The casing is provided with a main flow channel for a liquid, the main flow channel having a liquid inflow port and a liquid outflow port. The pump unit is disposed in the main flow channel and pumps the liquid to the liquid outflow port from the liquid inflow port. The gas bubble-mixing unit includes a first choke portion that is disposed in the main flow channel and has an inner diameter decreased and a gas supply channel that supplies the first choke portion with a gas.
Internal Swirler Tube For Exhaust Catalyst
An exhaust system assembly including a catalyst housing, a catalyst core, and a swirler tube positioned inside the catalyst housing. The swirler tube has a plurality of openings that permit radial exhaust flow into an inner volume of the swirler tube from the catalyst housing. One end of the swirler tube has blades that extend inward and include oblique surfaces arranged at oblique angles relative to a centerline axis of the swirler tube. These blades induce a vortex in the exhaust gases exiting the first swirler tube end. The swirler tube is arranged inside the catalyst housing such that a sequential flow path is created where the exhaust gases flowing through the catalyst housing must first pass through the openings in the swirler tube and then by the blades at the first swirler tube end.
Mixer arrangement and a method of mixing for after-treatment of exhaust gas
A mixer arrangement for aftertreatment of exhaust gas including a housing configured to form a cavity including a center flow channel in which the exhaust gas flows; and at least one side inlet arrangement configured to allow the exhaust gas to enter the center flow channel from the sides thereof and configured to cause an advancing center flow in the center flow channel and a rotating flow around or on the edges of the center flow in the center flow channel; wherein the at least one side inlet arrangement contains at least a pair of side inlet pipes on the side of the center flow channel.
APPARATUSES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR STORING, MIXING, AND DELIVERING SLURRIES
A piping manifold that combines multiple solids fluidizers with a common motive fluid connection and a common slurry discharge connection. The manifold utilizes flexible pipe materials to connect the individual fluidizer feed and discharge connections to a distribution and a collection hub that are combined into a single structure with a common dividing plate between the distribution and collection chambers. An adjustable support structure that allows adjustable positioning of the individual fluidizers without customized design, manufacturing or modification of the manifold.
Mixer
A mixer for an exhaust system of an internal combustion engine includes a mixer housing (40) with an inflow opening central axis (LE) and with an outflow opening (38). A first flow duct (48) following the inflow opening (24) in the mixer housing (40) and a second flow duct (50) lead parallel to one another to a third flow duct (54) and open into same. The third flow duct (54) leads to the outflow opening (38). The first flow duct (48) and the second flow duct (50) are provided between an outer wall (16) of the mixer housing (40) and a flow divider wall (36) enclosed by the outer wall (16), and the third flow duct (54) is enclosed by the flow divider wall (36).
System for mixing a liquid spray into a gaseous flow and exhaust aftertreatment device comprising same
A spray/gas mixer includes a main body having a circumferential wall defining an inlet opening at one end and an outlet opening at another end; a divider baffle within the main body; a swirl duct having a first end adjacent to the wall and a second end extending to the divider baffle; an injector orifice at the first end of the swirl duct; a swirl promoting means; and a restrictor. The swirl promoting means is arranged between the divider baffle and the restrictor. Gas passing through the swirl promoting means is swirled around the first longitudinal axis (A) before passing through the restrictor. The restrictor is disposed between the swirl promoting means and the second end, forcing gas reaching it from an upstream side away from a peripheral region of the interior towards a center axis of the main body.
STATIC MIXER FOR EXHAUST GAS DUCTS OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINES, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THEREOF AND EXHAUST UNIT INCORPORATING THE MIXER
A static mixer for exhaust gas ducts of internal combustion engines includes an elongated hollow metal body having a shape which, relative to a symmetry axis, substantially corresponds to a solid of revolution defining at its inside a cavity having opposite bases, at least one of which has an axial opening, and a closed lateral wall connecting the opposite bases and having at least one radial opening over which a concave blade is arranged extending radially outward from a portion of the peripheral edge of the radial opening and surrounding a portion of the radial opening so as to define, in a first angular direction relative to the symmetry axis, a corresponding concave screen or spoon and, in a second, opposite direction, a mouth intended for the passage of gases and located substantially in front of the concave screen or spoon.
Quench-box assembly for hydroprocessing reactors
The invention relates to Quench box assembly comprising quench pipe and quench box, to mix quench gas and vapor-liquid effluent from previous catalyst bed to achieve equilibrium temperature before entering the next bed. The quench pipe is in the form of ring having aperture while quench box consists of swirling section and a mixing chamber. The swirling section consists of inclined baffles to provide swirling action to incoming stream and the turbulence created by the swirling action increases the heat transfer rate thus requiring the smaller reactor volume to attain equilibrium temperature. The perforated plate being open from all the sides allowing the liquid to flow uniformly from all directions thus providing uniform distribution on the distributor tray. Hence, eliminates the requirement of rough liquid distributor before the distribution tray.
Mixer
A mixer for mixing an exhaust gas flow with a fluid injected into an exhaust gas line comprises means for generating a swirl effecting a rotating flow and means for a radial displacement in the exhaust gas flow admixed with the fluid and flowing axially through the mixer. In this respect, the swirl generation means and the radial displacement means are arranged and designed such that, viewed over the cross-section of the mixer perpendicular to the axial exhaust gas flow, at least two separate swirl regions result which are built up via tangentially acting vane-like swirl elements and at least one respective radial displacement region results which is arranged between two separate swirl regions.
