Device and method for drying compressed gas and a compressor installation provided with such device
A device for drying compressed gas, having an inlet for compressed gas to be dried and an outlet for dried compressed gas. The device includes at least two vessels, a regenerable drying agent and a controllable valve system. By controlling the valve system, the vessels are each in turn successively regenerated. The device is provided with a regeneration conduit splitting off a portion of the dried compressed gas as a regeneration gas and feeding it into the at least one vessel that is being regenerated. The regeneration conduit at least partly extends through an opening in the vessels such that the regeneration gas can be split off from the vessel that dries the compressed gas. A heater is provided in the regeneration conduit for heating the regeneration gas before the regeneration gas is fed through the drying agent into the vessel that is being regenerated.
EFFICIENT USE OF ADSORBENTS FOR INDOOR AIR SCRUBBING
Some embodiments of the disclosure correspond to, for example, a method for controlling a scrubber containing an adsorbent. The scrubber may be configured to cycle between scrubbing at least one pollutant/gas from a stream of gases with the pollutant/gas being adsorbed onto the adsorbent, and regenerating at least some of the adsorbent and thereby purging at least some of the one pollutant and/or first gas from the adsorbent via a regeneration gas flow. The method may include flowing a stream of gases through the scrubber, the scrubber including the adsorbent and adsorbing at least some of the one pollutant/gas from the stream of gases onto the adsorbent during an adsorption phase over a first time period. The method may also include purging at least a portion of the one pollutant/ gas from the adsorbent during a regeneration phase over a second time period with a regeneration gas flow, and cycling therebetween. Some other embodiments of the disclosure, for example, include an air treatment assembly which includes an adsorbent for adsorbing at least on pollutant/gas from a flow of air in one direction, and purging at least some of the adsorbed pollut -ant/gas from the adsorbent with a regeneration air flow to regenerate the adsorbent.
MOLECULAR SIEVE COMPLEX, COMPOSITE MATERIAL AND APPLICATION THEREOF
A molecular sieve complex contains an oxide of aluminum, an oxide of an alkaline earth metal and a rare earth-modified molecular sieve. The rare earth-modified molecular sieve is a molecular sieve doped by a rare earth element. The percentage of the pore volume occupied by pores of 3 nm or less to the total pore volume in the molecular sieve complex is greater than or equal to 63.5%. The content of the rare earth element and the contents of the oxide of aluminum, the oxide of the alkaline earth metal and the molecular sieve satisfy a certain relationship. The composite material contains a molecular sieve complex and an auxiliary agent loaded on the molecular sieve complex, and the composite material may be applied to flue gas adsorption and desulfurization.
Adsorption processes and systems utilizing step lift control of hydraulically actuated poppet valves
A valve installation is provided, including a valve assembly having a valve, and a fluidized valve actuator coupled with the valve assembly. The actuator includes at least two cylinders and pistons positioned to communicate fluid to apply pressure to the valve assembly. Extension of each piston communicates pressure to the valve assembly and at least partially lifts the valve into an at least partially lifted and open position. The valve installation may be used to regulate fluid flow in various systems, including cyclical swing adsorption processes.
Separation and recovery system and method of hydrogen from coke oven gas(COG) in steel industry
The present invention relates to a system and method for separating and recovering hydrogen from coke oven gas (COG) in steel industry, particularly a system and method for separating and recovering hydrogen at a concentration of 99.9% by volume or more from coke oven gas (COG) in steel industry with a recovery rate of 95% or more.
MIXED GAS GENERATING SYSTEM WITH OXYGEN GENERATOR OR BREATHING TUBE
A mixed gas generating system with oxygen generator or breathing tube includes a hydrogen generator and an oxygen generator or a breathing tube. The hydrogen generator is configured to generate a hydrogen gas by electrolyzing water. The oxygen generator is configured to generate a first oxygen gas. The breathing tube is configured to receive a first oxygen gas from an oxygen supplying device. The hydrogen gas generated by the hydrogen generator is mixed with the first oxygen gas generated by the oxygen generator or provided by the breathing tube through a gas mixing tube or outputting the first oxygen gas to the hydrogen generator, so as to form a mixing gas for the user to inhale.
Synthesis gas production process for the implementation of a natural gas liquefaction
Natural gas liquefaction process in combination with a synthesis gas production process, where the steam derived from the synthesis gas production process is used as a heating source for the implementation of the pre-treatment step for eliminating the impurities liable to freeze during the natural gas liquefaction process.
Compound, synthesis method thereof, and separation and recovery agent thereof
To provide a new compound with pores finely tunable in size so as to take up a specific element and release the specific element taken up in the pores as necessary, a synthesis method of the new compound, and a separation and recovery agent. The new compound represented by the following molecular formula:
(NH.sub.4)[Ln(C.sub.2O.sub.4).sub.2(H.sub.2O)]
wherein Ln represents a lanthanide selected from Sm, Eu, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, and Lu.
Method for recovery of paraxylene with reduced crystallization load
A method for the recovery paraxylene with reduced crystallization. Paraxylene is recovered from a mixture of C8 aromatic hydrocarbons in a pressure swing adsorption zone and a crystallization zone. The invention provides for lower throughput through the crystallization zone, resulting in lower capital costs, reduced electricity in operating separation equipment, as well as reduced refrigeration duty.
