APPARATUS AND CALCULATING METHOD OF PH
A human load of regularly measuring a pH of a position 4 meters from a discharge point during a term of a commissioning of a ship with a scrubber apparatus is reduced. Provided is an apparatus provided inside a ship having a scrubber, including a first pH measuring instrument which measures a pH value of washing water discharged from the scrubber to outboard, a second pH measuring instrument which measures a pH value of washing water supplied from outboard to the scrubber, and a calculating unit which calculates a pH value of water at a predetermined position outboard, based on a dilution ratio which shows a ratio by which the washing water discharged to outboard is diluted at the predetermined position outboard, the pH value measured by the first pH measuring instrument, and the pH value measured by the second pH measuring instrument.
DEVICE FOR DECREASING HYDROGEN CONCENTRATION OF FUEL CELL SYSTEM
A device for decreasing hydrogen concentration of a fuel cell system is installed in an exhaust system of a fuel cell system so as to discharge exhaust gas including hydrogen and air from fuel cells to the atmosphere through an exhaust line. The device includes: a catalyst diluter that includes catalysts for diluting hydrogen in the exhaust gas by generating a catalytic reaction, the catalyst diluter being connected to the exhaust line; and an air diluter that is disposed outside the catalyst diluter and guides external air to a gas exit side of the catalyst diluter, in which the catalyst diluter may include a valve unit that opens and closes an external air channel of the air diluter in accordance with flow pressure of the exhaust gas.
Ship flue gas scrubbing apparatus and method
A ship flue gas scrubbing apparatus and scrubbing method are provided. The apparatus includes a housing, an upper scrubbing layer at the upper side inside the housing, and a liquid collecting pool in the lower side inside the housing, a flue gas leading-in port between the scrubbing layer and the liquid collecting pool, a scrubbing seawater inlet above the scrubbing layer, and a cooler located at a flue gas passage between the flue gas inlet outside the housing and the scrubbing layer. The method includes leading flue gas, cooling, injecting scrubbing seawater, scrubbing and other steps.
Sound-absorbent element for an air outlet
The invention relates to a sound-absorbent element for an air outlet, said air outlet comprising a housing with an air outlet opening and a connection to an air supply shaft, at least one sound-absorbent element being mounted in said housing and/or a housing of the air supply shaft, and said sound-absorbent element comprising a carrier that is connected to at least one layer of sound-absorbent material. Said at least one layer of sound-absorbent material comprises activated carbon, or at least one additional layer of activated carbon is applied to this layer of sound-absorbent material.
ADSORBENT, CANISTER, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING ADSORBENT
An object of the present invention is to provide an adsorbent and a canister which can improve adsorption performance and purge performance. An adsorbent 10 to be packed in a canister includes: a cylindrical outer wall 10A, and a plurality of ribs 10B for partitioning along an axis of the outer wall 10A into a plurality of cells, wherein the thickness da of the outer wall 10A and the thickness dβ of the ribs 10B is less than 0.6 mm, the thickness of at least either of the outer wall 10A and the ribs 10B exceeds 0.4 mm, the outer diameter D of the outer wall 10A is 3.5 mm or more and 40 mm or less, a BWC exceeds 3.0 g/dL, and
purge efficiency((amount of butane adsorbed−amount of butane retained)/amount of butane adsorbed) is more than 0.86 or more.
VEHICLE AIR PURIFICATION SYSTEM AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING VEHICLE AIR PURIFICATION SYSTEM
A vehicle air purification system includes a first heating device (130-1), a first adsorption block (140-1), and a first flow path switching mechanism (150-1). The vehicle air purification system includes a first flow path configured to communicate with a vehicle cabin, a second heating device (130-2), a second adsorption block (140-2), and a second flow path switching mechanism (150-2). The vehicle air purification system includes a second flow path configured to communicate with the vehicle cabin, a blower (110) configured to circulate air from the vehicle cabin, an air distribution mechanism (120) configured to distribute air flowing from the vehicle cabin to the first flow path and the second flow path, and a control device (20). The control device (20) controls components at a timing when the flow of the air from a flow path of a side on which purification target substances are being desorbed to the vehicle cabin is able to be limited when the flow path is switched between a flow path along which the air that has passed through a first adsorption block flows and a flow path along which the air that has passed through a second adsorption block flows.
