Potting or Bonding Composition for Filtration Membrane Modules
The present invention provides a membrane filtration module comprising a housing in which the filtration membrane is disposed in a fixed positional relationship by a potting or bonding material obtained by the curing of a two component (2K) composition consisting of: a first component (A) comprising at least one compound (a) having at least two acetoacetate functional groups; and, a second component (B) comprising at least one compound (b) having at least one amino group, each said amino group being a primary or secondary amino group.
WATER PURIFICATION APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR CLEANING THE WATER PURIFICATION APPARATUS
Disclosed herein is a water purification apparatus capable of being cleaned at a point of care, and methods for cleaning the water purification apparatus at the point of care. The water purification apparatus and the methods provide an efficient use of a heater for heat disinfection the water purification apparatus, e.g. by recirculating heated fluid to further heat the fluid. Several different cleaning programs are provided that may be utilized for cleaning different parts of the water purification apparatus.
Method For Processing A Protein-Containing Suspension Or Protein-Containing Solution
The invention relates to a method for the processing of protein-containing suspensions or solutions, for example for concentrating or purifying the protein-containing particles or dissolved protein-containing substance contained in the suspensions or solutions, wherein the protein-containing suspensions or solutions are filtered by means of a filter module and the protein-containing particles or dissolved protein-containing substance retained in the filter module are conveyed out of the filter module by means of a backwashing fluid.
Sanitary Membrane Cartridge for Reverse Osmosis Filtration
A sanitary membrane cartridge for use in reverse osmosis filtering includes an outer housing, a central core tube, and a membrane leaf wound around the central core tube to form a cylindrical filter. The cartridge further includes a sealant layer disposed around the cylindrical filter to form a sealed filter, the sealed filter disposed within the housing. The sealant layer preferably has a surface roughness value, Ra, ranging from about 0.38 m to about 0.82 m. The cartridge further includes a brine seal, disposed between the sealant layer and the housing, having one or more notches formed on an outer diameter of the brine seal such that the feed flow through the notches allows bypass flow, between the sealant layer and the housing, of 1% to 25% of a total feed flow through the sealed filter.
FILTER MEMBRANE AND DEVICE
The present disclosure relates to a microporous hollow fiber filter membrane having a large inner diameter and a thin wall. The fiber can be used for sterile filtration of liquids or removal of particles from liquids. The disclosure further relates to a method for producing the membrane and a filter device comprising the membrane.
Cleaning of water filtration membranes
Methods for cleaning water filtration membranes by treatment with a DNase containing cleaning composition. Optionally the composition also comprises a biocidal and/or other enzymes such as proteases. The DNAse may be derived from Aspergillus oryzae or from Bacillus licheniformis.
SINGLE USE ASEPTIC TANGENTIAL FLOW FILTRATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Cassettes for tangential flow filtration (TFF) are disclosed which reduce assembly and disassembly required for aseptic filtration. Packaging systems and methods for the TFF cassettes are also disclosed.
Aseptic filter vent valve and port for integrity testing
The present disclosure relates to a filter capsule that supports direct integrity testing of an internal filter element. The filter capsule includes a filter housing having an inlet port, an outlet port, a passage running longitudinally between the inlet port and outlet port and holding a filter element, and an aseptic vent assembly. The filter housing also includes an integrity test assembly that can be used as a direct connection for integrity testing hardware, as opposed to upstream of the filter capsule. In one embodiment, the integrity test assembly comprises a body having a bore formed through its interior and a movable plunger within the bore. The plunger includes a handle to move the plunger between a closed position and an open position. Various seals between the plunger and the bore form a fluid tight seal between various portions of the plunger and the bore.
A WATER PURIFICATION APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR CLEANING THE WATER PURIFICATION APPARATUS
A water purification apparatus (300) capable of being cleaned at a point of care, and methods for cleaning the water purification apparatus (300) at the point of care. The water purification apparatus (300) and the methods provide an efficient use of a heater (302) for heat disinfection the water purification apparatus (300), e.g. by recirculating heated fluid to further heat the fluid. Several different cleaning programs are provided that may be utilized for cleaning different parts of the water purification apparatus (300).
WATER PURIFICATION APPARATUS AND A METHOD FOR CONTROLLING AT LEAST ONE FLUID PROPERTY IN A WATER PURIFICATION APPARATUS
The present disclosure relates to a water purification apparatus that comprises a reverse osmosis device, RO-device, producing a purified water flow and to a corresponding method. The proposed method comprises detecting at least one fluid property of purified water in the purified water path and regulating a flow rate of water in the recirculation path to fulfill one or more predetermined criteria of the purified water in the purified water path, based on the at least one detected fluid property. The present disclosure also relates to a computer program and a computer program product implementing the method.
