolidated particulate build material and/or smoke and/or smoke residues, generated during operation of the apparatus (1) and a filter unit (5) configured to separate particles (4) from the stream of process gas (3), wherein the filter unit (5) comprises a filter chamber (6) with at least one filter element (7) at least partly arranged in the streaming path of the generated stream of process gas (3), wherein particles (4) in the stream of process gas (3) are separated from the process gas (3) by the filter element (7).
Blood clot removal device, system, and method
The present invention relates to a method of implanting a blood clot removal device in a patient's body, by cutting the skin of the patient's body, dissecting an area of the patient's vascular system, placing the blot clot removal device at the dissected area, and connecting a blood flow passageway of the blood clot removal device to the patient's vascular system to allow circulation of the patient's blood through the blood flow passageway.
Drainage device comprising a filter cleaning device
A filtering device for removing particles from a bodily fluid of a patient is disclosed. The device is implantable in the patient's body and comprises a tube forming a main fluid passageway for bodily fluid, through which the bodily fluid passes when the tube is implanted, wherein the tube is sized and adapted to be fluidly connected to the bodily fluid. The device further comprises a filter connected to the tube, and a filter cleaning device for cleaning the filter.
IMPLANTABLE FLUID MOVEMENT DEVICE
A method of securing a connecting tube for use in an implantable device for implantation in human or mammal patient, wherein the tube is adapted to move patient fluid or hydraulic treatment fluid from one part of the patient, via the at least one connecting tube to another part of the patient, the connecting tube having a distal end adapted to be located in an organ of the human or mammal patient for drainage of a patient fluid or in a reservoir for movement av hydraulic treatment fluid, from a treatment area of the human or mammal patient into the organ.
