PROCESS FOR REDUCING THE AMOUNT OF CARBON DISULPHIDE (CS 2) IN A HYDROCARBON FEED
The present disclosure relates to a process for reducing the amount of carbon disulphide (CS.sub.2) in a hydrocarbon feed containing C.sub.5-C.sub.8 fractions. The hydrocarbon feed is treated with an amine functionalized anion exchange resin (basic anion exchange resin) to obtain a mixture comprising a liquid fraction containing treated hydrocarbon and a solid mass containing an adduct of CS.sub.2 and the amine functionalized anion exchange resin. The so obtained liquid fraction containing the treated hydrocarbon is separated from the solid mass to obtain the hydrocarbon having CS.sub.2 content less than 2 ppm. The amine functionalized anion exchange resin can be regenerated from the solid mass.

ION-EXCHANGE SYSTEM FOR TREATING A FLUID AND AN ION CHROMATOGRAPHY METHOD THEREOF
A container for treating a fluid with an ion-exchange system is provided. The container includes a housing extending in an upright position between a bottom port and an opposed top port. The housing has an internal chamber. A bottom plate is disposed in the internal chamber above the bottom port and having a plurality of openings defined therethrough. The bottom plate divides the internal chamber between a main chamber and a bottom chamber. The bottom chamber is defined between the bottom plate and the bottom port. A plurality of diffusers extend from the bottom plate into the main chamber. Each one of the plurality of diffusers has a diffuser tube section projecting upwardly from the bottom plate and in fluid flow communication with the bottom chamber. The diffuser tube section has radial openings circumferentially distributed along a length thereof to radially discharge the fluid in the main chamber.

Filter and Metal Ion Removal Device
To provide a filter capable of efficiently removing metal ions in a treatment liquid, and capable of easily obtaining a solution having an extremely low metal ion content. A depth filter includes a porous molded article. The porous molded article is a sintered material of mixed powder or a swollen material of the sintered material. The mixed powder contains dried gel powder and thermoplastic resin powder. The dried gel powder contains an ion exchange resin including a sulfonic acid group, and a nitrogen-containing chelating resin.
EXOSOME PRODUCTION METHOD
The present invention aims to provide a method for preparing exosomes comprising: (i) a step for ultrafiltering a sample containing at least one exosome; and (ii) a step for subjecting the sample that can be obtained from step (i) to anion exchange column chromatography.
Polyiodide resin powder for use with medical devices
Disclosed is a system and method of treatment which provides a direct response to the treatment of pneumonia as related to infections using a powder comprising a polyiodide resin with broad spectrum bactericidal, fungicidal and virucidal properties. When the powder is applied directly to the lungs of a mammal an immediate contact kill of protozoa, bacteria, fungi and viruses that cause respiratory tract infections affecting the lungs of a mammal takes place. Also disclosed is an application of the polyiodide resin powder for use with personal protective equipment (PPE) including but not limited to face masks, face shields, and respirators.
