Air Filter Element, in Particular for Gas Filtration
An air filter element has a filter medium body that has a wall to be flowed through by a fluid to be purified in a radial direction relative to a longitudinal axis of the filter medium body. The filter medium body has a first end face and an oppositely positioned second end face. The filter medium body has an elongate cross section shape with two oppositely positioned narrow sides and two oppositely positioned long sides connecting the two narrow sides. A cross section surface of the filter medium body tapers from the first end face toward the second end face. The two long sides each have an inwardly oriented radial constriction in a region of the narrow second end face, wherein, in a region of the first end face, the two long sides are formed without or at least approximately without the inwardly oriented radial constriction, respectively.

An air filter, including: an openable filter housing having an inlet for air to be cleaned, an outlet for cleaned air, a filter element exchangeably arranged with the filter housing. The filter element includes a filter medium radially surrounding and defining an interior space within the filter element and a support element secured to the filter element. The support element faces away from the filter medium and has a lateral support surface having a cylindrical section and/or a section with a cross section that changes in the direction of the element axis, whose main axis runs axially or parallel to the element axis and with which the support element is supported at least transversely to the element axis against a corresponding support section arranged on a side of the filter housing.
FILTER WITH PERFORATED END CAP AND PRE-FORMED GASKET CAPPING PERFORATIONS
An air filter, an air filter assembly, and method of installing the air filter into a housing of the air filter assembly are provided. The air filter includes an attachment portion and a lock tab. The lock tab is carried by and resiliently moveable relative to the attachment portion. The lock tab is located radially outward from the attachment portion and movable circumferentially about a central axis of the air filter. Another feature relates to using an end stop in a housing as a catch. Yet another feature relates to using a perforated end cap and capping such perforations with a housing seal.
MULTI-MODAL MULTI-MEDIA AIR FILTRATION SYSTEM
A multi-modal multi-media air filtration system which can include: a base having one or more connection features and a filter media assembly, the filter media assembly being configured to attach to the base portion at a first end. The filter media assembly can then also include a first filter media extending across a first air flow path and a second filter media extending across a second air flow path. The air filtration assembly can then also include an actuation assembly configured to selectively open or close one of the first air flow path or the second air flow path so as to alternate the degree of filtration passing through the filter media assembly based on the degree of filtration provided by the first or second filter media.

A vacuum cleaning apparatus may include a debris container and a filtering system. The debris container may define a debris collection chamber and include a dirty air inlet and a clean air outlet. The filtering system may be at least partially disposed in the debris collection chamber, and may include a fluff screen and a fluff screen cover defining a cavity for receiving at least a portion of the fluff screen. The fluff screen and the fluff screen cover may both include tapered outer surfaces. The tapered outer surfaces may have opposing tapers.
Round Filter Element Having a Longitudinally Extending Cross-Sectional Shape
A round filter element has a filter medium body with a wall to be flowed through by a fluid to be purified radially relative to a longitudinal axis of the filter medium body. The filter medium body has a longitudinally extending cross-sectional shape in a direction transverse to the longitudinal axis. The filter medium body has a first end face and a second end that are axially oppositely positioned relative to each other in a direction along the longitudinal axis of the filter medium body. A first end disk and a second end disk are arranged at the first and second end faces, respectively, and have the same cross-sectional shape. The filter medium body has a twist by being twisted about the longitudinal axis such that the axially oppositely positioned first and second end faces of the filter medium body are angularly displaced relative to each other.
VACUUM CLEANER
Disclosed is a vacuum cleaner. In the disclosed vacuum cleaner, a dust container includes a casing which has one open side and in which a suction port is formed in a circumferential surface of the casing, a filter unit which is provided in the casing, allows air introduced through the suction port to pass, and filters out foreign matter contained in the air, and an inlet guide member which is provided on an inner surface of the casing corresponding to one edge of the suction port so that the air introduced through the suction port generates a vortex to guide foreign matter having a predetermined size or larger among the foreign matter to fall to an inner bottom of the casing and to guide foreign matter attached to a surface of the filter unit to be detached.
PULSE FILTER WITH INTEGRAL SUPPORT
A filter element includes a tube of filter media, a first end cap and a second end cap. The tube of filter media extends between a first end and a second end. The tube of filter media has a cylindrical outer periphery and defines a central cavity. The first end cap is secured to the first end of the tube of filter media. The first end cap includes a first aperture having a first diameter. The second end cap is secured to the second end of the tube of filter media. The second end cap includes an attachment region adjacent the second end of the filter media and a first central hub positioned radially inward of the attachment region. The first central hub defines a second aperture having a second diameter. The second diameter is smaller than the first diameter. DIVIDED FLOW GUIDING DEVICE, KIT COMPRISING BASE BODY AND END PIECE OF A FLOW GUIDING DEVICE, FILTER UNIT AND METHOD FOR CLEANING
The present application relates to a filter cartridge for removing impurities from a dirty gas flow to be filtered, including a cylindrical filter element made from filter material, a filter insert inserted in the filter element, an inner space formed between the filter element and the filter insert, with the filter material being designed for being cleaned when a compressed air flow is applied against a flow direction of the dirty gas flow, and a base body of a flow guiding device having a surface designed for guiding the compressed air flow, wherein the base body has a distal end zone which is prepared for being completed by an end piece separate from the filter cartridge and mountable to an external housing for flow guiding the compressed air flow. Further, the present application relates to a kit, a filter unit, and a method for cleaning the filter cartridge.
FILTER ELEMENT
A filter element for fluids, in particular for hydraulic fluid, has a foldable filter casing (10) with at least one filter layer (18, 20, 22, 24) extending between two end caps (26, 32). To vary in regions the thickness of the filter casing (10), the height (h.sub.1) of each filter fold (12, 44) increases from one end cap (26) to the other end cap (32). Alternatively, with the filter fold height (h.sub.1) being maintained, the outer diameter (40) of the filter casing (10) varies in the direction of one of the end caps (26, 32).
