System for Introducing Gas into a Gas Grid Pipeline
A system for introducing gas from an unconventional source into a gas grid pipeline includes a passive blender (10) that introduces gas from an unconventional source (1) into a gas grid (2), the passive blender (10) having gas inputs (3, 11) from the unconventional source (1) and the gas grid (2) and a blended gas output (12), and wherein an internal flow path within the passive blender (10) is shaped and sized to provide entraining and mixing of the gases. The passive blender (10) acts to entrain gas from a gas grid (2) through input (11) by utilising the flow of gas from an unconventional source (1) through input 3, proportionally blending inputs 3 and 11 before outputting the blended gas back to the main gas grid (2). The system comprises the passive blender (10) of the present invention, a first gas input pipe (11) from a grid gas pipeline (2) into the passive blender (10) a second gas input pipe (3) from the unconventional source (1) into the passive blender (1), and an output pipe (12) from the passive blender (10) into the grid gas pipeline (2). The blender (10) and system of the present invention are advantageous in that they can greatly reduce the necessary conditioning of unconventional gas before it is introduced into a gas grid supply (2) without additional means of flow motivation or controls.

The mixer is configured to direct exhaust gas from the conduit, into an engine air intake system. The mixer is arranged with an exhaust gas mixing volute chamber having a plurality of mixing vanes configured to direct the exhaust gas into a central intake airflow upstream of an intake manifold.
Engines Including Air-Separation Emissions Mitigation Systems and Methods for Operating the Same
A method for operating an internal combustion engine includes passing air to a separation unit, separating the air into a nitrogen-enriched air stream and an oxygen-enriched air stream with the separation unit, passing the nitrogen-enriched air stream to a mixing chamber in communication with the separation unit, detecting a nitrogen content within the nitrogen-enriched air stream, based at least in part on the detected nitrogen content within the nitrogen-enriched air stream, moving an air valve between a closed position, in which the air valve restricts flow of an air stream to the mixing chamber, and an open position, in which the air stream flows to the mixing chamber through the air valve, passing the nitrogen-enriched air stream to a combustion chamber, passing a fuel to the combustion chamber, and combusting the fuel and the nitrogen-enriched air stream within the combustion chamber, thereby moving a piston within the combustion chamber.
Gas mixer and gas mixing system
A gas mixer for mixing a first gas and a second gas, having a first, outer gas housing part, having an inlet for the first gas in a longitudinal axis and an inlet for the second gas in a transverse axis, a second, interior gas housing part set into the first gas housing part to form an annular space for a second gas, having a mixing space into which the first gas and the second gas are introduced for mixing. The first and second gas housing parts and the annular space are aligned along the longitudinal axis and the mixing space is aligned cylindrically along the longitudinal axis. A mixing device having a plurality of hollow rods is arranged in the mixing space. A hollow space of a hollow rod is in fluid communication on both sides with the annular space. The number of hollow rods extends transverse to the longitudinal axis and the transverse axis and at least one hollow rod has a plurality of openings for the second gas, so that the hollow space is in fluid communication with the cylindrical mixing space.

The fuel supply module includes: a water vapor storage for storing water vapor therein; a fuel storage for storing fuel therein; a mixer having a first inlet, a second inlet, and an outlet; a first inlet pipe for connecting the water vapor storage and the first inlet of the mixer with each other; a second inlet pipe for connecting the fuel storage and the second inlet of the mixer with each other; an outlet pipe connected to the outlet of the mixer; and a bypass pipe having one end connected to the first inlet pipe and the other end connected to the outlet pipe.
EXHAUST GAS DIFFUSING DEVICE
An exhaust gas diffusing device includes an outside air mixing cylinder with an inner diameter larger than an outer diameter of a discharge-side end portion of an exhaust pipe to send out exhaust gas of an engine of a vehicle, the outside air mixing cylinder positioned to receive the exhaust gas from the exhaust pipe and to receive outside air to be mixed with the exhaust gas, and at least one air director at a position on the outside air mixing cylinder upstream in a direction in which the exhaust gas flows or in the exhaust pipe to promote the mixing.
Methods and apparatus comprising a first conduit circumscribed by a second conduit
A fluid distributor comprises a first conduit extending along a first elongated axis and a second conduit circumscribing the first conduit. A first area comprises a cross-sectional flow area of the first conduit taken perpendicular to the first elongated axis.
