RACK DRIVEN HUMAN POWERED VEHICLE
A rack driven human powered vehicle utilizes a rack and pinion system to provide a more efficient method of propulsion. The rack and pinion system may take the linear momentum of at least one driving rack and may transfer it to rotational momentum for at least one freewheel sprocket which may turn the wheel providing momentum for the vehicle.
Transport Apparatus for a Weak Person
A transport apparatus has a mobile chassis, a lifting mechanism, two armpit supports structured and operated mirror-symmetrical to one another, and two seat assemblies. The lifting mechanism includes a lifting arm for assembling a chest rest and two lifting racks, and a linear actuator driving the lifting arm to pivot upward or downward. The armpit supports are assembled on the lifting racks and transversely extend toward a rear of the mobile chassis. The seat assemblies are assembled on the mobile chassis. Each of the seat assembly has a seat plate driven to rotate by a drive motor to form a seat. The weak person can be moved directly by the transport apparatus with voice command or with a remote control. Since the weak person is not moved by the care workers, the weak person can be moved in an easier and safer way.

MOTORIZED ACCESSORY FOR A WHEELCHAIR
A motorized accessory for a wheelchair includes a housing having a top end and a bottom end, a handlebar assembly secured to the top end of the housing, and a wheel assembly coupled to the lower end of the housing. The motorized accessory also includes an electric motor coupled to the wheel assembly that is configured to drive the wheel assembly. In addition, the motorized accessory includes a tow bar assembly having a proximate end coupled to the housing and extending outward to a free distal end, where the free distal end is configured to be removably coupled to the wheelchair. The motorized accessory is configured to latch to the manually driven wheelchair in order to convert the manually driven wheelchair into a motorized wheelchair.
WHEEL, DRIVING WHEEL, AND WHEELCHAIR
Provided is a wheel (6a) in which a disk (62) includes a first rib (62a) extending in a radial direction, and protruding out on one side in a direction of a central axis a1. A hub (61) of the wheel (6a) includes a first blade portion (61d1) extending in the radial direction. At least one of a pair of side surfaces of the first rib (62a) is inclined relative to a plane including the central axis a1 of the disk (62), and the first blade portion (61d1) is fixed to the inclined side surface on one side of the central axis a1.
Single-handedly operable wheelchair
Provided is a lightweight and inexpensive wheelchair that can be easily operated with either a right or left hand. The wheelchair according to the present invention is provided with; a pair of handrims having a first portion connected to each handrim spoke and a second portion connected to a base of each wheel; a drive mechanism for transmitting a first rotational force generated by the first portion on one side and/or another side to the wheel on the one side and the wheel on the other side, wherein the drive mechanism includes an axle on the one side, an axle on the other side connected to the axle on the one side via a rotary shaft, a first two-way clutch located on the axle on the one side, and a second two-way clutch located on the axle on the other side.
External structural brace apparatus
An external structural brace apparatus for supporting a user in a semi standing position on a surface includes first and second support extension beams that to attach to the surface, also included is a channel having a base with first and second legs, wherein the first and second legs extend in the same direction from opposing sides of the base, the first leg is affixed to the first support structure and the second leg is affixed to the second support structure, the channel can be lockably positioned along the first and second beams. In addition, a saddle seat with a midpoint extension portion, the saddle is attached between the first and second legs and positioned such that the midpoint extension extends opposite of the base, wherein operationally the user partially rests their buttocks on the saddle and leans their back against the base to assume a semi supported standing posture.
MECHANICAL WHEELCHAIR DRIVE AND WHEELCHAIR HAVING SUCH A MECHANICAL WHEELCHAIR
The invention relates to a mechanical wheelchair drive, comprising a rotatably mounted lever, a handle fastened to the lever, and a force transfer unit for transferring rotational motion of the lever to a wheelchair wheel, wherein the lever has a variable length and is guided along a closed guide of a guide plate, said guide deviating from the circular form, such that the length of the lever changes during the rotational motion.
Manual movable body with wheels
A manual movable body with wheels 10 which can be moved by manually rotating the wheels, comprising an upper body frame 12 supporting a heavy goods, a pair of travelling wheels 18, each of which is provided on the corresponding side of a lower body frame 14 which is not in contact with upper body frame 12, and is rotationally supported by a first horizontal rotation shaft 16 extending in the widthwise direction of the lower body frame 14, and a pair of abutting rollers, each of which is mounted on upper body frame 12, and is rotationally supported by a second horizontal rotation shaft extending in the widthwise direction of the upper body frame 12.
