Programmable multi-therapy inversion table
An inversion table that incorporates additional therapies, such as massage, traction, and heat. Therapeutic elements of the inversion table may be programmable, so that settings are cycled automatically through preprogrammed patterns. The table may have one or more back massage elements that travel along tracks in the table to massage different portions of the back, and similar neck massage elements that massage different portions of the neck. Traction actuators may apply traction forces to the head and the legs. One or more heating pads may apply heat to any portion of the body. Settings for the therapeutic elements may be controlled by a processor that may execute stored therapy programs, or may respond to user input from a controller or a smartphone.
Device for passive body mobilization
A passive body mobilization device having a base (10) having an engine (1) controlled by a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) (100), said base (10) having a moveable platform in the horizontal plane (20) positioned on linear guides (11) arranged on the base (10) moved by a frequency inverter and arranged between a first extreme area (30) for positioning the head, chest and abdomen and a second area at the opposite end (40) for positioning the lower limbs, allowing the hip height to be changed in relation to the rest of the body, providing stages that allow regions of the spine to be worked specifically, eliminating the paralysis of peripheral nerves, bringing blood pressure back to normal by stimulating the sympathetic nerve and peristalsis.
STRAP FOR INVERSION THERAPY TABLE
A strap for a table having a backrest with a first end and a second end. The strap has a first end and a second end, wherein the first end of the strap is connected to the first end of the table backrest and the second end of the strap is connected to the middle portion of the second end of the table backrest. The strap provides a safety measure in the event the user shifts or slips when using the table. When used on an inversion therapy table, the strap may also enable the user to relieve pressure applied to the ankles and lower legs during inversion therapy. The strap may further include a length adjuster to fit the size of each individual user as well as visual length markers to indicate the adjustment settings for the strap.
STRAP FOR INVERSION THERAPY TABLE
A strap for a table having a backrest with a first end and a second portion. The strap has a first end and a second end, wherein the first end of the strap is connected to the first end of the table backrest and the second end of the strap is connected to the second portion of the table backrest.
Chiropractic table
Chiropractic table that allows conservation of the natural curves of the spine of a patient using thereof, comprising a continuous curved surface having a concave section at its central portion on the convex side of said curved surface defining first and second convex sections, wherein the ends of the curved surface are in contact with the ends of a frame composed of a plurality of longitudinal straight bar pairs, parallel to each other and which are transversely joined by a plurality of main transverse bars to said longitudinal straight bars, wherein further the first convex section has a greater height then the second convex section with respect to the plane defined by the plurality of longitudinal straight bars and the plurality of main transverse bars.
Mattress cover and mattress assembly
A mattress cover for a mattress providing movement therapy to a patient. A patient support portion covers the upper surface of the mattress, and a bottom portion is coupled to the patient support portion. The mattress cover may substantially encase the mattress. An augmenting feature is associated with a peripheral portion with the augmenting feature adapted to move between a stored configuration, and a deployed configuration in response to increasing thickness of the mattress during the movement therapy. The augmenting feature may include concertinaed material, such as thermoformed plastic, and/or a fold of material coupled to the peripheral portion. The patient support portion and the bottom portion may at least partially overlap and be moveable relative to one another. The mattress cover may be included on a mattress overlay having a patient turning device, or on the mattress supported on a patient support apparatus.
COMPUTER CONTROLLED LASER THERAPY TREATMENT TABLE
A multi-function, adjustable chiropractic table comprises a body section fixed to a table frame. A cervical section is movably attached to the table frame and securable at a desired angle. The cervical section comprises a padded head support, forehead strap, and neck bolsters. The head support is slidably mounted in a tray and translatable therein using a scissors mechanism, for linear axial traction. Pivotally mounting the tray to the cervical section permits lateral traction. A four-bar linkage, including a base frame, permits raising/lowering of the table using an actuator activated by a foot triggered wave switch comprising proximity sensors. The body section comprises a chest, lumbar, and leg sections. The chest section is replaceable with a treatment nodule comprising hot and cold compresses, or a laser enhanced spinal decompression therapy apparatus comprising a laser driven by two linear actuators to emit light according to one or more treatment protocols.
CONCAVE ANGULATED POSITIONING DEVICE
A positioning device which includes a new and unique concave angulated device for at least one of, but not limited to, stretching, supporting, bracing, rehabilitating, positioning, massaging, kneading, scratching, or exercising a body of a user. The device's new concave angulated and more user friendly surface addresses the need for a more anatomically responsive body positioning device for achieving improved results relative to, among other things, the above uses. This device includes multiple embodiments, which also may comprise various possible configurations, that enable the device to also function as a fulcrum or lever and/or be capable of uniquely dispersing a load during the interaction between the user and the device.
ADJUSTABLE TABLE SYSTEM
A controller receives an input associated with adjusting a position of a moveable arm interface and generates a control signal based at least in part on the input. An arm interface actuator adjusts the position of the moveable arm interface, from a less extended position to a more extended position, based at least in part on the control signal. Prior to the adjustment, a targeted body part associated with a massage recipient, in a prone position on a massage platform with at least one arm in contact with the moveable arm interface in the less extended position, is inaccessible. After the adjustment, the targeted body part associated with the massage recipient, in the prone position on the massage platform with at least one arm in contact with the moveable arm interface in the more extended position, is accessible.
