FILTERING DEVICE FOR LIQUIDS, IN PARTICULAR FOR FUELS
The present invention relates to a filtering device for liquids and in particular for filtering fuels for aeronautical use (avio).
FILTER ELEMENT
A filter element, at least consisting of a filter mat web (10), the free, mutually adjacent web ends (12) of which are joined along a joint (16), forming a hollow body, is characterized in that the joint (16) is made of at least one connecting part (18), which is provided with groove-shaped receiving channels (20, 22), each of which is used to receive one web end (12) of the filter mat (10).
WATER SEDIMENT FILTER ASSEMBLY
A water sediment filter assembly includes a screen member and a drain port which permits the removal of collected debris. The water sediment filter assembly includes a valve member which can be moved to different positions to permit the draining of collected sediment through the drain port.
Oil filter
The present invention relates to a filter element comprising an oil filter port adapted to be in fluid communication with an oil port of an engine the oil filter port includes threads for attaching the filter element in the oil port of the engine. Thus, the inventors realized that by providing the oil port with threads, the oil port of the filter element may be tightened in the oil port of the engine to in this way ensure axial locking of the filter element in the engine. The present invention also relation to a corresponding filter housing.
METHOD AND APPARATUSES FOR SCREENING
A leaching tank that can be used in an interstage screening process includes a draft tube with an impeller that extracts slurry or liquid from an interior of a screen basket mounted in the leaching tank. The impeller is driven by a motor, and the speed at which the motor rotates can be selectively varied to vary a flow rate of fluid or slurry being removed from the leaching tank. A position of the input end of the draft tube can be selectively varied within the leaching tank to vary a position within the leaching tank from which fluid or slurry is withdrawn from the leaching tank.
FILTER PULSATION DAMPENING DEVICE
A filter pulsation dampening device has a replaceable filter element including a plurality of baffles disposed next to each other or a flexible valve that is disposed proximate a baffle.
Oil Filter for a Motor Vehicle and Filter Cartridge for an Oil Filter
An oil filter for a motor vehicle includes a filter cartridge disposed in an oil filter housing. A piston of the filter cartridge is displaceable in the oil filter housing in an axial direction of the filter cartridge. The filter cartridge has a closure element where the closure element is held at an end of at least one strut of the filter cartridge and where a free end of the at least one strut is supported in the oil filter housing. The piston is displaceable relative to the at least one strut in the axial direction of the filter cartridge.
Filter system
A system for filtering water in a spa that provides safety and greater filtration. The system may include a filter secured to a core. The core may include first and second cages with a plurality of openings allowing water to freely pass through the filter and core while preventing larger objects from passing through. The first cage may provide an orientation feature to position the filter in one direction. The second cage may hold mineral cartridges. The core may be secured to a fitting that is secured to the suction line of a spa via a ratchet like engagement feature. The fitting and core prevent back out of the core unless manually overriding the arm on the core which engages fins on the fitting. The filter may be removed and replaced while the core remains in place providing safety to the user. A cap secures the whole assembly into place.
ENHANCED SHAPE SUPPORT GRID
A support grid assembly for use in a vessel. The support grid assembly includes panels each including a first wall including a media-supporting screen and a second wall to be supported by the vessel wall inner surface. A manifold is coupled to the panels and is in hydraulic communication with vessel outlet. The manifold and the panels permit fluid to flow through the screen in each panel, through the panels, into the manifold, and through the manifold to the outlet of the vessel, as well as in the reverse direction. At least a portion of the first wall may slope downward toward the manifold, and at least a portion of the second wall may form a bottom surface that is curved to substantially conform to a curvature of the vessel wall inner surface. The panels may be arranged in a circular configuration extending radially from the manifold.
Conical filter element with funnel directing particles to a trap
The invention relates to a filter element (1, 31) for use as a particulate filter in a cooling circuit (100), in particular of an electrochemical energy converter, having a conical grid support structure (3, 33). The filter element features at a first axial end a supply opening (23, 49) for supplying a cooling medium to be filtered into the filter element (1, 31) and the grid support structure (3, 33) carries a filter medium (4, 34). The filter element (1, 31) has axially opposite the supply opening (23, 49) a funnel (16, 40) for axially discharging and collecting particulate impurities, and is closed at second axial end. The conical grid support (3, 33) structure tapers from the first axial end to the second axial end. An arrangement of a fuel cell (102) having a a cooling circuit (100) with the filter element is disclosed.
