MEDICAL BED HORIZONTAL DRIVING MECHANISM AND MEDICAL BED HORIZONTAL DRIVING SYSTEM, AND MEDICAL BED
A medical bed horizontal driving mechanism includes a bracket, a drum, an electric motor, and a position sensor. The bracket is configured to be fixedly connected to a bed frame of a medical bed. The drum is rotatably connected to the bracket. The drum is rotatable to drive a bed board of the medical bed to move relative to the bed frame. The electric motor is arranged in a cavity of the drum. A housing of the electric motor is fixedly connected to the bracket. An output shaft of the electric motor is connected to the drum to drive the drum to rotate relative to the bracket. The position sensor is arranged in the cavity of the drum. The position sensor can detect a rotational position of the drum and generate a position signal, which is used to control the electric motor.
Inflatable Coveralls Transforms into a Chair to Lift a Fallen Person
Inflatable coveralls provide individuals, who fall frequently, with protection and independence. The coveralls consist of pads on the shoulders and hips to reduce the impact of a fall on the person. When worn and located underneath the fallen person, the coveralls can be inflated with air into a chair, creating a higher platform from which the person can more easily get up. This reduces the dependence these individuals have on a caregiver. Users can fasten the coveralls using hook & loop or magnets, instead of buttons or zippers, because it is easier to wear and they automatically open from the increase in air pressure of the inflated coveralls. Made of lightweight and air-impermeable material, the inflatable coveralls pads the fall of individual and elevated the fallen individual so that they can more easily rise, allowing them to gain independence.
ELECTRIC LIFTING AND MOVING MACHINE
An electric lifting and moving machine, including a bearing assembly consisting of a seat board to bear a user; a supporting assembly having a chassis; an electric lifting assembly having a motor driving assembly and a lifting assembly in transmission connection with each other; the lifting assembly is arranged on the chassis; at least one connection rod connected to the lifting assembly and the bearing assembly so that the lifting assembly drives the bearing the bearing assembly to move upward or downward; at least one castor on a bottom part of the chassis; and at least one foot brake assembly arranged on the chassis corresponding to the castor; in a parked state, the foot brake assembly contacts the castor to prevent it from rotating.
PERSON SUPPORT SURFACES INCLUDING SET BY PREVIEW FUNCTION FOR CONTINUOUS LATERAL ROTATION THERAPY
A person support apparatus including a person support surface including an actuating device and a controller configured to operate the actuating device to perform a set by preview subroutine and a rotation preview subroutine, wherein, during the set by preview subroutine, the controller receives user input positioning the actuating device into a first preview position and sets the first preview position as a first evaluation position, and wherein, during the set by preview subroutine, the controller receives user input positioning the actuating device into a second preview position and sets the second preview position as a second evaluation position. In embodiments, the controller is configured to simultaneously perform a P&V subroutine during rotation of the person support surface.
Transfer Mattress
A patient transfer mattress includes elongate top and bottom sheets joined around their perimeter and by one or more baffles to define a cavity between the sheets. The patient transfer mattress also includes a valve in fluid communication with the cavity, and an outwards facing surface of the bottom sheet has a low friction material positioned at or adjacent to it. Methods of forming and using the patient transfer mattress are also disclosed.
DEVICES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING REMOTE SUPPORT TO A USER OF CARE COMPONENTS
Assistive control devices, provider assistance systems, systems incorporating the same, and methods for operating the same are disclosed. One system includes an assistive control device and audiovisual communications components communicatively coupled to the assistive control device. The audiovisual communications components are controllable to selectively capture image and audio within the care space and transmit audio. The system further includes subject care components communicatively coupled to the assistive control device. The one or more subject care components are operable locally and remotely. Upon initiation of a remote assistance session, the audiovisual communications components are operated via the assistive control device to move and capture images of a particular area of concern, provide two-way communications between the care space and the assistive control device, and provide indicia. The one or more subject care components are operated remotely and/or locally to complete one or more care tasks.
Autonomous hospital bed
Provided is an autonomous hospital bed including: a frame; wheels; motors to drive the wheels; a controller in communication with the motors; sensors; a processor; a tangible, non-transitory, machine readable medium storing instructions that when executed by the processor effectuate operations including: capturing, with the sensors, depth data indicating distances to objects within an environment of the hospital bed and directions of the distances; capturing, with the sensors, movement data indicating movement distance and direction of the hospital bed; generating, with the processor, a map of the environment using the depth and movement data; generating, with the processor, a movement path to a first location; instructing, with the processor, motor drivers of the wheels to move the hospital bed along the movement path; and, inferring, with the processor, a location of the hospital bed within the environment as the hospital bed navigates along the movement path.
Absorbent Repositioning Pad and Method
An absorbent repositioning pad includes an upper layer including a liquid permeable material, and a lower layer having relatively lower friction surface than the upper layer. The absorbent repositioning pad further includes a first intermediate layer between the upper and lower layers and including an absorbent material, and a second intermediate layer between the first intermediate layer and the lower layer and including a liquid impermeable material.
Portable patient turning device
A portable patient turning device is provided comprising an inflatable mattress cover having a planar surface configured to substantially cover the surface of a bed, and a control unit connected to the inflatable mattress cover by one or more air hoses. The inflatable mattress cover further comprises a first inflatable chamber proximate to and extending along a left edge of the planar surface, a second inflatable chamber proximate to and extending along a right edge of the planar surface, and a spine cushion positioned between the first inflatable chamber and the second inflatable chamber and extending along a middle portion of the planar surface for at least a portion of the length of the first inflatable chamber and second inflatable chamber.
