METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR RELEASING GAS
An apparatus for releasing a gas into a liquid housed in a container has a gas assembly including a source of compressed gas; a float in fluid communication with the source of compressed gas; and a gas release member in fluid communication with the source of compressed gas and the float. The gas release member is adapted to release gas into the liquid. The float has variable buoyancy that causes the float and the gas release member to ascend and descend depending on the buoyancy of the float, the buoyancy of the float being reduced as the gas is released into the liquid.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR LIQUIDS AND GASES
Aspects of the present disclosure provide various apparatus and methods. In some embodiments, an apparatus is provided for mixing a gas with a liquid. The apparatus may include a pipe having two ends. The pipe may provide a main fluid path and may have an interior surface having a first groove. The apparatus may also include a helical vane disposed inside the pipe. The vane may have a first projecting tongue that engages the first groove. The apparatus may also include a gas injection port on the pipe adapted to inject gas into the fluid path upstream of the helical vane. In some embodiments, the helical vane may be a 3D printed component.
FLOATING POOL SANITIZER WITH LOCKING DEVICE
A floating chemical dispenser is disclosed that is configured to dispense a chemical into a body of water, such as pool water. The chemical dispenser includes a float attached to a container. The container contains a chemical composition, such as a chlorine source. The container also defines an aperture that allows water to enter the container at a controlled rate. When the dispenser is placed in a body of water, water enters the container and gradually dissolves and releases the chemical. An end cap is position on the container and rotates between a closed position and at least one chemical dispensing position. The end cap further includes a locking device that locks the end cap into a closed position to prevent inadvertent release of the chemical.
Agitation device for red wine production
An agitation device used in the production of red wine that breaks the cap during fermentation is provided. The device has a body, a depth sensor and a flotation device secured to the exterior of the body. Holes in the body enable the body to submerge into wine in a vessel below the surface. A control system is coupled to the agitator and inflates the inflation device to move the device to the surface of the wine to break through a fermentation cap formed on the surface of the wine.
Dispensers
A two-part dispensing device for a pool having a dispensing saddle with a static port therein for continual delivery of a first dispersant and a hold for floatingly supporting itself and an exchangeable dispensing pod therein with the dispensing pod having a dynamic port and a static port for a continual delivery of a dispersant wherein the static port delivery of a dispersant maintains the pool at a safe level when there is no human bather load on the pool and the condition of the disperant in the dispensing pod can be determined by the orientation of the dispensing saddle and the dispensing pod in the pool.
Floating manure agitator with multidirectional agitator nozzles
An aquatic floating manure agitator vessel including a plurality of remotely controlled above-surface agitator nozzles which are visibly positioned on the vessel and hydraulically movable about multiple axes to facilitate effective pond agitation and directional control of the floating agitator. The floating agitator includes a vertically adjustable hydraulic undercarriage and hitch mechanism to facilitate ease of maneuverability during launching and removal of the floating agitator, and for probing the pond bottom for excess sludge build-up. The floating agitator also includes hydraulically folding side wings or pontoons mounted on each side of the vessel to further enhance ease of maneuverability and storage of the vessel.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR TREATING POTABLE WATER IN MUNICIPAL AND SIMILAR WATER TANKS
Method and apparatus for treating potable water in municipal and similar tanks to reduce and remove undesirable disinfectant byproducts such as trihalomethanes from the water by providing a water circulation system to create circulation patterns in the tank water and an air flow system for creating an air flow pattern in the headspace region of the enclosed tank above the water surface. In operation, a portion of the tank water is drawn-up a draft tube from the tank floor to above the water surface and sprayed through a nozzle outwardly about a vertical axis and slightly downwardly toward the surface of remaining tank water. The air flow system creates and directs a high volume of air through the tank above the water surface to volatize undesirable trihalomethanes in the drawn-up water portion to gaseous state to enter the air flow pattern and exit the tank into ambient air.
FLOATING HORIZONTAL AERATOR FOR A BODY OF WATER
An aerator for adding oxygen to a body of water. A pair of tubes is mounted to a plate, in turn, connected to a pair of floats suspending the aerator in the body of water. A source of pressurized air directs air flow through the tubes forcing water flow into the tubes and out vertical risers whereat the oxygenated water then falls back onto the body of water.
Multi-stage dispensers
A multi-stage floatation dispenser for carrying a ballast, which may be a non-water consumable dispersant and at least one water consumable dispersant wherein the weight of the water consumable dispersant decreases as the water consumable dispersant is consumed with the weight of water consumable dispersant and the non-water consumable coordinated with the flotation capacity of a flotation dispenser to provide for either a two stage or a three stage dispensing mode.
