CARBON DIOXIDE ADSORPTION-DESORPTION DEVICE
According to one embodiment, a carbon dioxide adsorption-desorption device including an electrode that includes a porous composite is provided. The porous composite includes an electro-conductive component and a porous material on the electro-conductive component. The porous material has pores of an angstrom size or a nanometer size, and includes a moiety exhibiting redox activity according to electrical response.
MONOLITHIC ADSORBENT SHAPING METHOD AND APPLICATION
A preparation method of a granular adsorbent is provided, including the following: adding a pyrrole monomer to an acidic solution, and adding an oxidant as an initiator to allow a polymerization reaction of the pyrrole monomer to produce polypyrrole (PPy), where an adsorption material powder is added to a reaction system before, during, or immediately after the polymerization reaction, and a resulting mixture is thoroughly stirred; after the polymerization reaction is completed, filtering a resulting reaction system to obtain a filter cake, which is the granular adsorbent; or subjecting the resulting reaction system to centrifugal sedimentation to obtain the monolithic adsorbent. In the present disclosure, the pyrrole monomer is subjected to a polymerization reaction to generate PPy; before being tightly stacked, network structures of PPy wrap the adsorption material powder; and the granular adsorbent is formed through sedimentation and stacking.
MULTI-FUNCTIONAL HYBRID MATERIAL BASED ON NATURAL CLAYS FOR ENVIRONMENTAL RECOVERY AND BIO-REMEDIATION
A multi-functional hybrid material based on natural clays for environmental bio-remediation and recover), is disclosed. In particular, the invention discloses the design and development of appropriately functionalized nanohybrid materials starting from nanostructured clays and the subsequent study of the absorbent properties in relation to hydrocarbons, heavy metals, chemical pollutants, oils, particulate, and microplastics. These nanomaterials were prepared in order to remove the hydrocarbon pollutants (for example oil) and metal pollutants in natural matrices (marine environment), with potential applications in the field of environmental remediation.
NANONETS FOR REMOVAL OF CONTAMINANTS FROM AQUEOUS SOLUTIONS, KITS THEREFOR AND METHODS OF THEIR USE
Provided are nanonets comprising a) a surfactant aggregate having an average aggregate diameter; and b) a polymer having an average particle diameter which average particle diameter is the same or smaller than the average aggregate diameter, wherein the nanonet has a diameter larger than the average particle diameter. Also provided are kits therefor and methods for sequestering non-water moieties from aqueous solutions using nanonets.
Single-Step Synthesis of CHEmisorption Fiber Sorbents (CHEFS) for the Capture of CO2 and Removal of Water Contaminants
One or more embodiments relates to method for generating CHEFS having the steps of generating the CHEFS from a dope. One or more embodiments relates to a method for generating CHEFS having amine functional groups having the steps of generating a dope containing a BIAS with amine groups, at least one polymer, and at least one solvent; and forming CHEFS from the dope, wherein the generated CHEFS have no more than 30% amine loss compared to the BIAS.
ABSORBENT RESIN PARTICLES AND ABSORBENT
The present disclosure relates to water-absorbent resin particles in which a contact angle of 0.9% by mass saline at 25° C.±2° C. is 100 degrees or larger, and an absorbent material containing the water-absorbent resin particles.
WEARABLE DISINFECTING GLOVES
A wearable disinfecting device includes a skin-protective glove and a disinfecting material. The disinfecting material is attached to the external surface on the palm side of the skin-protective glove. The disinfecting material includes an absorbent material that is at least partially saturated with a disinfecting liquid. The skin-protective glove is chemically resistant to the disinfecting liquid. A protective film that covers the disinfecting material can be releasably attached to the external surface of the skin-protective glove.
Macromolecular compositions comprising indene-derivatives, preparation thereof, and use thereof
The present invention relates to a method for preparing a macromolecular composition comprising indene-derivatives. The invention also relates to the macromolecular compositions per se, and to methods of using the macromolecular compositions. The macromolecular compositions are useful for undergoing subsequent reactions with small molecules.
Synthesis and application of a nanomaterial for removal of patulin
The present disclosure belongs to the technical field of analytical chemistry, in particular to synthesis and application of a nanomaterial for removal of patulin (Pat). The present disclosure adopts 2-Oxin as a substitute template, AM as a functional monomer, and synthetic Fe.sub.3O4@SiO.sub.2@CS-GO magnetic nanoparticles as a carrier, for preparing a magnetic MIP specific for Pat adsorption by surface imprinting. The addition of Fe.sub.3O.sub.4 makes the finally prepared molecular imprinted adsorbent material magnetic, thereby facilitating separation of a material from a matrix, eliminating complicated operation steps such as filtration and centrifugation, and facilitating recovery of materials.
