Method for fabricating a filter containing tragacanthin nanofibers

A fabrication method for a water-absorbent filter includes obtaining a homogenized tragacanth suspension by dissolving tragacanth in a solvent, where the solvent may include distilled water, ethyl acetate, acetic acid, and formic acid, obtaining a support layer by coating a stainless steel mesh with a thin layer of a hydrophobic polymer, coating a stainless steel mesh with the thin layer of the hydrophobic polymer comprising electrospinning a hydrophobic polymer solution onto the stainless steel mesh, forming a tragacanth nanofibrous web on the support layer by electrospinning the homogenized tragacanth suspension onto the support layer, and cross-linking the tragacanth nanofibrous web by exposing the tragacanth nanofibrous web to a saturated vapor of a cross-linking agent.

FUEL FILTER PASSAGE FOR DOWNWARD FUEL FLOW DIRECTION

A center tube and a central fluid supply tube combination includes a center tube body defining a longitudinal length, and a central reservoir. The center tube also includes an apertured annular wall extending axially the majority of the longitudinal length, and a first annular solid wall extending axially from the apertured annular wall. A central fluid supply tube is disposed in the central reservoir, and includes a second annular solid wall that is radially surrounded by the apertured annular wall of the center tube. The second annular solid wall defines a supply passage with a fully circular flow flux.

A SCREEN PANEL MOUNTING ARRANGMENT
20230364535 · 2023-11-16 ·

Mounting system for mounting a screen panel in a continuous belt screen assembly. The mounting system includes a first and second set of links, the second set of links being configured to be interposed between, and aligned with, the first set of links. Each respective link defines a respective recessed portion. The continuous belt screen assembly has a pair of spaced, opposed endless belts and a plurality of screen panels arranged between the belts. The sets of links are mountable in spaced, parallel relationship between the belts. The second recessed portions face in a direction opposite to that of the first recessed portions, in use, so that the recessed portions define a channel in which the screen panel is receivable.

POOL SKIMMING APPARATUS

A pool skimming apparatus includes a net and a pair of elongated poles located either side of the net. The net includes an elongated length that is sized substantially equal to (in some examples) a width of the pool. As such, two users stand either side of the width of the pool, place the net in the pool and walk together from one side of the length of the pool to the other, thereby skimming debris from the pool quickly and easily.

FILTER BAG AND FILTER MODULE FOR A ROTARY DISK FILTER AND ROTARY DISK FILTER
20230356120 · 2023-11-09 ·

A filter bag for a rotary disk filter, which is used to filter wastewater, has a filter material with a mounting opening, via which the filter bag can be slipped over a support frame of the rotary disk filter during a mounting step in order to form a filter module. The filter material has an exit opening that is situated opposite the mounting opening and allows filtrate to exit the interior of the filter module into a central pipe of the rotary disk filter. A reinforcement is connected to the filter material at an edge delimiting the mounting opening and fixes the filter bag at the support frame. A filter module and a rotary disk filter are disclosed.

Dishwashing appliance with shrouded filtration assembly
11805960 · 2023-11-07 · ·

A dishwashing appliance with a shrouded filtration assembly for removing dishwashing sediment from recirculated dishwashing fluid is provided. The dishwashing appliance may include a tub, a spray system, a recirculation pump, a drainage pump, and a shrouded filtration assembly in fluid communication with the spray system, the recirculation pump, and the drainage pump. The shrouded filtration assembly may include a lid, a filter frame, and a sump housing.

Fuel Filter Element and Filter Assembly

A fuel filter element has a screen fabric as a filter medium and a support tube supporting the screen fabric. A valve body guide for guiding a spherical valve body is provided. The valve body guide has a fluid channel and one or more support ribs for supporting the spherical valve body. The support ribs extend along a longitudinal direction of the fluid channel and project radially into the fluid channel. A filter assembly with such a fuel filter element is provided. The filter assembly has a ball valve with spherical valve body and a filter housing with a valve seat for the spherical valve body of the ball valve.

Filtration device

A first plate of a filter element includes a first tubular portion having a substantially cylindrical shape that protrudes toward a lid member with the filter element inserted into a filter case. The first tubular portion includes first projections protruding outward in a radial direction. The lid member includes a second tubular portion inserted into a hollow portion of the first tubular portion. With the lid member attached to the first plate, the first projections are inserted into notches formed in ribs provided along an outer circumferential surface of the first tubular portion.

Filter interlock with tabs mating with a pedestal or a housing

A pedestal for use with a canister filter system and a filter element for positioning and retaining the filter element in the canister filter system includes an at least partially annular body defining a longitudinal axis, a radial direction, and a circumferential direction. Also, the pedestal includes an annular wall that terminates at a bottom free end, and that defines a slot that extends axially upwardly and circumferentially from the bottom free end. A flow aperture extends through the annular wall that is disposed axially above the slot.

Enhanced shape support grid

A support grid assembly for use in a vessel. The support grid assembly includes panels each including a first wall including a media-supporting screen and a second wall to be supported by the vessel wall inner surface. A manifold is coupled to the panels and is in hydraulic communication with vessel outlet. The manifold and the panels permit fluid to flow through the screen in each panel, through the panels, into the manifold, and through the manifold to the outlet of the vessel, as well as in the reverse direction. At least a portion of the first wall may slope downward toward the manifold, and at least a portion of the second wall may form a bottom surface that is curved to substantially conform to a curvature of the vessel wall inner surface. The panels may be arranged in a circular configuration extending radially from the manifold.
