Rotary disc filter
A disc filter includes a filtrate holding tank disposed below a series of disc-shaped filter members supported on a drum. Filtrate from the holding tank is used to backwash filter media on the disc-shaped filter members. Filtrate is discharged from the holding tank via a filtrate conduit. Bypass water is directed through a bypass conduit in the disc filter and mixed with the filtrate downstream of the filtrate holding tank. This assures that the filtrate used to backwash the filter media does not include bypass water.

The water filter also includes a housing cap coupled to an upper end of the filter housing for enclosing the filtration material within the water filter. The housing cap includes an upper portion, a lower portion, and a channel formed through the upper portion and the lower portion. The water filter also includes an interface adapter accommodated in the channel, wherein the interface adapter includes a side wall vertically extending from an upper surface of the interface adapter and partially around a perimeter of the upper surface, and a projection vertically extending from the upper surface, wherein the projection is integrally formed with the upper surface and a portion of the side wall.
FILTERING DEVICE, PURIFICATION DEVICE, CHEMICAL LIQUID MANUFACTURING DEVICE, FILTERED SUBSTANCE TO BE PURIFIED, CHEMICAL LIQUID, AND ACTINIC RAY-SENSITIVE OR RADIATION-SENSITIVE RESIN COMPOSITION
An object of the present invention is to provide a filtering device which makes it possible to obtain a chemical liquid having excellent performance and enables filter media to have sufficiently long pot life. Another object of the present invention is to provide a purification device, a chemical liquid manufacturing device, a filtered substance to be purified, a chemical liquid, and an actinic ray-sensitive or radiation-sensitive resin composition. A filtering device according to an embodiment of the present invention has a first filter unit including a first filter, which satisfies at least one condition selected from the group consisting of following conditions 1 to 3, and a housing accommodating the first filter and a second filter unit including a second filter different from the first filter and a housing accommodating the second filter, in which the first filter unit and the second filter unit are independently disposed in a pipe line through which a substance to be purified is supplied.
Condition 1: the filter has a filter medium including two or more layers containing materials different from each other.
Condition 2: the filter has a filter medium including two or more layers having different pore structures.
Condition 3: the filter has a filter medium including one layer in which different materials are mixed together.
Frame-type disc filter with bypass water control for preventing bypass water from being used in backwashing
A frame-type disc filter (100) is provided with a bypass water collector (33) disposed adjacent an inlet to the disc filter. Influent water overflows the inlet into the bypass water collector. A conduit is communicatively connected to the bypass water collector for directing the bypass water from the frame-type disc filter to an effluent channel that is independent of the frame-type disc filter.
FILTER APPARATUS
The invention relates to a filter apparatus (10) comprising a plurality of filter elements (20) which can be received in a filter housing (12) having a filter inlet (50) for a fluid to be filtered and a filter outlet (52) for the filtered fluid, characterised in that a pressure control device (42) has at least one control plate (58) which, located inside a connection chamber (14), laterally passes over individual upper element openings (54) of the filter element to be backwashed (20), in a predefinable sequence, covering the opening to an increasing degree and then exposing the opening again, and in that a discharge opening (46) of the backwash device (44) is, at least in part, fluidically connected to a lower element opening (56) of the filter element (20) to be backwashed, as the pressure control device (42) moves towards the upper element opening (54).
WATER FILTER
A water filter is provided. The water filter includes a filtration material and a filter housing spaced for accommodating at least a portion of the filtration material therein. The water filter also includes a housing cap coupled to an upper end of the filter housing for enclosing the filtration material within the water filter.
