MEDICAL VEHICLES, CT DEVICES, AND DRIVING METHOD
A vehicle includes a computed tomographic system (CT) including a CT gantry having an inner peripheral, and a subject window in a surface of the vehicle. The subject window is configured to be exposed to an exterior of the vehicle via a side face of the vehicle, such that the subject window is configured to enable a subject to enter or exit from the inner peripheral of the CT gantry in a body axis direction of the CT.
OBSTRUCTION DETECTION SYSTEM AND METHOD
Systems and methods for detecting a pinch event or obstruction to a movable component of a patient support. In some embodiments, the patient support apparatus may include a control system capable of controlling one or more actuator systems coupled to one or more movable components of the patient support apparatus. The control system may operate according to one or more modes of operation in controlling the actuator system to move a component from a first position to a second position. In one embodiment, the control system may receive sensor feedback indicative of one or more operating characteristics of an actuator system, and analyze the sensor feedback differently in one mode than in another. In one embodiment, the controller may receive sensor feedback indicative of both a speed of a component coupled to the movable component and a current of power supplied to an electric motor of the actuator system.
SYSTEM FOR MANAGING PATIENT SUPPORT APPARATUSES AND BED SORE RISKS
A caregiver assistance system is disclosed for helping caregivers manage the care of existing bed sores and/or reduce the risk of a patient developing bed sores. The system may also help the caregiver to perform rounding tasks and/or to reduce the likelihood of patient falls. The system comprises a server application in communication with the patient's bed and one or more mobile electronic devices (e.g. smart phones). The mobile devices receive individual assessments of a plurality of bed sore risk factors and forward them to the server. The server generates bed sore risk scores from the answers and forward them to an EMR server. The server may also determine one or more risk reduction steps, display them on the mobile electronic device, and/or forward them to the patients' beds for implementation thereon. Additional bed sore information may be captured and sent to the EMR.
SYSTEM, INCUBATOR, AND ILLUMINANCE ADJUSTING METHOD
A system having an acquirer configured to acquire physiological information of a subject; a determiner configured to determine whether the subject has stress or not based on the physiological information acquired by the acquirer; and a controller configured to adjust illuminance around the subject based on a result of the determination.
BATHING ROBOT DEVICE
The present invention relates to a bathing robot device which: can perform the bathing, washing, cleaning, drying, skin caring, disinfecting, or sterilizing of an object; can use technology such as electronic control, artificial intelligence, or IT to autonomously perform corresponding functions without depending on only manpower; and can interact/communicate with an external device. The bathing robot device performs functions of: in a state in which the object is fixed without moving at one position, cleaning or washing the object by spraying water and a cleaning agent to the object; sensing ending of the cleaning or the washing, and drying the object by blowing air; and then, if necessary, spraying a lotion, a medicine, etc. Further, the bathing robot also performs a function of washing and drying an external device such as an object transfer device or a bathing table.
Patient support apparatus with multi-sensor fusion
A patient support apparatus includes a plurality of primary sensors adapted to measure different parameters used in the control of the patient support apparatus. One or more suites of secondary sensors are added to the patient support apparatus to provide data about the primary sensors. The secondary sensors may be used to detect errors in the primary sensors, to modify outputs from the primary sensors, and/or to provide usage and/or diagnostic data about the use of the patient support apparatus. The suite(s) of secondary sensors may measure parameters that affect the outputs of one or more of the primary sensors. In some embodiments, the suite(s) of secondary sensors include one or more dormant sensors that are not used on the patient support apparatus until a code modification is received from one or more external sources instructing the control system of the patient support apparatus to begin using the dormant sensor(s).
Patient support apparatus with hydraulic oscillation dampening
A patient transport apparatus with a base, a litter comprising a support surface, and a lift mechanism to facilitate arranging the litter at different heights relative to the base between a plurality of lift configurations including a fully-retracted configuration and a fully-extended configuration. The lift mechanism includes an actuator including a cylinder, fluid reservoir, and a pump driven by a motor to direct hydraulic fluid from the fluid reservoir to the cylinder. A sensor outputs a signal indicative of a magnitude of pressure in the cylinder. A user interface with an input control is provided. A controller determines a target parameter for the motor and, in response to user engagement with the input control, drives the motor at the target parameter to effect movement of the litter relative to the base at a predetermined rate irrespective of a weight of a patient supported on the litter.
Systems and methods to upgrade a motorized mobile chair to a smart motorized mobile chair
An upgrade system upgrades a motorized mobile chair to a smart motorized mobile chair. The motorized mobile chair has a processing system comprising at least two processors. The upgrade system comprises a plurality of object detection sensors and at least one processing unit connected between at least a first one of the at least two processors of the processing system and at least a second one of the at least two processors of the processing system. The processing unit receives sensor data from at least one of the plurality of object detection sensors, receives at least one control signal transmitted from the first processor, the control signal comprising data, modifies or does not modify the data of the control signal based on at least the sensor data, and transmits the modified or not modified control signal, the transmitted control signal to be received by the second processor.
BED HAVING ROLLOVER IDENTIFYING FEATURE
A mattress has a first support portion configure to receive and support a first user and a second support portion configured to receive and support a second user. The first support portion and the second support portion are adjacent to each other such that the first user is capable of rolling over from the first support portion to the second support portion while sleeping on the first support portion. A sensor is configured to sense first pressure in the first support portion and sense second pressure in the second support portion. The sensor is further configured to transmit data of the first pressure and the second pressure. The controller is configured to receive the data and from the data of the first pressure and the second pressure, determine if the first user has rolled over from the first support portion to the second support portion.
PATIENT SUPPORT APPARATUS WITH RADIATION SENSOR
A radiation monitoring system includes a patient support apparatus. A radiation sensor assembly is operably coupled to the patient support apparatus. The radiation sensor assembly includes a radiation sensor and a first controller. The radiation sensor senses radiation data corresponding to a radiation dose received by a patient. A management system includes a second controller that stores a patient profile database. The second controller is communicatively coupled with the first controller. The first controller communicates the radiation data to the second controller for storage in the patient profile database to monitor the radiation dose received by the patient.
