Modular power base arrangement
A wheelchair assembly including a control device, a power base, and a plurality of leg modules coupled to the power base is disclosed. Each of a first, a second, and a third leg module may include an upper leg assembly and a lower leg assembly. Each lower leg assembly may include a knee joint and a foot joint and each lower leg assembly may rotatably couple to each upper leg assembly at the knee joint. A knee wheel located at the knee joint of each lower leg assembly, may include an omni-directional wheel, and may be selectively drivable. A foot wheel located at the foot joint of each lower leg assembly may be selectively drivable. The control device, based on a selectable mode of operation, may selectively position at least one of the knee wheel or the foot wheel associated with each respective leg module relative to a surface.
FOLDING ELECTRIC WHEELCHAIR
A folding electric wheelchair that provides the user an electronic driving system powered by two lithium-ion batteries that is sealed to be weatherproof, able to drive over different terrain types and slope grades on any given day whether it's raining or sunny, lightweight and portable for transportation, travel-friendly, compact in overall size when in the folded position to fit into a small space for storage. An ergonomically contoured seating that includes a bump dampening and terrain vibration system with the supporting frame pieces (34), (42), and (50) having an oval shape. The manner of how the embodiment operates to fold and unfold consists of eight specific hinge joint embodiments including: (30), (32), (38), (40), (46), (48), (58) and (64).

Vehicle wheel assembly
A disclosed vehicle wheel assembly includes a plurality of wheels, a plurality of rotary drive modules each having a respective rotation axis, and a plurality of rotatable arms, wherein each arm is arranged to extend radially from a rotation axis of a respective rotary drive module to couple the respective rotary drive module to a respective wheel. Each rotary drive module is operable to drive rotation of a respective rotatable arm about the rotation axis of the drive module, to thereby rotate a respective wheel about the rotation axis. A control module can sense stepped terrain, and control each rotary drive module to enable a vehicle to travel over the stepped terrain.
Wheelchair suspension
Wheeled vehicles, such as wheelchairs, that are adapted to traverse obstacles are provided. The wheeled vehicles include a frame, drive wheels, front anti-tip wheels positioned in front of the drive wheels and rear anti-tip wheels positioned behind the drive wheels. One exemplary vehicle includes front anti-tip wheels supported by rigid arms that are fixed to the frame and drive assemblies that are independently suspended from the frame. Another exemplary vehicle includes a linkage that links the front and rear anti-tip wheels, such that movement of one of the front or rear anti-tip wheel relative to the frame causes movement of the other wheel relative to the frame.

RIDE VEHICLE PASSENGER TRANSFER SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A passenger transfer system in accordance with present embodiments includes a mobile chair having a base portion with a plurality of wheels and a chair portion configured to support a passenger. The passenger transfer system further includes an elevation adjustment system and a transfer device. The elevation adjustment system is configured to adjust a height of the chair portion relative to the base portion. The transfer device is configured to extend laterally from an edge of the chair portion. The transfer device is further configured to support the passenger as the passenger transfers from the chair portion to a ride seat of a ride vehicle of an attraction of an amusement park.
WHEEL WITH MOVABLE ELEMENTS
A wheel includes a supporting frame, with a central portion having a center around which the wheel can turn, and a plurality of radial portions extending from the central portion angularly displaced with each other. A housing seat is delimited between two adjacent radial portions. A movable element is radially displaceable between a first working position located at a maximum distance with respect to the center, and a second working position located at a minimum distance with respect to the center of the central portion. The radial portions and the movable element have respective distal sections, with respect to the center, curved with a curvature radius corresponding to the curvature radius of the wheel and being flush with each other. A locking element is displaceable between one locking position, wherein it abuts on the movable element and prevents the radial displacement thereof, and one unlocking position, wherein it allows the radial displacement of the movable element toward the second working position. A returning element of the movable element between the supporting frame and the movable element is configured to bring the movable element back into the first working position. A band made of an elastically deformable material surrounds the distal sections of the plurality of radial portions and the movable element, at the circular perimeter of the wheel.
