A gas-permeable well for use with a bioreactor may include a reinforced gas-permeable membrane. The gas-permeable membrane may include an integrated reinforcing structure such as a stainless steel mesh or perforated screen, and may include an integrated gasket or O-ring, or other regions of increased thickness. A sensor brought into close proximity to the reinforced gas-permeable membrane may take an indirect measurement of a condition of process medium on the other side of the gas-permeable membrane, such as a measurement of dissolved oxygen or carbon dioxide.

A membrane humidifier has multiple stacking units mounted one on top of the other, where an individual stacking unit includes a flow plate and diffusion unit, where a circumference of the diffusion unit is formed by two oppositely situated first edge sides and two oppositely situated second edge sides. The diffusion unit includes: a top layer on a top side of the diffusion unit, a bottom layer on a bottom side of the diffusion unit, a moisture-permeable membrane, two oppositely situated upper receiving elements at the two first edge sides, on the top side of the diffusion unit, and two oppositely situated lower receiving elements at the two second edge sides, on the bottom side of the diffusion unit, where the flow plate of the stacking unit is inserted into the two lower receiving elements, and where the next stacking unit is inserted into the two upper receiving elements.
Filtration filter
A filtration filter comprises a metallic mesh having a circumferential shape and radially inner and outer portions. The metallic mesh is adapted to filter out a filtration target object contained in a fluid passing through the membrane. First and second frame members hold the outer portion there between so as to create first and second bent sections separated by a transition section extending between the first and second bent sections. The transition section includes at least one streaked projection.

The plate-type filter module for water treatment according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a plurality of filter units having a predetermined area and formed in a plate shape; a block frame to which the plurality of filter units is engaged so that the filter units are kept parallel to each other; and a collecting/receiving tube fixed on one side of the block frame and including a plurality of first fittings respectively connected to the plurality of the filter units to allow filtered water produced in the filter units to be introduced thereinto and at least one second fitting for discharging the filtered water introduced through the plurality of first fittings to the outside.

In order to ensure an optimal function of the hollow-fibre film bundle and the bubble-retaining filter, it is proposed that a gas-permeable retaining structure is arranged between hollow-fibre film bundle and bubble-retaining filter.
Ceramic Membrane Filtration Assembly with Multi Port Endcap and Related Methods
A ceramic membrane filtration assembly includes a housing and a membrane assembly. The membrane assembly includes at least one membrane with channels therein. A first inner end cap device is disposed within the housing and is coupled with the membrane assembly. The housing has a bypass near an outer perimeter of the first inner end cap device, the first inner end cap device has an inner port, the inner port fluidly coupled with the channels of the membrane, where the bypass includes a space between the housing and the first inner end cap device. A first outer end cap device is coupled with the first inner end cap device; the first outer end cap device has a first port and a second port, where the first port is fluidly separate from the second port, and the first port is fluidly coupled with the inner port.

A membrane holder for hollow fibre membranes, in particular for applying in a tube filter, includes a central pipe having spaced apart bands of inlet openings formed along a circumference of the central pipe to flow liquid through the central pipe, holding elements arranged around the central pipe, which holding elements have radially extending wall parts distributed along the circumference of the central pipe, and closing parts extending between the free ends of the radially extending wall parts for confining a bundle of hollow fibre membranes between two adjacent radially extending wall parts and a closing part, and deflector plates concentrically arranged around and spaced apart from the central pipe and, when viewed in radial direction, covering the bands of inlet openings.
