APPARATUS AND SYSTEM FOR TURNING AND POSITIONING A PATIENT
A system for use with a bed having a frame and a supporting surface includes a sheet having a bottom surface placed above the supporting surface of the bed, a top surface, and a plurality of tether straps connected to and extending from the sheet. Each tether strap is configured for connection to the bed. The bottom surface is at least partially formed of a low friction material, and the top surface is at least partially formed of a high friction material, such that the top surface provides greater slipping resistance than the bottom surface. The tether straps include at least two pairs of tether straps, with one pair connected proximate a top edge of the sheet and another pair connected proximate a bottom edge of the sheet. The sheet may further include a sliding member on the bottom surface to assist in lateral sliding of the sheet.
STANDING-UP ASSIST DEVICE
A standing-up assist device including: a base portion; a shaft portion, having one end connected to the base portion, capable of moving at least up and down; a support portion provided at another end of the shaft portion; a control unit for controlling movement of the shaft portion; and a user information input unit to which information of a user is input, wherein, when a speed at which the support portion moves when the user is standing up is defined as a first moving speed, the control unit changes the first moving speed according to at least any of physical information and health information of the user, which have been input from the user information input unit.
STANDING-UP ASSIST DEVICE
A standing-up assist device including: a base portion; a shaft portion, having one end connected to the base portion, capable of moving at least up and down; a support portion provided at another end of the shaft portion; a control unit for controlling movement of the shaft portion; and a user information input unit to which information of a user is input, wherein the control unit changes a trajectory of the support portion according to health information on a predetermined part in a body of the user, which has been input from the user information input unit.
STANDING-UP ASSIST DEVICE
A standing-up assist device includes: a base portion; a shaft portion extending upward from the base portion, the shaft portion being expandable and contractible; and a support portion, provided at an upper end portion of the shaft portion, for supporting a body of a user, in which the shaft portion has a plurality of shaft members arranged in a front-rear direction.
Patient lift system
A patient lift system includes a motor and a drum. The drum is operably coupled to the motor. The drum can be selectively driven to rotate by the motor. A housing surrounds at least the motor and the drum. A load-bearing member is provided that includes a first end and a second end. The first end of the load-bearing member can be operably coupled to at least one of the housing and the drum. The second end of the load-bearing member can be operably coupled to a patient support assembly. An electrically conductive member can be positioned within the load-bearing member. A user interface is configured to actuate the patient support assembly in vertical and horizontal directions.
Automatic cleaning method and cleaning bed for patient of gatism
An automatic cleaning method and a cleaning bed for a patient of gatism are provided. The cleaning bed includes a bed body, a bed plate is arranged on the bed body and is provided with a through groove therein, a bed bottom plate is arranged on a lower part of the bed body, a lifting mechanism is arranged on the bed bottom plate and is provided with a soft cushion thereon, a fabric bracket is arranged under the bed plate and is provided with a material roller thereon, a pressing roller bracket is arranged under the bed plate and at one side close to the fabric bracket and is provided with provided with a first pressing roller and a second pressing roller.
Patient upright device
Devices for bringing a person that has fallen to the ground to an upright position comprise frames adapted to receive a person's body after a person has achieved a lying position, inflatable bladders attached to the frames on which the person's body rests when the bladders are in an uninflated state, the bladders being inflatable from a first position to a second position, and fittings attached to the inflatable bladders for receiving hoses to allow the inflatable bladders to be inflated from the first position to the second position.
Rotating bath lift
Disclosed is a bath lift with a rotating seat assembly to assist an individual with decreased mobility in and out of a bathtub. The rotating seat includes an assembly that can be raised or lowered using a DC powered linear actuator. The linear actuator will also move a backrest from an upright position to a reclined position. A controller includes logic to prevent operation should the batteries have insufficient power to raise the seat assembly. Slip resistant padding is comprised of medical-grade, closed cell, molded polyurethane padding that does not absorb water and reduces the risk of skin tears.
Rescue strap for carrying a patient
A rescue strap is provided with a plurality of strap loops that wraps around the torso of a patient and is fed through one of the strap loops to make a girth hitch around the patient's torso. The rescue strap then wraps around the patient's upper legs and through another strap loop making another girth hitch to lift from the hips.
PATIENT TRANSPORT APPARATUS WITH MOVABLE HEAD SECTION
A patient transport apparatus comprises support structure. The support structure comprises a base, a support frame, and a patient support deck. A headboard and a footboard are coupled to the support structure. The support frame comprises a head section and a body section, the body section coupled to the patient support deck. The patient support deck comprises a patient support surface capable of articulating relative to the support frame. The head section is movable relative to the body section to define first and second configurations of the support frame, the support frame having a first footprint in the first configuration and a second footprint, smaller than the first footprint, in the second configuration.
