WEARABLE ASSISTIVE DEVICE
The present invention relates to a wearable assistive device.
Method and system for providing information to a user
A method for providing information to a user, preferably including: determining environmental information; determining a set of features based on the information; determining output parameters based on the features; and controlling a sensory output system to generate outputs based on the output parameters. A sensory output device, preferably including a plurality of sensory output actuators. A system for providing information to a user, preferably including one or more: sensory output devices, sensors, and computing systems.
STAIR STEP ASSISTING DEVICE AND METHOD
Disclosed embodiments include a stair step assisting device which aids a user, recovering from surgery or having an injury which prevents bearing weight on one foot or ankle, in climbing or descending a staircase. The stair step assisting device has a main body, a lower body and an upper body, which in some embodiments are adjustable relative to one another to accommodate heights of different users and/or different riser heights of different staircases. The device includes lower and upper tread interface surfaces which rest on treads of two adjacent steps, and lower and upper riser interface surfaces which are positioned against risers of two adjacent steps.
WALKING ASSISTANCE DEVICE
A walking assistance device includes: a belt-shaped lumbar region fixture wound around a lumbar region; a first elastic string-like member an upper part of which is fixed to the lumbar region fixture at a position of an anterior superior iliac spine and a lower part of which extends in an instep direction of a leg and is hooked to a toe region of a sole; and a second elastic string-like member an upper part of which is fixed to the lumbar region fixture above a position of an ischial tuberosity and a lower part of which extends in an ankle direction and is hooked to a heel region of the sole, wherein each of the first elastic string-like member and the second elastic string-like member is bifurcated near a knee of a leg, and the bifurcated parts of the first elastic string-like member and the second elastic string-like member are bound to each other at positions of an outer knee joint fissure gap and an inner knee joint fissure gap.
Semi-supervised intent recognition system and method
A computer implemented method of semi-supervised intent recognition for an exoskeleton system. In one aspect, the method includes, in response to a state transition intention input, changing the exoskeleton system from operating in a first mode with sensitivity to detecting state transitions at a first sensitivity level to operating in a second mode with sensitivity to detecting state transitions at a second sensitivity level that is more sensitive than the first sensitivity level; identifying a state transition while operating in the second mode and using the second sensitivity level; and facilitating the identified state transition by actuating the exoskeleton system.
TRACK AND LIFT REHABILITATION SYSTEMS AND RELATED METHODS
A system for physical rehabilitation is disclosed. The system comprises a plurality of motors configured to be coupled to a ceiling, and a plurality of cable portions. Each cable portion is connected at a first end to a motor, among the plurality of motors, and connected at a second end to a connector element for attaching to a patient. The system also comprises a controller in operative communication with the plurality of motors to move the connector element in relation to a staircase. The controller is configured to adjust one or both of position and speed of the connector element based on tracked kinematics of the patient as the patient moves along the staircase.
CONTROL METHOD FOR INTELLIGENT ROLLATOR, AND A CONTROL DEVICE, AN INTELLIGENT ROLLATOR, A CONTROLLER THEREOF
A control method for an intelligent rollator, and a control device, an intelligent rollator, a controller thereof. The intelligent rollator is configured with a vehicle body, a front wheel and rear wheels driven by a motor. The method includes the following steps: obtaining the moving speed of the intelligent rollator; obtaining the attitude of the intelligent rollator; and reducing the torque output of the motor, when the attitude indicates that the front end of the intelligent rollator is tilted upward, and the moving speed of the intelligent rollator is less than a first threshold. The intelligent rollator can determine whether it is necessary to enter an intelligent crossing-curb mode, in which the torque output of the motor is reduced, so as to prevent the vehicle body out of control due to the increase of torque caused by the too large speed when getting over curbs.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR RECOGNIZING GAIT TASK
Methods and apparatuses for recognizing a gait task, that may detect a gait pattern of a user based on sensed data, generate a gait feature of the gait pattern based on similarities between the gait pattern and similar gait data extracted from each of a plurality of databases, and estimate a gait task corresponding to the gait pattern by applying the gait feature to a desired learning model, may be provided.
MOVING BODY
In this moving body, a walking assist device (1) is provided with: a plurality of drive wheels (50) capable of rotating about a plurality of rotational axes (51) disposed on a circumference centered on the same axis line (C); and a huh case (60) for supporting the plurality of rotational axes (51) so as to be able to revolve around the axis line (C). A first motor (10) is connected to the plurality of drive wheels (50) in a power transmissible manner so as to allow the plurality of drive wheels (50) to rotate, and a second motor (20) is connected to the huh case (60) in a power transmissible manner so as to allow the plurality of drive wheels (50) to revolve.
Knee Stair Climber
The present invention provides an apparatus designed to assist users in ascending or descending stairs. The system preferably comprises an apparatus with a handle, a horizontal top surface, side walls, front and rear vertical surface, a plurality of horizontal bottom surfaces, and a vertical face between said horizontal bottom surfaces.
