The activated particles have high microporosity and provide an improved and affordable approach to decontamination of water sources. The invention further includes preparation of such systems, including steps of hydrothermal dehydration, optional carbonization, and physical activation.

Removal of bacteria from drinking water via filtration

The present invention relates to a method for producing biocidal, porous particles of a cross-linked polymer, and to the porous particles that can be produced according to the method of the invention. The invention further relates to porous particles of an amino-group-containing polymer (polyamine) having a relatively low swelling factor. The porous particles according to the invention are used to remove biological contaminants from water and to bind metal-containing ions from solutions. The present invention further relates to a filter cartridge which contains the porous cross-linked polymer particles according to the invention.

Biological sample reaction box

A biological sample reaction vessel comprising a reagent storage portion and a push rod movable relative to the reagent storage portion is provided. The reagent storage portion comprises at least one reagent containing cavity, and the reagent containing cavity is sealed by a sealing element; and the push rod is connected to the sealing element, and the push rod is used for cooperation with an external device to separate the sealing element from the reagent storage portion. In reaction, the biological sample reaction vessel cooperates with a test cassette. By inserting the biological sample reaction vessel into the external device, the reagent in the reagent storage portion can be released rapidly.

Macromolecular compositions comprising indene-derivatives, preparation thereof, and use thereof

The present invention relates to a method for preparing a macromolecular composition comprising indene-derivatives. The invention also relates to the macromolecular compositions per se, and to methods of using the macromolecular compositions. The macromolecular compositions are useful for undergoing subsequent reactions with small molecules.

POLYMER MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME, GAS-ABSORBING MATERIAL, AND GAS RECOVERY DEVICE

The polymer material of the invention is an amine-containing polymer that contains a polymer of a monomer mixture consisting of a monofunctional monomer and more than 10 mol% and 30 mol% or less of a polyfunctional monomer, and exhibits a large reversible gas absorption amount though having a low water content. An efficient production method for the polymer material of the invention includes a polymer synthesis step of synthesizing a polymer by polymerizing monomers in a reaction mixture containing a monofunctional monomer, a polyfunctional monomer, a solvent and an initiator, and an amine infiltration step of infiltrating an amine-containing processing liquid into the polymer, wherein the total monomer concentration in the reaction mixture is 0.7 mol/L. or more, the proportion of the polyfunctional monomer among the monomers contained in the reaction mixture is 10 to 30 mol%. When the monofunctional monomer has an amino group, the amine infiltration step can be omitted.
