MODULAR ROLLER KIT COMPRISING A WALKING AID KNEE ROLLER WHICH IS CONFIGURABLE FOR AT LEAST TWO MEDICAL APPLICATIONS, AND METHOD FOR CONFIGURING THE KNEE ROLLER AND USE
A wheeler kit includes a walking aid knee wheeler which supports a knee of a person having difficulty walking. The walking aid knee wheeler includes a chassis with a mounting interface and at least two wheel units which are pivotably mounted on the chassis in at least two axles. The wheeler kit further includes at least one module with a personal support which includes a knee support which is reversibly coupled in the mounting interface with the chassis, or at least one further module with a further personal support which includes a seat for at least one sitting position of the person. The at least one further module is reversibly coupled in the mounting interface with the chassis. The mounting interface is arranged further downward than a highest point of at least one of the at least two wheel units.
Assistant apparatus for degenerative joint
An assistant apparatus for degenerative joint includes an apparatus main body, a first leg-lifting mechanism, and a second leg-lifting mechanism. The apparatus main body has an upper section, a middle section, and a lower section. The middle section is connected between the upper section and the lower section. The upper end of the upper section is provided with a supporting member. The lower end of the lower section is provided with a carrying member. The upper section is bendable relative to the middle section, and the middle section is bendable relative to the lower section. The upper section, the middle section, the lower section, the first leg-lifting mechanism, and the second leg-lifting mechanism each include an elastic buffering mechanism for providing elastic buffering effects.
KNEE JOINT
A knee joint that is capable of widening a moveable range, and that has good energy efficiency and is small and lightweight is described. Also described is a knee joint that is of an active type, but comparatively inexpensive. A drive section moves a driven member. An elastic member is arranged between the driven member and a linear motion member. The linear motion member elastically moves in at least one direction, in accordance with movement of the driven member, by way of the elastic member. A crank mechanism can realize bending and extension of the knee joint by converting linear motion of the linear motion member to rotational motion.
ORTHOPEDIC DEVICE
An orthopedic system includes a base shell forming an opening over a dorsal aspect thereof and a dorsal shell contoured to generally correspond to the opening of the base shell. The base shell has a proximal member and a distal member connected to the proximal member, each has a semi-rigid shell configuration to protect and support a lower leg, an ankle, or a foot of a user when received in the orthopedic system. A flexible toe portion is attached to a distal terminal end area of the distal member and formed of a different material than the distal member. The flexible toe portion is arranged to terminate above an upper surface of the user's toes and to flex relative to the distal member and the toes so as to reduce the likelihood of pressure points on the toes from the distal member.
Deformable crutch
A deformable crutch, includes a hand-held part, a seat part and a support part which are rotatably connected in sequence, and further includes a locking device for locking a rotation angle between the hand-held part and the seat part, and a rotation angle between the seat part and the support part. Rollers (34) are provided at the bottom of the deformed stool. A motor for driving the rollers (34) can also be mounted to deform the deformable crutch into an electric scooter.
Cushioning body for a leg rest of a rollator walking aid
A cushioning body for a leg rest of a rollator walking aid is in the form of an elastic molded body and has an upper side, which, when the elastic molded body is attached to a support member of the leg rest of the walking aid and the walking aid is used by a person, faces a bent leg of the person, a lower side, and a depression disposed on the upper and/or lower side. The depression is configured as a recess or as an area in which the material of the molded body has a reduced density. In the depression, a protuberant part of the anterior surface of the knee and of the neighboring portion of the lower leg is received when a leg of a person is resting on the cushioning body, in particular when the bent leg is in contact with the upper side of the cushioning body.
LEG SUPPORT ACCESSORY FOR A MEDICAL SCOOTER
The present invention relates in general to leg support accessories for medical scooters, and more specifically, to a leg support accessory and method of use that elevates a compromised leg of a patient to reduce swelling and promote healing during recovery. One aspect of the leg support accessory includes a vertical member that is connected to an existing frame of a medical scooter. An elongated member may extend forward from the vertical member and include a U-shaped bracket which receives and secures a foot support. The foot support includes a closed lower end for receiving a foot and curves upwardly to contour to a heel and calf of the patient. The angle of the foot support may be adjusted for comfort. The leg support accessory is capable of being adjusted to be used for either the patient's right or left leg, depending on need. The vertical member may also be rotated to a desired position to allow easy entry and exit to and from the medical scooter while providing optimal comfort and support for the compromised leg of the patient during use.
Wearable sitting posture assisting device
A wearable sitting posture assisting device includes at least one leg unit featuring at least one knee joint and featuring at least one locking unit for the knee joint; includes at least one second leg unit featuring at least one second knee joint and featuring at least one second locking unit; and includes at least one actuation unit featuring at least one manually operable actuation element for mechanically controlling the locking unit and/or the second locking unit.
Adjustable slip resistant walking surface with cleats for removable attachment to a mobility aid
An attachment to a mobility aid, such as a walker, wheeled walker or rollator, or wheelchair that automatically positions a slip resistant surface under the foot of the user. Cleats or a cleat head with retractable cleats are attached to the slip resistant surface. The distance the slip resistant surface is from the mobility aid is adjustable to suit the user. A retractable slip resistant surface attachment is removably attached to sides of the mobility aid. A sliding channel bracket is slidably attached to an attachment panel permitting the sliding channel bracket to be adjusted longitudinally. A slip resist surface is moved freely back and forth with a retraction mechanism. Adjustable, secure footing is obtained on wet or slippery surfaces preventing falls.
