A filter element has a fold pack with a filter material folded in a zigzag shape. The fold pack has lateral fold profiles and an end fold section disposed at a head side of the fold pack. Lateral strips are attached to the lateral fold profiles of the fold pack. A seal section angularly projects at an angle away from the end fold section at the head side of the fold pack. The seal section is provided with at least one incision or cutout configured to receive a corresponding filter housing contour. A filter assembly with such a filter element is provided. The filter housing has a housing part with a filter housing contour provided with at least one engagement element. The at least one incision or cutout of the seal section receives the at least one engagement element of the filter housing contour.

The filter element has a folded filter medium and a stabilization ring attached to the filter medium and stabilizing the filter medium. The stabilization ring is arranged on the filter medium such that the stabilization ring, at least in sections, is arranged within an inflow cross section of the fluid inlet. The fluid directly flows against the filter medium in operation of the filter system.

The rib is provided with an extension portion having a length that allows the extension portion to be directly or indirectly pressed against a seal member provided at an edge of the opening portion in a state where the bezel is attached to the vehicle body-side member.

A gas turbine air intake system uses a filter element having a seal member with radial projections and radial recesses. The seal member forms a seal with components on the tube sheet of the system and at the end opposite of the tube sheet. At the end opposite of the tube sheet, there can be an assembly cover, or alternatively, an additional filter cartridge.

A filter element has a filter medium annularly surrounding a longitudinal axis of the filter element. The filter medium can be flowed through radially from an exterior to an interior and has a plurality of folds. A first end disk is arranged at a first end face of the filter element. A primary air passage and a secondary air passage are provided. The filter medium has an axial recess at the first end face. The first end disk has a channel forming the secondary air passage and extending in the axial recess. The plurality of folds include first folds in a region of the recess and second folds away from the recess. An axial length of the first folds is reduced relative to an axial length of the second folds. An air filter with such filter element and an assembly method for the air filter are provided.

The bottom lid has a carrier and a peripheral structure surrounding the carrier.
