A single stage clarifier mixing assembly includes a housing having a circular sidewall and a center axis, a mixing section in the housing, a clarifier section overlying and axially aligned with the mixing section along the center axis within the housing, an inlet delivering an inlet stream to the mixing section and an agitator. The agitator is adapted for mixing the inlet stream in the mixing chamber.

Unit for Passive Transfer of CO2 from Flue Gas or Ambient Air
20210394131 · 2021-12-23 · ·

A passive gas exchange transfer apparatus for exchanging carbon dioxide from a flue gas to a water supply is disclosed. The apparatus includes several upper rods and several lower rods to hold a membrane in place. The membrane provides increased surface area for the gas and the water to meet. The upper rods may be the source of the water supply, and the lower rods may be the source of the gas. The upper rods may disperse the water onto one side of the membrane, and the lower rods may disperse the gas onto the other side. The two may therefore meet at the surface created by the membrane as gravity draws the water downward, and convection draws the gas upward.

SPARGE FOR A HIGH-PRESSURE VESSEL
20230311084 · 2023-10-05 · ·

A sparge for use in a high-pressure vessel operated at elevated temperatures and having high energy agitators for suspending mineral containing particles in a slurry. The sparge injects reagent fluids into the slurry to reduce reaction times and for controlling process parameters for extracting valuable minerals from the particles. The sparge has a vapor lock to inhibit the flow of particulate material and detritus material under low or no fluid flow situations which occur commonly in the operation of high pressure autoclaves. The sparge has a fluid flow path that increases in cross-sectional area in the direction of flow of reagent fluids so as to keep reagent fluids flowing at a velocity below a critical impingement velocity that can cause metal materials of the sparge to either wear rapidly, combust and in the worst case lead to loss of containment and violent and rapid depressurization of the high pressure vessel.

LIQUID MIXING DEVICE AND LIQUID MIXING METHOD

A liquid mixing device and a liquid mixing method are provided, which can suppress air from being mixed into liquids to generate air bubbles, and the structure is easy to clean, so that a high-quality mixed liquid can be obtained. The liquid mixing device is suitable for mixing multiple liquids and includes a stirring chamber; a supply portion, disposed on an inner surface of the stirring chamber to supply the liquids into the stirring chamber; a stirring component, disposed in the stirring chamber to stir the liquids supplied into the stirring chamber; and an opposing plate, disposed on the stirring component and disposed opposite to the supply portion.
