FIBROUS DISPERSION AND FILTRATION AIR OUTLET SYSTEM
The present invention relates to a fibrous dispersion and filtration air outlet system. A fibrous dispersion and filtration air outlet system comprises of an air outlet basket with a tumbling chamber, coupled with a vented base. Airflow from an HVAC air supply duct is channeled through a fibrous dispersion and filtration air outlet system, the airflow is tumbled, filtered of particulates and dispersed uniformly through the plurality of microscopic apertures of the filtration medium upon exiting the system.
PRESSURE GENERATING DEVICE AND AIR FILTER HAVING A CORRELATED ARRANGEMENT OF MAGNETS
An air filtration assembly includes a filter portion formed from a suitable filtration media and a mounting portion disposed adjacent the filter portion. The mounting portion includes a series of first magnetic field emission structures positioned therein or thereon.
Magnetic filter fastener
A fastener for removably securing sheeting to a support surface, such as an HVAC system or other device. The fastener includes a base, a rare-earth magnet to removably couple the base to the support surface, the rare-earth magnet having an epoxy coating and being capable of securing the base to a pre-selected location on the support surface, and a locking member pivotably coupled to the base and adjustable between a selectable first position and a second position, and wherein the locking member remains in the selected position unless acted upon by a user.
FILTER ELEMENT WITH FLAT SHAPE ADAPTED TO BE LOCKED IN CURVED SHAPE
A filter element is provided for being removably arranged in a filter housing, the filter element including a filter material body. The filter element is adapted to assume a first state, in which it has a substantially flat shape, and a second state, in which it has such a curved shape, such that opposite outer peripheral sides of the filter element are directed towards each other and in which it is adapted for a filtering operation. The filter element is adapted to be locked in the second state when arranged in the filter housing. A filter system is also provided including a filter element and an anchoring device adapted to be arranged between the opposite outer peripheral sides of the filter element when it is curved to the second state.
ASSEMBLY, KIT AND METHOD FOR SECURING A COVERING TO AN AIR INTAKE FACE
An assembly, kit and method for installing a covering over an air intake opening in engagement with a surrounding perimeter extending face. A plurality of fasteners are provided which can be directly secured to an air intake face, such by utilizing either of magnets or adhesives. These include each of twist and toggle lock fasteners in which a magnet or adhesive is incorporated into a base of the fastener. A further fastener variant incorporates a rigid stem with a compressible or deflectable upper enlarged head which can be resistive fitted during insertion through a grommet aperture in the filter screen outer perimeter and, once passing through the grommet, subsequently re-expanding to hold the screen in place.
AIR FILTERING DEVICE
An air filtering device for indicating when to replace the internal filter of an HVAC system. The air filtering device includes a frame having a plurality of sidewalls each having an upper end and a lower end. Each sidewall contains a plurality of slits that cycle air therethrough. A filter member is affixed to the upper end of the plurality of sidewalls, wherein the upper end containing the filter member is closed and the lower end is opened. Magnetic fasteners are affixed to the lower end of the plurality of sidewalls, wherein the magnetic fasteners removably secure to an outer perimeter of a return vent, such that the filter member overlays the grill of the return vent. In an alternate embodiment, a magnetic support member is affixed to a lower surface of the filter member at an equidistance from opposing sidewalls to prevent the filter member from touching the grill.
GERMICIDAL DEVICE FOR AIR AND FOR LIQUIDS
Disclosed is a germicidal device for air and for liquids, characterised in that it has five different operation modes, which comprises a series of particle-retaining filters (2, 14, 22, 25, 35) made of activated carbon and silver-ion fabric and through which a current of fluid passes at different pressures, propelled by motor-turbines (16, 17) towards labyrinth plates (5, 6). The plates surround a refrigeration compartment (9) containing emitters (7) of germicidal radiation, which refrigerate and purify gases such as ozone, preventing the consumption thereof and allowing same to be used as a germicidal reinforcement in the system. Purified air to be inhaled and exhaled air are carried through tubes (31, 32) between the device and a mask worn by the user, which are attached to the neck or head by means of retentive supports (37, 39, 40, 44, 45).
MAGNETIC COVER FOR AIR FILTER BOX
An apparatus and methods are provided for a magnetic cover for an air filtration system for an internal combustion engine. The air filtration system includes a housing that has an interior that receives an air filter. A mount portion comprising the housing supports the air filter. The magnetic cover encloses the interior of the housing. An edge portion surrounding an opening in the housing forms an airtight connection with an edge portion of the magnetic cover. The edge portion of the housing includes a number of magnets that attach to a similar number of magnets in the edge portion of the magnetic cover to establish the airtight connection. A seal provides an airtight connection between the housing and the magnetic cover. The housing and the magnetic cover are configured for hand removal of the magnetic cover from the housing.
FILTER-HOUSING INTERFACE DESIGNS FOR HEATING, VENTILATION, AND AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEMS
A filter element for a heating, ventilation, and/or air conditioning (HVAC) system includes a filter media pack, a support element, and a magnetic material. The support element is configured to couple the filter media pack to a filter housing. The support element extends along a longitudinal direction from a first longitudinal end to a second longitudinal end. The magnetic material is disposed on the first longitudinal end of the support element. The magnetic material is configured to magnetically engage a second magnetic material of the filter housing to facilitate alignment between the a housing rail of the filter housing and the support element during installation of the support element into a filter housing.
Filter interconnects utilizing magnetic shear force generated by coded polymagnets
A filtration system interconnection structure having a filter manifold and a filter cartridge in magnetic communication with one another, such that a latching mechanism of the manifold secures the filter cartridge within a manifold sump when the filter cartridge is inserted therein. The magnetic communication is formed between two complementary coded polymagnets capable of producing a magnetic shear force when in close proximity to one another. The magnetic shear force removes a latch blocking structure from interfering with the latch, allowing the latch to secure the filter cartridge. Movement of the latch blocking structure coded polymagnet relative to the filter cartridge coded polymagnet may be perpendicular or parallel with respect to each other such that a shear force is generated therebetween, allowing for actuation of the latch blocking mechanism against a biasing force, and allowing the latch to move radially inwards against a separate biasing force.
