An air cleaner assembly, a main filter element, a safety element, combinations and methods for servicing an air cleaner assembly are provided according to the present invention. The air cleaner assembly includes an air cleaner housing and a main filter element. The air cleaner housing includes a safety liner that supports the main filter element, and can be configured to help reduce the tendency of the main filter element to rotate during use of the air cleaner assembly. A safety element having two open ends, for use with such an assembly is described.

An oil separator is taught having the filter element with at least one pressure control valve controlling crankcase pressure and has a valve closing body that operates in conjunction with a valve seat. The sealing element having at least one radially sealing region that is configured to act in the direction of the radius of the annular filter element, and at least one axially sealing region that is configured to act in the direction of the longitudinal axis of the annular filter element.

Various example embodiments relate to rotating coalescers. One embodiment includes a housing comprising a first housing section having a blowby gas inlet structured to receive crankcase blowby gases from a crankcase. The housing further comprises an oil outlet. The rotating coalescer includes an endcap and filter media. The filter media is arranged in a cylindrical shape and is coupled to and positioned between the first housing section and endcap. The filter media is structured to filter the crankcase blowby gases passing through the filter media by coalescing and separating oils and aerosols contained in the crankcase blowby gases. The rotating coalescer includes a hollow shaft extending through the housing and positioned radially inside of the filter media. The hollow shall forms a blowby gas outlet structured to route filtered crankcase blowby gases out of the housing. The rotating coalescer further includes a drive mechanism operatively coupled to the hollow shaft.

Air cleaner assemblies, components, and features are described. The features can be used to provide that the air cleaner assembly includes a housing and cover within which a filter cartridge having a media pack and a seal arrangement surrounding the media pack can be installed. The air cleaner assembly may also include a projection-receiver arrangement in which the filter cartridge has at least one first member and the housing has at least one second member that interacts with the first member. In one example, a portion of the seal arrangement is coplanar with the first member and a portion that is below the first member such that the first member is located between the seal arrangement and an inlet end of the filter cartridge.

The seal assembly may be a separate subassembly or component which is releasably couplable to the access apparatus or may be integral with the access apparatus. The seal assembly defines its own flow path independent of the insufflation mechanism of the cannula assembly, and is capable of filtering fluids even in the presence of a surgical object positioned within the cannula assembly.

The present disclosure is directed towards filter elements whose overall length can be adjusted such that the filter element can be installed through an opening in an air cleaner opening having a relatively smaller dimension than the maximum dimension of the filter element. In one aspect, the filter element can include a radial seal member disposed on a positionable coupling element circumscribing at least a portion of a filter medium pack. The filter element has a first axial length when the positionable coupling element is in an extended position and has a second axial length when the positionable coupling element is in a collapsed position, wherein the first axial length is greater than the second axial length. In some examples, the filter element includes two positionable coupling elements.

A clean air seal is configured to seal a raw side of the air filter against a clean side of the air filter. The clean air seal and the first end disk are embodied together as one piece. The clean air seal protrudes continuously radially past the filter medium. A filter housing for the air filter element is provided with a filter pot and a cover and has a clean air outlet and a raw air inlet arranged at a side wall of the filter pot.

A side-covered axial flow filter has a housing, a filter core, a filter frame, and a side cover. When assembling, the filter frame and the filter core are both obliquely installed into the housing. Limiting ribs of the filter frame are obliquely mounted between first pushing panels and a clamping surface of the housing, and inner pushing parts of the limiting ribs abut the first pushing panels. The portions of the inner pushing parts abutting the first pushing panels serve as fulcrums to straighten the filter core and the filter frame, so outer pushing parts of the limiting ribs may abut the clamping surfaces of the housing and generate a strong torque and a tightly sealing effect without much effort. The side cover also abuts the filter frame when assembled on the housing, so the filter frame is under balanced pressure to avoid leak.

A seal for the cover has a first sealing ring and a second sealing connected to each other by flanks. The filter system has a housing with a housing part that is closable by the cover. A filter element is exchangeably arranged in the housing, and the fluid channel of the cover is connected in fluid communication to the interior of the filter element.

The circumferentially extending sealing device has an oval geometry with a long side and a short side. The circumferentially extending sealing device has an outer surface projecting, in a radial direction of the secondary filter element, farther past the filter medium when viewed along the short side compared to when viewed along the long side. A filter arrangement has a filter receptacle. A main filter element is received in the filter receptacle, and a secondary filter element is received in the main filter element. The circumferentially extending sealing device of the secondary filter element projects in a radial direction of the secondary filter element outwardly past an interior of the main filter element.
