Tent-type mobile infectious disease clinic
The present disclosure relates to a tent-type mobile infectious disease clinic, and more particularly, to a mobile infectious disease clinic, which is a tent-type mobile infectious disease clinic that makes it possible to promptly install a large number of mobile infectious disease clinics due to having mobility and being easy to install and remove, that allows a test subject to be tested by a healthcare provider using an infectious disease test kit while the test subject is isolated in the tent-type mobile infectious disease clinic, the healthcare provider is outside the tent-type mobile infectious disease clinic, and exposure of the body parts is minimized, that performs sterilization of an infectious disease using an ultraviolet C (UV-C) lamp to reduce the time taken for disinfecting the clinic, and that allows the light radiation intensity of the UV-C lamp to be adaptively adjusted according to the body temperature of the test subject.
Portable and inflatable patient isolation chamber/stretcher system
A portable and inflatable patient isolation chamber and stretcher system having an exoskeletal frame, which when inflated, forms a substantially tent contour enclosure when coupled to an inflatable flexible base. The exoskeletal frame has an apex section formed by a flexible apex conduit which is coupled to and in fluid communication with first and second flexible end conduits. The inflatable flexible base is connected to the exoskeletal frame and is in fluid communication with the exoskeletal frame for providing a flexible platform for the patient. A transparent envelope is secured to the exoskeletal frame and inflatable flexible base for forming a patient isolation chamber. When deflated, the flexible base can serve as a stretcher for transport of the patient.
Testing System
A testing system collects a specimen from a subject and measures the collected specimen to test the specimen, and includes a first unit to collect and receive the specimen, a second unit to be connected to the first unit and to preprocess the specimen before measurement, a third unit to be connected to the second unit and to measure the preprocessed specimen, and a robot provided in at least one of the first unit, the second unit, or the third unit to process the specimen.
DISPOSABLE INFANT INCUBATOR AND DISPOSABLE CONTAINED MICROENVIRONMENT FOR STATIONARY OR TRANSPORT CASES
A neonatal infant incubator apparatus (10) and a control system module (17), and methods and systems for using the control system module to control the microenvironment of the contained space (16) of the infant incubator apparatus (10). The neonatal infant incubator apparatus (10) including a collapsible frame (12) and a disposable housing (14) to create a closed contained space (16) with a controlled microenvironment. The control system module (17) is comprises a battery (32) and is configured to operate with low voltage; the control system module (17) configured to control the microenvironment, including regulating the temperature and gas composition, of the contained space (16), and includes an air circulation system (72) in air and/or fluid communication with the contained space (16). The systems, apparatus and methods are suitable for containing a full-term or premature infant in need of care in areas where power sources are limited, including e.g., rural or remote regions, third world countries, in a regular clinical setting and/or for transportation of the infant.
Booth-type mobile infectious disease clinic
The present disclosure relates to a booth-type mobile infectious disease clinic, and more particularly, to a mobile infectious disease clinic, which is a booth-type mobile infectious disease clinic which makes it possible to assemble and disassemble a large number of mobile infectious disease clinics, that allows a test subject to be tested by a healthcare provider using an infectious disease test kit while exposure of the body parts is minimized and the healthcare provider and the test subject are isolated in the booth-type mobile infectious disease clinic, that performs sterilization of an infectious disease using an ultraviolet C (UV-C) lamp to reduce the time taken for disinfecting the clinic, and that allows the light radiation intensity of the UV-C lamp to be adaptively adjusted according to the body temperature of the test subject.
AIR TREATMENT
Devices, systems, and methods to treat an environment. The device includes a scent control material source. The device can also include a dehumidifier, humidifier, and one or more fans. The scent control material device is configured to output a scent control material (e.g., an oxidant) into the environment to reduce pathogens, dispose of scent molecules and their sources, and otherwise treat the environment. The device can include a controller communicatively coupled to the scent control material source, dehumidifier, humidifier, and one or more fans. The controller can implement operational programs dictating at least one output of the device. The device can also function in a cyclical or periodic mode in which an output of the device can be varied to more effectively treat the environment. In examples, the controller can operate in conjunction with a remote control to regulate output parameters of the device.
DISPOSABLE PATHOGEN CONTAINMENT DEVICE
A disposable pathogen containment device including a support frame structure. An enclosure made of a substantially air-tight flexible sheet material is mounted to the support frame structure. At least an access port is disposed in the enclosure with at least one of the at least an access port being adapted for enabling transmission of air into the enclosure. A suction structure is mounted to the enclosure. The suction structure comprises a suction connecting port adapted for being connected to a suction source and a suction conduit connected to the suction connecting port. The suction conduit comprises at least a suction opening for removing air from inside the enclosure. The at least a suction opening is placed such that air containing pathogen emitted from a pathogen emitting source disposed inside the enclosure is drawn away from the at least an access port.
PORTABLE COLLAPSIBLE AIR ISOLATION APPARATUS
A collapsible air isolation apparatus is disclosed. The apparatus may include a collapsible frame including a base and a set of rigid panel elements at least partially enclosing a volume of space, where the set of rigid panel elements is foldably hinged to at least one of the base or another of the rigid panel elements, and where at least one panel of the set of rigid panel elements comprises an open space for mounting a motor for moving air. The apparatus may include the motor for moving air configured to create a negative pressure within the volume of space of the collapsible frame.
RESPIRATORY ISOLATION ENCLOSURE FOR PATIENTS
Implementations of a respiratory isolation enclosure for patients comprise a side surface, an upper surface, and one or more access openings and ventilation openings, and in some implementations may further comprise a lower surface. In some implementations, a method of using the respiratory isolation enclosure for patients comprises positioning and enclosing a patient with an infectious disease in the respiratory enclosure to respiratorily isolate the patient and prevent the spread of the disease from the patient to healthcare providers or other persons.
Enclosure and method for prevention of health-care-associated infections from contaminated devices
A novel enclosure is used to prevent health-care-associated infections caused by contamination of devices such as cellular telephones, laptops, tablet computers, purses, and briefcases. Such a device is placed into the enclosure and is carried into a disinfected or clean environment, such as an operating room. The enclosure prevents infectious agents or other contaminants on the surface of the device from contaminating the clean environment. The enclosure also protects the environments outside the operating room from contaminants within the operating room. The enclosure is inexpensively manufactured and disposable. The enclosure may include an effective amount of antibacterial, antifungal, and/or antiviral compounds. The enclosure may be used in the residence of an individual with a compromised immune system. The enclosure may be used to bring a device into and out of a home or room of an individual who is extremely neat or is inflicted with an obsessive-compulsive disorder.
