Air purification apparatus for vehicle
An air purification apparatus includes an adsorption unit, a purification passage, and a regeneration passage. The adsorption unit adsorbs carbon dioxide and water vapor in air. The purification passage introduces air in a passenger compartment into the adsorption unit, and returns air, from which the carbon dioxide and the water vapor are adsorbed and removed by the adsorption unit, into the passenger compartment. The regeneration passage introduces air for regeneration into the adsorption unit, and discharges used air for regeneration obtained by regenerating the adsorption unit to an outside of the vehicle. An upstream side of the adsorption unit of the regeneration passage and the purification passage is constituted by an internal air introduction pipeline configured to introduce air from the passenger compartment.

Systems for generating water with waste heat and related methods therefor
This disclosure is related to systems, methods, apparatuses, and techniques for generating water using waste heat. In certain embodiments, a system includes a water generating unit and a waste-heat-generating-system. The water generating unit can be configured to generate the water and comprises a desiccation device and a condenser coupled to the desiccation device. The waste-heat-generating-system can generate the waste heat when operating or is use. The water generating unit can be configured to use waste heat generated by the waste-heat-generating-system to generate the water.
Method of manufacturing an adsorbent and resulting composition of matter
The present invention covers a novel method for creating an adsorbent and the resulting novel adsorbent. The method may be used to remove pollutants/unwanted chemicals from water, air, other gases, biological fluids (such as blood, urine, lipids, protein fluids), and other fluids (such as fuel). The adsorbent may be used to remove heavy metals (for example, lead), organic pollutants, inorganic non-meal pollutants (for example, nitrates and bromates). Accordingly, the current invention has many applications including but not limited to water treatment, wastewater treatment, biomedical fluid treatments, gas cleanup, and fuel (oil, gas) cleanup.
OXYGEN TANK WITH IMPROVED OXYGEN STORAGE
A tank for accumulating oxygen enriched air from an oxygen concentration device is disclosed. The oxygen concentration device includes a canister including a nitrogen-adsorbent material. A compressor is coupled to the canister. The compressor compresses air for the canister to produce oxygen enriched air in a swing adsorption process. The tank includes a closed container for collecting oxygen enriched air produced in the canister. An inlet is coupled to the container. An outlet in the container allows a patient to inhale the collected oxygen enriched air. An adsorbent material within the container adsorbs oxygen enriched air added to the tank from the canister.

The invention discloses a double-layer sealed box having an activated carbon circulation sealing device, comprising an outer layer box, an inner layer box, and an activated carbon input device. The inner layer box is wrapped in the outer layer box, a first activated carbon transport chamber is formed at the top of the the inner layer box, between the outer layer box and the inner layer box, and a second activated carbon transport chamber is formed at least one side of the the inner layer box, between the outer layer box and the inner layer box.

The multi-functional composition of matter may include a fixed carbon sorbent and minerals, halogens in the form of halide salts, as well as other physical and chemical properties to enhance (1) the oxidation reaction kinetics for the oxidation of mercury species and (2) the mass diffusion kinetics of the mercury species.
Honeycomb adsorbent, method of manufacturing the honeycomb adsorbent and canister
A cylindrical column-shaped honeycomb adsorbent has a plurality of cell passages extending along an axial direction of the honeycomb adsorbent. The plurality of cell passages are configured so that a pitch of adjacent cell passages is within a range of 1.5 mm˜1.8 mm, and so that a thickness of a wall between the cell passages is within a range of 0.45 mm˜0.60 mm. With this configuration, the honeycomb adsorbent exhibits BWC (Butane Working Capacity) of 6.5 g/dL or greater. By mixing fibrous meltable core melting away during baking, the honeycomb adsorbent has macropores configured to have a volume of 0.15 mL/g˜0.35 mL/g with respect to an overall weight of the honeycomb adsorbent and metal oxide particles having a proportion of weight of 150˜250% with respect to the activated carbon.
