SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR COMPRESSING AND CONDITIONING HYDROCARBON GAS
A system and method captures and processes flare gas so that the gas is usable as compressed natural gas (“CNG”). The flare gas is pressurized by a combination of a booster compressor and a CNG compressor. While interstage and between the booster compressor and the CNG compressor, the gas is treated to remove moisture and to separate out higher molecular weight hydrocarbons. The moisture is removed by contacting the interstage gas with a hygroscopic agent within a dehydration unit. The moisture free hydrocarbon fluid is expanded, and/or externally cooled and directed to a knock out drum. Higher molecular weight hydrocarbons are separated from the fluid in the knock out drum. Gas from the knock out drum is compressed in the CNG compressor.
METHOD FOR DESULPHURIZATING AND DENITRATING FLUE GAS IN INTEGRATED MANNER BASED ON LOW-TEMPERATURE ADSORPTION
Provided is a method for desulphurizating and denitrating a flue gas in an integrated manner based on low-temperature adsorption. The method includes: decreasing a temperature of the flue gas below a room temperature by using a flue gas cooling system; removing moisture in the flue gas by using a dehumidification system; sending the flue gas to a SO.sub.2 and NO.sub.x adsorbing column system; and simultaneously adsorbing SO.sub.2 and NO.sub.x of the flue gas with a material of activated coke, activated carbon, a molecular sieve or diatom mud in the SO.sub.2 and NO.sub.x adsorbing column system to implement an integration of desulphurization and denitration of the flue gas based on the low-temperature adsorption. With the present method, SO.sub.2 and NO.sub.x of the flue gas can be adsorbed simultaneously in an environment having a temperature below the room temperature.
Highly Siliceous Form of Zeolite RHO
A composition can include a Rho zeolite with a RHO topology having a Si to B ratio or a Si to A1 ratio greater than or equal to 8. Making such a composition can include heating an aqueous reaction mixture having a molar ratio of atomic Si to atomic B of about 4 to about 50 or a molar ratio of atomic Si to atomic Al of about 4 to about 50 in the presence of a C.sub.4-C.sub.6 diquat of N,2-dimethylbenzimidazole structure directing agent to a temperature of at least 75° C. to produce a Rho zeolite.
Air separators and related methods
A portable gas separator assembly utilizing carbon molecular sieve absorbents or elements to separate a compressed air stream to extract nitrogen and oxygen molecules. Components of the assembly include at least two charging towers so that one tower can be charged with compressed gas while the other of the at least two towers is purged.
System for high-value utilization of organic solid waste
A system for high-value utilization of organic solid waste includes an anaerobic digestion unit, a biogas measurement and collection unit and a methane purification and liquefaction unit. The anaerobic digestion unit includes an organic solid waste pretreatment system and an anaerobic digestion device. The biogas measurement and collection unit includes a gas flow meter and a high-pressure biogas collection device. The methane purification and liquefaction unit includes a high-pressure separation tank, a liquefaction pretreatment system, a heavy hydrocarbon and benzene removal device, a two-stage rectification system, a low-temperature pressure liquid storage tank device and a buffer storage tank. The organic solid waste undergoes an anaerobic digestion treatment to produce methane followed by collection, purification and liquefaction.
Apparatus, method, and system for reducing moisture in LED lighting fixtures
Sealed LED lighting fixtures operated under certain conditions (e.g., outdoors, in cold ambient environments, at high operating current, and/or in non-hermetic environments) will oftentimes exhibit condensation on an inner surface of the emitting face of the fixture. When occurring, said condensation impairs the ability to produce useful light—namely, light harnessed and directed in a manner so to provide lighting for a task (or otherwise desired)—by diffusing light emitted from the lighting fixture. Envisioned are apparatus, methods, and systems to reduce moisture in sealed LED lighting fixtures so to reduce or eliminate condensation, and in a manner that addresses both fixtures already in the field and those being assembled.
METHOD FOR RECOVERY OF PARAXYLENE WITH REDUCED CRYSTALLIZATION LOAD
A method for the recovery paraxylene with reduced crystallization. Paraxylene is recovered from a mixture of C8 aromatic hydrocarbons in a pressure swing adsorption zone and a crystallization zone. The invention provides for lower throughput through the crystallization zone, resulting in lower capital costs, reduced electricity in operating separation equipment, as well as reduced refrigeration duty.
Method of Recovering Paraxylene from a Mixture of Aromatic Hydrocarbons
A method for recovering paraxylene from a mixture of aromatic hydrocarbons. The process uses a pressure swing adsorption zone followed by a paraxylene recovery zone. The invention provides for lower throughput through the paraxylene recovery zone, resulting in lower capital costs and operating costs.
Electro oxidation membrane evaporator
Electro oxidation membrane evaporator 1 comprises sweep air handler 60; fluid tank 20 defining a fluid container; fluid contactor/separator 30; oxidation cell 40; and scrubber 80. Electro oxidation membrane evaporator 1 may allow higher percent water recovery from wastewater prior to delivering brine to a brine water recovery system and can allow O.sub.2 from air such as cabin air to continuously diffuse into the wastewater as O.sub.2 is consumed to generate oxidants, helping to eliminate the low oxidant environment at the end of the cycle that causes pH to remain high, and low pH prevents precipitates from forming for longer so more water can be evaporated from the wastewater.
Highly stable Ni-M F6-NH2O/onpyrazine2(solvent)x metal organic frameworks and methods of use
Provided herein are metal organic frameworks comprising metal nodes and N-donor organic ligands. Methods for capturing chemical species from fluid compositions comprise contacting a metal organic framework characterized by the formula [M.sub.aM.sub.bF.sub.6-n(O/H.sub.2O).sub.w(Ligand).sub.x(solvent).sub.y].sub.z with a fluid composition and capturing one or more chemical species from the fluid composition.
