AN ARRANGEMENT FOR MIXING FLUIDS IN A CAPILLARY DRIVEN FLUIDIC SYSTEM
There is provided an arrangement (100) which allows for mixing a first fluid with a second fluid at a predetermined volume mixing ratio in a capillary driven fluidic system. The arrangement (100) allows filling an initially empty mixing chamber (110) with the first fluid. The arrangement then allows emptying a predetermined fraction of the first fluid from the mixing chamber (110) such as to form an empty space in the mixing chamber (110). The arrangement then allows filling the empty space of the mixing chamber (110) with the second fluid, thereby allowing a predetermined volume of the first fluid to mix with a predetermined volume of the second fluid over time.
Dust removal system for chimney of mixer
The present invention provides a dust removal system for a chimney of a mixer. The system includes a dust removal water tank and a first pipeline. One end of the first pipeline is communicated with an outlet of the chimney at a tail of the mixer, and the other end is inserted into the dust removal water tank. A water inlet and a water outlet are provided in the dust removal water tank. An exhaust port for discharging filtered gas is provided in an upper part of the dust removal water tank. The system does not need additional power, and is energy-saving and environmentally friendly. Water vapor discharged facilitates the sedimentation of dust particles in the mixer, thereby reducing loss of raw material mixture, making sintering quality more stable and solving a problem that gas discharged in prior arts contains more powder and pollutes the environment.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING SEALANT
A method for producing a sealant includes a weighing and mixing step, a kneading step, a stirring and defoaming step, and a filling step. In the weighing and mixing step, a main component and a curing agent are weighed and mixed together. In the kneading step, the mixture mixed in the weighing and mixing step is kneaded. In the stirring and defoaming step, the kneaded product kneaded in the kneading step is stirred and defoamed. In the filling step, the kneaded product defoamed in the stirring and defoaming step is filled into a container. In the stirring and defoaming step, the kneaded product is stirred under a condition wherein a stirring rotational speed at which the kneaded product is stirred and a stirring time for which the kneaded product is stirred are within a range from a product lower limit value to a product upper limit value.
SILICA DUST MITIGATION AND RECIRCULATION SYSTEM AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
The present disclosure includes embodiments of a recirculation system and methods for mitigating release of silica dust at a hydrocarbon well site. The embodiments of the recirculation system may include a blender hopper, one or more proppant silos, a footed hood, a conveyor, one or more amplifiers, one or more compressed air sources, one or more vacuum hoses, an augur, and a blender. In one or more embodiments, the methods of recirculating silica dust to mitigate the release of silica dust includes conveying sand proppant on a conveyor from the one or more proppant silos to a blender hopper, directing sand proppant from the conveyor into the blender hopper, supplying compressed air to one or more amplifiers, directing sand proppant from the blender hopper to a blender via an augur, and adjusting the extent of at least one of the two or more leg segments and the leg adjustment arrangement.
MIXER FOR SYNTHETIC QUARTZ
A mixer for synthetic quartz includes a mixing barrel (1), a power transmission system (2), a mixing system (3), and multiple material receiving receptacles (4). The power transmission system is provided above the mixing tank. The mixing system is provided inside the mixing tank. The power transmission system is used to drive the mixing system to move. An opening is arranged at each of two ends of the material receiving receptacle. The multiple material receiving receptacles (4) are arranged at a top portion of the mixing tank, and end portions of two adjacent material receiving receptacles are spaced apart from each other without contact there between. A resin experiences low flow resistance in the material receiving receptacle, and thus can fall smoothly without accumulating in the material receiving receptacle. Moreover, the material receiving receptacle can be cleaned easily.
BONE CEMENT MIXING AND DELIVERY SYSTEM WITH REDUCED FUME EXPOSURE
A system for bone cement includes a vial holder configured for receiving a vial and including a holding structure for maintaining the vial in the vial holder. The vial includes a monomer component for bone cement. A holder chamber is configured to receive and secure the vial holder. The vial holder is advanced toward a vial-breaking device for breaking the vial and releasing its contents into the holder chamber past the elastomeric seal. Once the vial holder is advanced further the elastomeric seal is deformed to form a seal and prevent fumes produced from escaping from the device.
Dust Shield Device
The present invention is a dust shield device that secures over a mixing pail. Powdery material, such as plaster, cement, grout or the like, is poured through the device, and mixed with water inside the pail. The device includes a mounting sleeve, a radial manifold housing and a funnel shaped lid. The manifold housing and lid form a radial pneumatic channel with a circumferentially disbursed air intake that generates a radially uniform airflow that draws in airborne dust that would otherwise escape to the surrounding air. The manifold is connected to a vacuum with an air filter, and generates a dust shield zone air intake zone above the device. The manifold lid forms a radial guard to prevent downward flows of material and water from entering the manifold, and forms a splash guard to retain upwardly projected splashes of material and water inside the pail.
Isolatable Automatic Drug Compounding System
A low-cost drug compounding system that can practically fit inside of a fume hood or the like is provided. The system can use a single pump operable in forward and reverse directions (or multiple pumps) to compound complex mixtures particularly including those requiring the creation of solutions from dry or powdered ingredients. A wireless link allows operation of the system remotely. In one embodiment, the system uses a disposable mixing tube set that can be discarded after mixing while still attached to the base ingredient containers used for the compounding thereby minimize the chance of personnel exposure.
RUBBER EXTRUDER AND SCREW FOR SAME
To provide a rubber extruder capable of efficiently removing volatile components in unvulcanized rubber without decreasing productivity of the unvulcanized rubber. The rubber extruder 1 is for extruding the unvulcanized rubber (G) while kneading. It includes a barrel 2 having an input port 5 for introducing the unvulcanized rubber (G) and a discharge port 6 for discharging the unvulcanized rubber (G), a screw 3, which is arranged in the barrel 2, for extruding the unvulcanized rubber (G), and a vent 4 for sucking out air in the barrel 2. The screw 3 has a dam portion 7 which locally controls an extrusion amount of the unvulcanized rubber (G), a first screw portion 8 defined between the input port 5 and the dam portion 7, and a second screw portion 9 defined between the dam portion 7 and the discharge port 6. An effective screw length (L1) of the first screw portion 8 is 50% or more of a total effective screw length (L) of the screw 3.
