Filter element and a filter assembly
A filter assembly 7 for separating contaminants from a fluid stream is described. The filter assembly 7 comprises a filter element 58 which is locatable within chamber 19 in a flow path extending between inlet 54 and outlet 56. The filter element 58 comprises a filter media component 60, and the filter element is locatable within the chamber 19 in the flow path so that fluid flowing from the inlet 54 to the outlet 56 is directed through the filter media component. The filter assembly 7 comprises at least one first alignment assembly having a first alignment component 64a provided by the housing portion 21c and disposed within chamber 19, and a second alignment component 66a provided by the filter element 58. The first and second alignment components 64a and 66a cooperate to rotationally orient the filter element 58 within the chamber 19.
Air cleaner arrangements; serviceable filter elements; and, methods
An air cleaner arrangement or assembly is provided. The air cleaner arrangement includes a serviceable filter cartridge. The air cleaner assembly also includes an arrangement for positioning the filter cartridge into a preferred, sealing, orientation and for securing the filter cartridge in that location. Preferred serviceable filter cartridges are provided, as well as methods of assembly and use.
TIGHT FITTING RESPIRATOR WITH EXHALATION FILTER AND EXHALATION FILTER FOR TIGHT FITTING RESPIRATOR
A powered air purifying respirator includes an inlet air filter; a flow generator configured to cause air from an ambient environment to flow through the inlet air filter and elevate pressure of the air to above ambient conditions; a mask in fluid communication with the flow generator and configured to fit tightly against a user's face or neck for delivery of the air to the user at the elevated pressure; and a one-way outlet valve configured to allow air exhaled by the user to be vented to the ambient environment. An outlet filter may be included to filter the air flowing through the one-way valve, and the outlet filter may be retrofit. The outlet filter may be preferred when filtration of both inlet and outlet air is desirable.
Air filter system, air filter element for use in same, and method for servicing same
The present disclosure is directed towards filter elements whose overall length can be adjusted such that the filter element can be installed through an opening in an air cleaner opening having a relatively smaller dimension than the maximum dimension of the filter element. In one aspect, the filter element can include a radial seal member disposed on a positionable coupling element circumscribing at least a portion of a filter medium pack. The filter element has a first axial length when the positionable coupling element is in an extended position and has a second axial length when the positionable coupling element is in a collapsed position, wherein the first axial length is greater than the second axial length. In some examples, the filter element includes two positionable coupling elements.
Modular filter system
A separator system for separating drops and solid particles from an air inlet flow. The separator system includes an air inlet channel opening and a separating body which is internally installed. The separating body is arranged downstream of the air inlet channel opening so as to completely cover the air inlet channel opening and to extend flat in a mounting plane. The separating body is provided as a modular design and includes, in the mounting plane, at least one first separating part, and at least one second separating part which is arranged to be separate from the at least one first separating part.
Filter module comprising a filter element in a filter housing
A filter module is provided with a filter housing provided with an inflow opening. A filter element with an annular filter medium body with an elongate cross-sectional shape is arranged inside the filter housing. A flow path is defined between the inflow opening of the filter housing and an inflow side of the filter medium body. A swirl device is arranged in the flow path and impresses a swirl onto an incoming fluid. The swirl device is a part separate from an outer wall of the filter housing. The swirl device is arranged axially upstream of the inflow side of the filter medium body. The swirl device is provided with a displacement body arranged inside the filter housing adjacent to the inflow opening. The displacement body forms a flow guiding element.
Filter assembly, filter bag and method of replacing a filter bag
The disclosure relates to a filter assembly (16) comprising a frame (6) comprising a frame part (6.1) having a top side (7a), a bottom side (7d), inner edges (7c) defining an aperture (26) and outer edges (7b) forming an outer perimeter of the frame part (6.1), and a bag-like insert (11) comprising filter material and having an open upper portion (14) and at least one closed bottom portion. The insert (11) is fitted into the aperture (26) of the frame (6) with the open upper portion (14) bent over the frame part (6.1) to cover the top side (7a), the outer edges (7b) and at least part of the bottom side (7d) of the frame part (6.1). The upper portion (14) of the insert (11), which is bent over the frame (6), comprises a stretch region (27) made of stretchable material. The insert (11) is fastened to the frame (6) by a pressing force generated by the stretch region (27) against the frame (6).
VACUUM CLEANER
A vacuum cleaner includes: a main-body assembly, which has a suction port; and a filter assembly, at least a portion of which is disposed more forward than the main-body assembly so as to oppose the suction port. The filter assembly includes: a support frame; a filter, which is supported on the support frame; and a retaining-rib member, which is inserted, from the front, into one or more grooves provided on the main-body assembly, the retaining-rib member being fixed to the support frame.
VACUUM CLEANER
A vacuum cleaner includes: an inlet pipe; and a lock mechanism that fixes an extension pipe, which is connected to the inlet pipe. The lock mechanism includes a pipe-lock lever, which has a pipe-hook part that is hooked into a pipe-recess part provided on the extension pipe.
