Multifunctional animal exposure experimental device
A multifunctional animal exposure experimental device is provided. A multi-route transmission system is provided in an aerosol exposure system; an environmental temperature compensation system is provided in a biosafety system; an aerosol generation module communicates with a mixing chamber; the mixing chamber and a donor animal chamber alternatively communicate with a recipient animal chamber through an aerosol particle size screening module; an aerosol sampling system is connected to a sampling port of the mixing chamber, a sampling port of the donor animal chamber and a sampling port of the recipient animal chamber; an outlet of the constant temperature and humidity air producing device communicates with a first adjustment air inlet of the mixing chamber or a second adjustment air inlet of the donor animal chamber. This device enables quantification of transmission risks via different routes under controlled environmental conditions.

FLUID TREATMENT APPARATUS AND PROCESSES
A fluid treatment apparatus is described. The fluid treatment apparatus includes: (i) a pulverizer designed to pulverize solids present in a fluid flow to produce pulverized solids admixed with the fluid flow; (ii) a rotatable shaft for rotating the pulverized solids and the fluid flow; (iii) a restrictor or filter for retaining a first portion of the pulverized solids, and allowing a second portion of pulverized solids and a second portion of the fluid flow to pass therethrough; and (iv) a first recirculating line configured to receive the first portion of the pulverized solids and a first portion of the fluid flow that did not pass through the restrictor or the filter.
METHOD OF ISOLATING THEACRINE AND COMPOSITION COMPRISING THEACRINE
Disclosed are improved methods for producing solid powdered theacrine compositions that are virtually flavorless and improved theacrine compositions.
Manufacturing of bupivacaine multivesicular liposomes
Embodiments of the present application relate to compositions bupivacaine multivesicular liposomes (MVLs) prepared by a commercial manufacturing process with large particle diameter span.
Method for preparing microcarrier suitable for three-dimensional cell culture and reaction apparatus
Provided herein is a method for preparing microcarrier particles, comprising the steps of allowing the dispersed phase liquid flow through a multi-hole plate at a low temperature to form liquid microspheres in a continuous phase, and enabling a synthetic polymer and/or natural biological macromolecules within the liquid microspheres to be subject to a curing reaction at a low temperature to form particles. Further provided herein are the method for preparing an emulsion and an apparatus and process system for preparing microcarrier particles, which can be used for preparing emulsions and microcarrier particles on a large scale.
Manufacturing of bupivacaine multivesicular liposomes
Embodiments of the present application relate to batches of bupivacaine multivesicular liposomes (MVLs) prepared by a commercial manufacturing process using independently operating dual tangential flow filtration modules.
Agricultural sampling system and related methods
An automated computer-controlled sampling system and related methods for collecting, processing, and analyzing agricultural samples for various chemical properties such as plant available nutrients. The sampling system allows multiple samples to be processed and analyzed for different analytes or chemical properties in a simultaneous concurrent or semi-concurrent manner. Advantageously, the system can process soil samples in the as collected condition without drying or grinding. The system generally includes a sample preparation sub-system which receives soil samples collected by a probe collection sub-system and produces a slurry (i.e. mixture of soil, vegetation, and/or manure and water), and a chemical analysis sub-system which processes the prepared slurry samples for quantifying multiple analytes and/or chemical properties of the sample. The sample preparation and chemical analysis sub-systems can be used to analyze soil, vegetation, and/or manure samples.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SOLVENT MIXING IN A CHROMATOGRAPHY SYSTEM
A solvent mixing system includes a mixing tee, a centrifugal mixing path, and a low frequency blending mixer. The mixing tee has at least two solvent input ports and a solvent output port in fluid communication with one another. The centrifugal mixing path has a mixing path inlet in fluid communication with the solvent output port of the mixing tee. The centrifugal mixing path includes at least one coiled segment between the mixing path inlet and a mixing path outlet. The low frequency blending mixer is in fluid communication with the outlet of the centrifugal mixing path.
