Round Filter Element, in Particular for Gas Filtration
A round filter element has a filter medium body with a wall to be flowed through by a fluid to be purified in a radial direction relative to a longitudinal axis of the filter medium body. A circumferentially extending seal carrier is arranged at or adjacent to an end face of the filter medium body. A sealing element is supported at the seal carrier adjacent to a radial outer side of the filter medium body. A positioning element extends into the filter medium body and engages with a correlated housing-associated counter positioning element of a filter housing when the round filter element is installed in the filter housing. The seal carrier separates flow-tightly a raw side of the round filter element from a clean side of the round filter element when the round filter element is installed in the filter housing.
Filter Unit
A filter unit configured to be arranged on a process apparatus for particulate removal from process air of a process apparatus includes a filter housing, a filter basket including a filter basket ring, and a filter. The filter is permeable to process air and impermeable to particles being treated. The filter basket is arranged between the filter housing and the filter, and the filter basket and the filter are fastenable to the filter housing. The filter unit includes a sealing mechanism including a sealant element. The sealing mechanism including a sealing element is arranged on the lower region of the filter housing.
Filter elements, coalescing baffles, filtration vessel and methods
Improvements to filtration and vessels such as for filtration and coalescing of gas streams are shown. A filter element with a partial treated region and untreated region such as providing different surface energies or other filtration characteristics are provided. Various keying arrangements for compatibility and/or rotational locking are shown between the filtration vessel, a tubular coalescing baffle, and/or filter element. The tubular coalescing baffle also may include non-louvered pore structure, which provides for more even flow in a two stage type filtration vessel to prevent premature exiting and reduction of flow velocities along the second stage, and/or may additionally or alternatively include drainage apertures such as drain slot formed along a gravitational bottom or otherwise to facilitate additional drainage of coalesced liquid as opposed to letting such liquid be forced through fluid velocity toward the open end of the tubular baffle.
FILTER ASSEMBLY FOR GAS TURBINE ENGINE
A filter assembly for an engine, has: a housing having a longitudinal axis and defining an internal volume, the housing having an open end; and a cartridge assembly receivable within the internal volume via the open end of the housing and securable to the housing, the cartridge assembly including a filter cartridge, a cover removably secured to the filter cartridge, and a sealing member between the cover and the filter cartridge, a locking engagement between the cover and the filter cartridge to limit an axial movement of the cover relative to the filter cartridge upon removal of the cartridge assembly from the housing.
Filter assemblies; components and features thereof; and, methods of use and assembly
Filter assemblies, components therefor, and features thereof are described. Also described are methods of assembly and use. In depicted examples, the air cleaner assemblies and components use advantageous housing seal features. Also, methods of assembly and use are described.
Filter and Filter Cartridge
A filter cartridge for a filter for filtration of a fluid has a prismatic basic shape with a base face and a top face arranged parallel to each other and each having a polygonal basic shape. The prismatic basic shape is provided with a first lateral face and a second lateral face neighboring the first lateral face, wherein the first lateral face is an inflow surface and is substantially positioned perpendicular to the neighboring second lateral face. The prismatic basic shape has a third lateral face that is an outflow surface and is positioned at an angle relative to the first lateral face, wherein the angle is greater than 10° and smaller than 80°. A filter with such a filter cartridge is disclosed.
Filtration methods, apparatus, and systems using a ceramic seal gasket
The present disclosure relates, according to some embodiments, to systems, apparatus, and methods for fluid filtration (e.g., water) with a ceramic membrane having a seal. For example, the present disclosure relates, in some embodiments, to a cross-flow fluid filtration assembly comprising (a) an elongate ceramic membrane filter having a first filter end, a second filter end, at least one filter side, and at least one interior channel spanning the length of the filter, (b) a first filtration seal gasket fixed to the first filter end forming a fluid-tight seal therebetween, and (c) a second filtration seal gasket fixed to the second filter end forming a fluid-tight seal therebetween. The present disclosure also relates to a cross-flow fluid filtration module comprising a fluid path defined by a contaminated media inlet chamber, a fluid filtration assembly positioned in a permeate chamber, and a concentrate chamber.
AIR FILTER DEVICES WITH GAP SEALING UNIT
An air filter device including an air filter unit and an expansion unit. The air filter unit includes a filter media assembly maintained by an outer frame assembly. The outer frame assembly defines exterior length, width and depth dimensions of the air filter device in an initial state. The expansion unit provides one or more of an expanded length, width or depth in an expanded state of the air filter device. Portions or an entirety of the expansion unit can provided apart from the air filter unit in a deliver condition of the air filter device, or can be assembled to the air filter unit prior to delivery to a user. The air filter devices of the present disclosure are useful with a wide variety of differently size air handling devices, able to readily seal with an air handling device compartment via the expansion unit.
Non-sealed reticle storage device
A reticle storage device includes a top lid having a ceiling and a cover surrounding the ceiling, and a bottom lid having a carrier and a peripheral structure surrounding the carrier. When the top lid engages with the bottom lid, a passage is defined therebetween and therefore the reticle storage device is not sealed.
Method of forming filter arrangements; and, apparatus
A filter cartridge arrangement for use in air cleaners is provided. The filter cartridge arrangement includes a media pack including a plurality of inlet flutes and outlet flutes extending between first and second opposite flow faces and formed from an arrangement of facing sheet secured to corrugated sheet. An example cartridge includes a preform secured to the media pack. In some forms, the preform includes an arrangement extending over one of the flow faces.
