A flower bed system includes an elongated frame having a first side bar and second side bar in a longitudinal direction thereof, a first and a second riser removably attached to the first and second side bar, respectively, the first riser having a first notch away from the first side bar by a predetermined distance and the second riser having a second notch away from the second side bar by approximately the same predetermined distance, and a flowerpot holder having a first and second pin rigidly protruding from opposite sides thereof, respectively, the first and the second pin being substantially aligned in an axial line transverse a center of the flowerpot holder, wherein the first and second pin removably rest in the first and second notch, respectively, so that the flowerpot holder can rotate freely around the axial line.

One of the links is a bottom link of the robot arm which forms a base. The first high-bay rack has a first robot arm carrier with a first coupling device which, in a state in which the robot arm is coupled to the first robot arm carrier, interacts with a counter-coupling device of the bottom link of the robot arm in such a way that, in a first configuration of the logistics system, the bottom link of the robot arm is connected to the first robot arm carrier in an automatically locked and automatically releasable manner. The further high-bay rack has a further robot arm carrier with a further coupling device which, in a state in which the robot arm is coupled to the further robot arm carrier, interacts with the counter-coupling device of the bottom link of the robot arm in such a way that, in a second configuration of the logistics system, which is different from the first configuration, the bottom link of the robot arm is connected to the further robot arm carrier in an automatically locked and automatically releasable manner.

The present invention is a modular wall including a base and a support structure. The support structure is secured to the base with retractable supports. The support structure may be removed from the base, allowing a user to easily move the wall in separate parts. Furthermore, the modular wall includes a decorative panel held up by the support structure. The decorative panel may have flowers attached creating a wall of flowers, or a painted-on decoration. More than one modular wall may be used together to create a wider decorative wall.

A plant hanger assembly having multiple level plant trays, useful for growing plants in an upright configuration is provided for use with a trolley conveyor. A plurality of plant trays of selected size and shape are provided spaced apart along a vertical axis. A vertical support shaft has an upper end and a lower end. The plant trays may be circular in shape, with sloping sidewalls. The sloping sidewalls may be angled out sufficiently that the plant trays can be stacked in a nested configuration for storage. The plant trays include a base having grooved channels for transfer of water on the obverse side, and reinforcing ribs for strength, on the reverse side. Apertures between the obverse side and the reverse side allow excess water in an upper plant tray to drain downward into a plant tray therebelow. Shaft couplers are provided, with attachment rings or pins, to securely join the plant trays to the vertical support shaft. The plant hangers are adapted for attachment to and use with a trolley conveyor in a plant factory.

The system may include at least one light, at least one liquid conduit, and at least one gas conduit. The system may include at least one robot disposed on a top side of the frame and movably supported by the frame. The at least one robot may include at least one tool configured to manipulate the plurality of vertical plant growth structures. The system may include a control system including at least one processor configured to automatically control illumination by the at least one light, liquid flow through the at least one liquid conduit, gas flow through the at least one gas conduit, and operation of the at least one robot.
