A headrest assembly for supporting a head or face of a user of a treatment device includes a headrest and a filter assembly. The headrest is configured to support the head or face of the user. The filter assembly is coupled to the headrest. The filter assembly includes a filter connector that is selectively coupled to the headrest, and a filter body that extends in a generally downward direction away from the filter connector. The filter body can extend in a generally downward direction away from an inner edge or an outer edge of the filter connector. The filter body includes sides and a base that cooperate to define at least a portion of a filtering cavity that is configured to be positioned substantially directly below the head or face of the user when the head or face of the user is supported by the headrest.

A physical medicine table for treating a patient's spine that is capable of providing precise, repeatable, and effective traction force treatment to a patient in multiple dimensions to adjust an unhealthy spinal structure towards a normal, healthy structure. A device and method for preventing the spread of a communicable disease during a close proximity services session is provided. The method includes assembling a device to a face cradle of a massage table prior to the close proximity services session, wherein the device captures one or more respiratory droplets excreted by a client during the close proximity services session. The device includes a closed sidewall, an open sidewall, a top portion mechanically connected to the closed and to the open sidewall, wherein the top portion includes a securing means for securing the top portion to the face cradle and a bottom portion mechanically connected to the closed sidewall.

A cushion member that is secured to a massage table or massage chair and contains a video or virtual reality headset within a substantially central opening or cutout of the cushion member to allow an individual to view video, virtual reality scenes, or other text, graphics or indicia while receiving a massage. A retaining shelf can also be secured to the cushion member to provide support for the video or virtual reality headset.
