Barrier Band
The Barrier Band for an area on a human body, involving a vascular device access area. The present invention relates to an apparatus that provides a barrier between a person's skin, and any vascular access device, and its components, to prevent compromising skin and to provide comfort to a person. The actual barrier is provided in several variations. The Barrier Band is offered in both a washable and disposable version, and its size, style and stitching, if any, are offered in a variety ways, which is determined by a person's weight and what body part is being covered. It may or may not have an adjustable apparatus or any other suitable component to tighten or loosen the band.

Advanced Compression Garments and Systems
Advanced compression garments and their methods of use, including garments with compression applying straps, and associated sensors that are able to sense the compression applied to an underlying body tissue by the straps. Pressure and/or temperature information from the sensors may be conveyed to a wearer of the garment and/or to another party.
Elbow compression wrap and corresponding methods
A compression wrap (100) includes an elongated wrap body (101) extending from a first end (102) to a distal end (103). A fastening tab (116) is coupled to a first major face (205) of the elongated wrap body at the first end. A fastening loop (118) is coupled to the first major face of the elongated wrap body at the distal end. A compression pad (106) is disposed along a second major face (105) of the elongated wrap body between the first end and the distal end. A stretchable layer (108) straddles the compression pad such that the stretchable layer and a portion (208) of the elongated wrap body comprising the compression pad define a stretchable sleeve (303).
Seamless compression article
A seamless compression article is knitted on a flatbed knitting machine having a front needle bed and a rear needle bed opposite thereto. The compression article includes a base structure of at least one weft thread, at least one elastic warp thread inserted or knitted therein, and at least one tubular or pocket-like receptacle extending along a longitudinal direction for at least one finger or at least one toe of a wearer of the compression article and can be placed on a body extremity of the wearer extending in the longitudinal direction. The receptacle includes a number of rib-like elevations, which run substantially parallel to each other and along the longitudinal direction of the corresponding receptacle. Putting on the compression article can thereby be facilitated.
Smart Custom Orthotic
A portable customizable smart helmet, cap or splint for wound care, trauma and critical care.
Garment for a hand
A compression garment for a hand. The garment includes a body portion dimensioned to wrap at least partially around a hand of a user and includes a trimmable portion. An aperture of the body portion is disposed opposite the trimmable portion wherein the aperture is configured for receiving a thumb of the user. A plurality of bands are extended from an edge of the body portion in communication with the trimmable portion. Each band can be trimmable to a plurality of sizes (e.g. length, width, or the like) and can include a proximal end connected to the body portion and a distal free end having a fastener.

Covering Article
In order to reduce a cost with a simple configuration, a covering article includes a liquid diffusive sheet having a property of diffusing absorbed liquid, a moisture-permeable film laminated on the liquid diffusive sheet, and a plurality of elastic members joined to at least one of the liquid diffusive sheet or the moisture-permeable film and arranged substantially in parallel. A pair of opposing side edges are joined such that the plurality of elastic members are substantially annular. The liquid diffusive sheet is positioned closer to a skin of a user than the moisture-permeable film when the user wears the covering article, and the substantially annular elastic members press a wearing site of the user.
