Patient mobility system with integrated ambulation device
A patient mobility system for early patient ambulation. An ambulation device having a barrier is removably coupled to a patient support apparatus such that, in a coupled configuration, the barrier prevents patient egress from the patient support apparatus. The ambulation device configured to provide support to a patient during ambulation away from the patient support apparatus. Each of the patient support apparatus and the ambulation device can comprise a lift device operably controlled by a controller to maintain or control relative positioning of the patient support surface and the barrier in the coupled configuration. The lift device of the ambulatory device can comprise a gas spring having locking element. The ambulation device can comprise patient carrier removably coupled to a patient carrier mount. The patient carrier is configured to cooperate with the barrier to support the patient above a floor surface in a seated position.
System and handling method to facilitate the maintenance of a bed unit, in particular a healthcare bed
Disclosed is a handling system that makes it possible to place a wheeled sleeping unit, particularly a hospital bed, in a high position for a maintenance operation. The system includes a supporting device that is slidably mounted along a guide assembly and is provided with a receiving assembly that is hinged onto one or more vertical slidable portions of the device that are adjacent to a raising area. A sleeping unit can be placed in the area, above a lifting portion defined by the receiving assembly, and a longitudinal side of the unit can be positioned against an abutment surface of the assembly. The receiving assembly includes a holding element that fits into the top of the unit so as to lock the positioning of the unit in the receiving assembly, which makes it possible to change the orientation of the unit after a raising phase.
Convertible chair bed device
A convertible chair bed device. The convertible chair bed device includes a frame assembly, having a left bar support and a right bar support, configured to support a plurality of cross bars. The frame assembly is sized to accept a padded base between the left bar support and the right bar support, and the padded base includes a first section pivotally attached to a second section. During use, an individual seated on the padded base, such as a handicapped individual, is able to grip and move any of the plurality of cross bars to independently transition between a seated position and a supine position.
Care bed
A care bed includes a bed body provided with a groove and a wheelchair disposed in the groove. The wheelchair includes: a wheelchair support sequentially provided with a wheelchair back plate, a seat plate, a leg plate and a foot plate, and the seat plate is fixed to the wheelchair support; a double-traction lifting regulator disposed below a connection position between the wheelchair back plate and the seat plate; a locking member disposed on the double-traction lifting regulator; a first traction member connected to the locking member; and a second traction member connected to the locking member. When the wheelchair is combined with the bed body, the second traction member controls the locking member to be loosened; and when the wheelchair is separated from the bed body, the second traction member controls the locking member to be locked.
A TOILET CHAIR AND A METHOD FOR AIDING A PERSON IN GETTING UNDRESSED OR DRESSED BY MEANS OF A TOILET CHAIR
Disclosed is a toilet chair (1) comprising a chair back (2) including a head part (3) and a bottom part (4) and a seat (5) comprising a front part (6) and a rear part (8), wherein the seat (5) further comprises a toilet opening (7) through which a user may go to the toilet. The bottom part (4) and the rear part (8) are arranged next to each other and the bottom part (4) is arranged to be displaceable outwards in a direction towards the front of the chair (1) and the rear part (8) is arranged to be displaceable upwards in a direction towards the front of the chair (1). Methods for aiding a person in getting undressed or dressed by means of a toilet chair (1) and use of a toilet chair (1) is also disclosed.
Convertible bed/wheelchair apparatus
A convertible bed/wheelchair apparatus is disclosed to include a first support frame; a second support frame; a first mattress frame segment; a second mattress frame segment; and a third mattress frame segment movably connected to one another; a first motor, a third motor, and a fourth motor operable to cause the first mattress support segment to turn into a footrest, and the second mattress frame segment to move on top of second supporting frame, and the third mattress frame segment to be erected vertically to become a head rest section of a wheelchair.
REMOVABLE AND CONVERTIBLE SEAT ASSEMBLY
A removable and/or mountable seat assembly includes a seat back and a seat pan that are pivotally connected to each other via a locking device and rotate about at least one common axis of rotation. The locking device is in mechanical communication with the seat back and the seat pan and is configured to lock the seat back and the seat pan relative to each other about the at least one common axis of rotation. The locking device is configured to selectively lock the seat pan and the seat back such that the seat back and the seat pan lie along the common plane forming the stretcher or selectively lock the seat pan and the seat back such that the seat back and the seat pan form a seat. Additionally, the seat back and the seat pan may be locked in yet another position allowing for the easy transport and/or storage of the seat assembly.
Dynamic furniture
A seat with a base, an actuator, at least one front boom, at least one rear boom, a seat platform, and a back platform. The actuator is circularly rotatably connected to each of the at least one front boom, the at least one rear boom, the seat platform, and the back platform. The base is circularly rotatably connected to each of the at least one front boom and the at least one rear boom.
Person support apparatus with shear-reducing pivot assembly
A person support apparatus includes a support surface for supporting a person thereon. The support surface includes at least a seat and a backrest coupled together by a pivot assembly. In some embodiments, the pivot assembly includes a backrest slide bar mounted to the backrest and a seat slide bar mounted to the seat.
