PHOTOCATALYTIC AIR TREATMENT
There is provided a photocatalytic reactor arranged to receive one or more airborne contaminants. The photocatalytic reactor includes a photo-catalyst for photocatalytic degradation of one or more of the contaminants disposed on a substrate, and a light-emitting diode circuit board comprising a circuit board with one or more first light-emitting diodes mounted to a first side of the circuit board and one or more second light-emitting diodes mounted to a second side of the circuit board. The substrate is arranged to be illuminated by both the one or more first light-emitting diodes and the one or more second light-emitting diodes in order to facilitate photocatalytic degradation.
High clarity low haze compositions
A first embodiment which is a bimodal polymer having a weight fraction of a lower molecular weight (LMW) component ranging from about 0.25 to about 0.45, a weight fraction of a higher molecular weight (HMW) component ranging from about 0.55 to about 0.75 and a density of from about 0.931 g/cc to about 0.955 g/cc which when tested in accordance with ASTM D1003 using a 1 mil test specimen displays a haze characterized by equation: % Haze=2145−2216*Fraction.sub.LMW−181*a molecular weight distribution of the LMW component (MWD.sub.LMW)−932*a molecular weight distribution of the HMW component (MWD.sub.HMW)+27*(Fraction.sub.LMW*MWD.sub.LMW)+1019*(Fraction.sub.LMW*MWD.sub.HMW)+73*(MWD.sub.LMW*MWD.sub.HMW) wherein fraction refers to the weight fraction of the component in the polymer as a whole.
ELECTRICALLY HEATED DEHYDROGENATION PROCESS
Systems and processes for dehydrogenating one or more alkanes using electrically heated dehydrogenation reactors. The source of electric energy or power can be a power grid, solar panel, windmill, hydropower, nuclear power, fuel cell, gas turbines, steam turbines, portable generator or the like. The systems and processes provided herein result in a simpler dehydrogenation process which is particularly beneficial at a small scale and at remote locations, including the well site.
Integrated reformer and syngas separator
A reformer assembly for a fuel cell includes a vortex tube receiving heated fuel mixed with steam. A catalyst coats the inner wall of the main tube of the vortex tube and a hydrogen-permeable tube is positioned in the middle of the main tube coaxially with the main tube.
