LOW PRESSURE FLUCTUATION FLOW CONTROL APPARATUS AND METHOD
This invention provides apparatuses and methods to supply a steady volume of liquid with low pressure fluctuation that can be used to form a liquid blend or to supply other equipment or tools. The invention uses a flow controller that controls the flow rate for liquid that is fed to a liquid supply pipe from a recirculation loop that is connected thereto, the recirculation loop has a dip tube for insertion into a liquid supply container, pump, and liquid backpressure control device.
Multi-bed reactor with mixing device
A mixing device mounted between two catalyst beds in a multi-bed catalytic reactor with a cylindrical shape. The mixing device has a circular outer rim which corresponds to the inner wall of the reactor, and includes a collecting section for collecting fluid from an up-stream catalytic bed, a mixing section for mixing the collected fluid, and a discharging section for discharging the mixed fluid to a down-stream catalytic bed. The collecting section, the mixing section and the discharging section are disposed outside the center of the circular cross-section of the reactor.

Disclosed is a system for mixing gases and liquids that includes a reactor vessel and an injection assembly. The reactor vessel including a liquid inlet which receives a predetermined amount of liquid and at least one gas inlet which receives a precise amount of a gas. The reactor vessel also includes means for creating cavitation or turbulence for mixing the gas and liquid to a desired gas concentration.

[Abstract] A production apparatus for a liquid containing gas bubbles according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a casing and a shearing mechanism unit. The casing includes an inlet, into which a liquid with a gas injected therein flows, and an outlet. The shearing mechanism unit is provided between the inlet and the outlet and applies shearing force to a liquid flowing to the outlet from the inlet. The shearing mechanism unit includes a rotor, a rotation applying unit, and a facing member. The rotor includes a rotary shaft and a tube portion having an outer peripheral portion including a first structure surface in which a plurality of recess portions is formed, and is rotatably disposed inside the casing. The rotation applying unit is provided in the rotary shaft and applies rotating force around the rotary shaft to the rotor. The facing member has an inner peripheral portion that faces the first structure surface via a predetermined clearance and is provided in an inner wall portion of the casing.
Gas dissolution supply apparatus and gas dissolution supply method
A gas dissolution supply apparatus dissolves a gas supplied from a gas supply unit in a liquid supplied from a liquid supply unit to produce a gas dissolution in a gas dissolving unit, stores the gas dissolution produced in the gas dissolving unit in a gas dissolution tank, supplies the gas dissolution from the gas dissolution tank to a point of use, measures the flow rate of a part of the gas dissolution supplied to the point of use that is returned to the gas dissolving unit, and adjusts the flow rate of the liquid supplied from the liquid supply unit to the gas dissolving unit based on the result of the measurement.

A system and method of injecting a gas enriched and/or emulsified first liquid into a second liquid is disclosed. The injection can cause generation of a high density of bubbles having a mean diameter of a selected size. The mean diameter of the bubbles can be selected and varied based on the characteristics of the injection system.
Hydroponic system and method for enriching a liquid with gas-bubbles
In one configuration, a hydroponic system for enriching a liquid with gas-bubbles is disclosed. The system may include at least one reservoir configured to temporarily store the gas-bubble enriched liquid. Each of the at least one reservoir may include an associated inlet port and an associated outlet port fluidically coupled with each other via a liquid-flow line. The system includes one or more pumps configured to cause movement of the liquid along the liquid-flow line, a gas supply feeding a gas (in one configuration, oxygen from a gas concentrator), and a gas-bubble generator provided on the liquid-flow line. The gas-bubble generator may be fluidically coupled to the gas supply to receive gas from the gas supply. The gas-bubble generator may be configured to generate a plurality of individual gas-bubbles of the gas received from the gas supply and mix with the liquid stream flowing via the gas-bubble generator.
Apparatus for producing aqueous pH- and redox potential-adjusting solution
An apparatus has a platinum group metal carrying resin column provided in a supply line of ultrapure water, and has a pH adjuster injection device and a redox potential adjuster injection device provided in a later stage thereof. The apparatus has a membrane-type deaeration apparatus and a gas dissolving membrane apparatus sequentially provided in a later stage of the devices, and a discharge line communicates with the gas dissolving membrane apparatus. A pH meter and an ORP meter are each provided at some midpoint in the discharge line, and the pH meter and the ORP meter are connected to a control device. Then, the control device controls the amount of adjusters to be injected from the pH adjuster injection device and the redox potential adjuster injection device, on the basis of the measurement results of the pH meter and the ORP meter.

The present invention relates to an apparatus for mixing an additive with a gas flow, in particular for an exhaust gas system of a vehicle having an internal combustion engine, that comprises a mixing chamber which can be flowed through by at least a portion of the gas flow, said mixing chamber having at least one inlet opening through which a main inlet flow of the gas flow flows into the mixing chamber on operation of the apparatus, having at least one metering opening and having at least one outlet opening. The apparatus further comprises a metering device by means of which an additive flow of the additive can be introduced into the mixing chamber through the metering opening, wherein the inlet opening and the metering opening are arranged and formed such that the main inlet flow and the additive flow in substantially opposite directions into the mixing chamber so that the main inlet flow and the additive flow impact one another.

The system has an eductor to mix a liquid stream and a gas stream to a form of a liquid-gas mixture and a mixing column with a stack of filling layers to reduce a size of gas bubbles within the liquid-gas mixture. The stack of filling layers has a plurality of porous layers separated alternately by plate layers and ring layers.
