METHOD FOR PRODUCING GASOLINE PARTICULATE FILTER
A method for the manufacture of a Gasoline Particulate Filter is disclosed. The method comprises forming a washcoat slurry, coating a wall-flow filter substrate with the washcoat slurry to form a washcoated substrate, and calcining the washcoated substrate to form a Gasoline Particulate Filter. The washcoat slurry comprises a platinum group metal component consisting of Pt and Rh, an oxygen storage capacity material, and a carboxylate ion.

Method for regulating exhaust emissions
An exhaust gas treatment system for an internal combustion engine includes an exhaust gas pathway that receives exhaust gas from the engine, a temperature sensor configured to generate a temperature signal associated with a temperature of the exhaust gas at a position along the exhaust gas pathway, and a reductant source. The system also includes first and second injectors in fluid communication with the reductant source. The first and second injectors are configured to inject reductant into the exhaust gas pathway at first and second rates. The system also includes a first treatment element positioned downstream of the first injector and within the exhaust gas pathway, and a controller in communication with the temperature sensor. The controller is configured to receive the temperature signal from the temperature sensor and adjust at least one of the first rate or the second rate based at least in part on the temperature signal.

Systems and methods for increasing removal efficiency of at least one filter medium. In some embodiments, at least one oxidizing agent is introduced into the flue gas stream, so as to react SO2 with the at least one oxidizing agent to form sulfur trioxide (SO3), sulfuric acid (H2SO4), or any combination thereof. Some of the embodiments further include introducing ammonia (NH3) and or dry sorbent into the flue gas stream, so as to react at least some of the sulfur trioxide (SO3), at least some of the sulfuric acid (H2SO4), or any combination thereof, with the ammonia (NH3) and form at least one salt.
Large particle, high performance catalytic tape
The present disclosure is directed to a catalytic composite that comprises porous supported catalyst particles durably enmeshed in a porous fibrillated polymer membrane. The supported catalyst particles are composed of at least one metal or metal oxide catalyst dispersed on a porous support substrate. In some embodiments, the porous fibrillated polymer membrane is perforated or otherwise contains mechanically formed holes therein. The supported catalyst particles have a large particle population based, at least in part, a d90 value greater than 100 microns. The catalytic membrane composite may be used in filtration applications to remove air polluting substances such as Sox, NOx, dioxin/furan, CO, and others and convert them into non-polluting or less-polluting gas components. Additionally, the catalytic article may be in the form of a filter bag, a honeycomb, a monolith or any other suitable geometrically structured forms.

Provided are compositions, articles, systems and methods that comprise or use a catalyst composition comprising a zeolite having an LTA structure with iron, manganese or a combination thereof as an extra-framework metal. The zeolite can have a mole ratio of silica-to-alumina (SAR) of about 15 to about 70 and can contain about 0.5 to about 10 weight percent, based on the total weight of the zeolite, of extra-framework iron, manganese or a combination thereof.
Particle Filter with SCR-Active Coating
The present invention relates to a particle filter which comprises a wall-flow filter and SCR-catalytically active material, wherein the wall-flow filter comprises ducts which extend in parallel between a first and a second end of the wall-flow filter and which are alternately closed off in gas-type fashion either at the first or at the second end and which are separated by porous walls, and wherein the SCR-active material comprises a zeolite which is exchanged with copper and/or iron and which is situated in the form of a coating in the porous walls of the wall-flow filter, characterized in that the SCR-catalytically active coating comprises palladium.
