INTERFACE AIR FILTER AND ASSEMBLY

An interface air filter and assembly for use with an internal combustion engine is disclosed. The assembly has a housing having an air intake port and an opening. There is an air filter assembly comprising an air filter having a closed end and an open end and a reducing coupling. The reducing coupling has a first end with a first engaging member having an external circumference and outer surface, a second end with a second engaging member having an external circumference less than the first engaging member external circumference, and the second engaging member has an inner surface. The first end of the reducing coupling is attached to the open end of the air filter. The air filter assembly is in contact with the housing such that the air filter resides within the housing and the outer surface of the first engaging member engages the housing. The inner surface of the second engaging member is adapted to contact an air intake tube outer surface so that air can pass from the air intake port into the housing then through the air filter and into the air intake tube.

AIR CLEANER

An operation mode of an air cleaner is changed according to the degree of indoor air contamination and an indoor space condition, and one or more filters of the air cleaner can be easily cleaned. The air cleaner includes a housing, an inlet located at a lower part of the housing, a filter assembly, an outlet, and a brush unit. The filter assembly is located above the inlet, and a diameter of the filter assembly is gradually shortened in the direction from an upper part of the filter assembly to a lower part of the filter assembly. The discharge port is located above a second filter assembly. The brush unit is used to eliminate contaminants from an outer surface of the filter assembly.

Air cleaner; replaceable filter cartridges; and, methods

The disclosure concerns air cleaners. Preferred air cleaners are shown which include a housing and a removable and replacement primary filter cartridge. Optional and advantageous features are shown. The preferred primary filter cartridge is conical in shape. A preferred optional safety or secondary filter cartridge is shown. Preferred methods of assembly and use are provided.

Filter insert for a filter device

A filter insert for a filter device, having a filter element arranged on a longitudinal axis extending there through and a front-side flow opening arranged on the front side of the filter element with the longitudinal axis extending through the flow opening. The filter element has, with respect to the longitudinal axis, at least one flattened portion with a reduced radial extension or a through hole along the periphery of the flow opening the shortest interior distance in the filter element immediately adjacent to the front-side flow opening is shorter than the inside diameter of the front-side flow opening.

A filter element of an air filter, including: a filter medium for filtering air, partially surrounding an element interior of the filter element with respect to an element axis; wherein the filter element replaceably arranged within an openable filter housing having at least one inlet for air to be purified and at least one outlet for purified air so that said filter element separates said inlet from said outlet; wherein the filter element has at least one element-side support element on an outer side facing away from the element interior on at least one end face which is axial with respect to the element axis; wherein the support element includes at least one element supporting portion, which, at least in the installed state of the filter element in the filter housing, has a surface contour deviating from a flat surface on its end face facing away from the element interior.

Low-Profile, High-Pressure Dust Separator and Collector

A compact dust separator and collector employs a generally cylindrical separator section having a inlet tube where air and entrained dust particles enters the separator section, a top plate with a vortex tube extending downward, and a separator baffle plate disposed at a lower end of said separator section below a lower end of the vortex tube. The baffle plate has peripheral geometry that defines a peripheral gap from the cylindrical separator section wall, with the gap increasing in width in the direction of air flow. There is a blower and filter section above the separator section and a collection section below. The vortex tube can have a cylindrical mesh extending down to the baffle plate, which may have a self-emptying dust cup.

Air compressor dryer filter

An air compressor system having a refrigerated dryer and a form of a filter is used between a compressor of the air compressor system and the refrigerated dryer. The filter can include a conical shape such as frustoconical, and includes an outer retainer having a plurality of openings and an inner mesh filter. The retainer and mesh filter can be made out of metal. An end cap and a flange can close off both ends of the conical shape, and a handle can extend from a flange to aid in ease of handling. The components extending between the ends (i.e. between the end cap and flange) may only include the retainer and the mesh filter.

VACUUM WITH INTEGRATED FILTER CLEANING DEVICE

A vacuum cleaner and filter cleaning system includes a filter cleaning mechanism which allows the filter to be cleaned without removal from the vacuum. Operation of the filter cleaning mechanism both flows air backwards through the filter and strikes the filter to more effectively clean the vacuum filter. The vacuum allows for filter cleaning and debris disposal without significant interruption of the use of the vacuum cleaner.
