The hinge member includes a first bracket and a second bracket that are hingedly joined to each other. The first bracket includes a first flange that is integrally formed and extending from the first bracket. The first brace is attached, between the first flange of the first bracket and a surface of a different structure, to the first hinge member.
Combination massage table with one or more resistance bands
A combination massage table with one or more resistance bands (combination table) is disclosed. This combination table may include: a massage table; the one or more resistance bands; and a means for attaching the one or more resistance bands to the massage table; such that a client using the combination table receives at least one improved health benefit as compared against massage therapy without any resistance band use. Methods for using the combination table are also disclosed. Such methods may include: preparing the combination table for use; preparing the client so the client is laying on top of the combination table; and massaging the client while the client at least intermittently engages the one or more resistance bands that are attached to the combination table; wherein this results in the at least one improved health benefit to the client.
BODYWEIGHT DECOMPRESSIION TABLE
Decompression table embodiments are described that provide body weight support distributed along the body by providing a lumbar support harness as well as separate foot and leg attachment elements, Other embodiments may either alone or in combination with body weight support elements may provide elements for placing the body in a pre-stretched configuration during decompression by curving the body support portion of the table and strategically adding controlled spacing from the cervical and lumbar areas to the table surface.
TREATMENT DEVICE WITH ADJUSTABLE SUPPORT CAPABILITIES
A treatment device (12) for supporting a user (10) during a therapeutic treatment includes a device body (216) and an actuator assembly (222). The device body (216) is configured to support the user (10) during the therapeutic treatment. The device body (216) includes a first body section (224) that supports at least a portion of the user (10) during the therapeutic treatment. The first body section (224) has (i) a rigid, section base (228), (ii) a first resilient layer (230A) that is positioned on top of the section base (228), the first resilient layer (230A) including a first support region (224F) and a second support region (224S), and (iii) a section cover (232) that covers the first resilient layer (230A), the section cover (232) being adapted to engage the user (10). The actuator assembly (222) is configured to selectively deform the second support region (224S) relative to the first support region (224F).
Concave angulated positioning device
An improved positioning device (the DEVICE) comprises a new and unique concave angulated device for at least one of, but not limited to, stretching, supporting, bracing, rehabilitating, positioning, massaging, kneading, scratching, or exercising a body of a user. The DEVICE's new concave angulated and more user friendly surface addresses the need for a more anatomically responsive body positioning DEVICE for achieving improved results relative to, among other things, the above uses. This DEVICE includes multiple embodiments, which also may comprise various possible configurations, that enable the DEVICE to also function as a fulcrum or lever and/or be capable of uniquely dispersing a load during the interaction between the user and the DEVICE.
The first body section (224) has (i) a rigid, section base (228). (ii) a first resilient layer (230A) that is positioned on top of the section base (228), the first resilient layer (230A) including a first support region (224F) and a second support region (224S), and (iii) a section cover (232) that covers the first resilient layer (230A), the section cover (232) being adapted to engage the user (10). The actuator assembly (222) is configured to selectively deform the second support region (224S) relative to the first support region (224F).
CRADLE FRAME AND STRUCTURE
Embodiments of cradle frames and cushions are described herein. A cradle frame includes a connection assembly, a support assembly, an adjustment assembly, and a gear assembly. The connection assembly is configured to couple the cradle frame to a structure. The support assembly includes two side sections, and a middle section that is curved downward and positioned substantially between the two side sections. The adjustment assembly is coupled to the support assembly for adjusting the positioning of the support assembly. The gear assembly is coupled to the adjustment assembly for controlling the positioning of the support assembly. A cushion has a contoured upper side, and one or more opening in the middle part of the cushion on the underside.
COMBINATION MASSAGE TABLE WITH ONE OR MORE RESISTANCE BANDS
A combination massage table with one or more resistance bands (hereinafter, a combination table) is disclosed. In some embodiments, the combination table may comprise: a massage table; the one or more resistance bands; and a means for attaching the one or more resistance bands to the massage table; such that a client using the combination table receives at least one improved health benefit as compared against massage therapy without any resistance band use. Furthermore, methods for using the combination table are disclosed. Such methods may comprise: preparing the combination table for use; preparing the client so the client is laying on top of an upper surface of the combination table; and massaging the client while the client at least intermittently engages one or more resistance bands that are attached to the combination table; wherein in the at least intermittent engagement of the one or more resistance bands while the client is being massaged results in the at least one improved health benefit to the client.
