The present disclosure discloses an unpowered wearable walking assistance knee equipment with gait self-adaptivity comprising a left foot power output assembly, a right foot power output assembly, a left leg knee joint assistance execution assembly, a right leg knee joint assistance execution assembly and a driving force transmission device. The equipment of the present disclosure is based on lever principle and crank block structure principle and adopts an operation mode of combining ipsilateral parallel driving input and different sides cross driving input. The self-weight of the human body is utilized as a driving force during the walking process to enable the left foot power output assembly to provide the left leg knee joint assistance execution assembly with a pulling force for its stretching and to provide the right leg knee joint assistance execution assembly with a pulling force for its bending, and to enable the right foot power output assembly to provide the right leg knee joint assistance execution assembly with a pulling force for its stretching and to provide the left leg knee joint assistance execution assembly with a pulling force for its bending, so that a torque for assisting the stretching and bending of the left leg knee joint and the right leg knee joint is generated according to a gait cycle regularity during the walking process, and the goal of walking assistance is achieved.

A walker incorporates a folding frame with two (2) rear legs, a center frame, and a front base. At the distal end of each rear leg is a wheel and located at the bottom of the front base leg is a pair of wheels secured about an axle. A seat is removably attached to the frame and can also collapse. The walker also incorporates a voice-activation illumination, a pair of hand grips each disposed at the distal ends of the frame, a rear wheel locking mechanism, a mobile telephone charging port, and a plurality of incidental item holding devices.

Medical walker

A medical walker apparatus and a method for using the medical walker. Embodiments of the medical walker include a wheeled frame and a compromised limb gait system attached to the wheeled frame, where the compromised limb gait system is configured to guide a limb of a user through a simulated gait motion. In aspects, the medical walker gives an amputee patient mobility by providing a leg brace support for the compromised limb with a flexible connection to the walker that guides the compromised limb through a biomechanically proper walking motion, thus allowing the compromised limb to be exercised.

There is disclosed a mobility aid for use by a user having a lower body amputation site. The mobility aid includes a lower body exoskeleton (LBE). The LBE has a pelvic support structure and a first leg and a second leg. Each of the first and second legs are movably coupled to the pelvic support structure, wherein at least the first and second legs are selectively actuable to move the lower body exoskeleton relative to a surface on which the mobility aid is positioned. The LBE also includes a carrier selectively positionable with respect to the lower body exoskeleton and, which in use, supports the user at or about an amputation site; and a harness system configured to, when in use, secure the user to the lower body exoskeleton.

Neuromorphic controlled powered orthotic and prosthetic system

A neuromorphic controlled powered orthotic and prosthetic system and device including a custom or universal fit fixed-ankle orthosis, to stabilize or immobilize an injured lower limb or act as an ankle prosthesis, and an actuated or powered articulated false-foot connected to the fixed-ankle orthosis or the prosthesis to form an actuated articulated false-foot orthosis. Associated with or mounted on the actuated articulated false-foot, or in or on the body, are sensors for sensing the intent of the subject to move, and the movement range of the articulating false-foot or AAFO and an environmental perturbation. An actuator is used to drive the articulated false-foot orthosis. The system and device further include a controller having an electronic circuit with a biomimetic design based on knowledge of connectivity of neurons within the spinal cord of a primitive vertebrate. The system and device include an electronic circuit made from analog very large scale integrated components and discrete electronic components capable of autonomously generating cyclic voltage output. An integral power supply serves the portable controller and AAFO.

A walking assist device includes a vertical support with a proximal end and a distal end, the proximal end coupled to a seat for supporting a user's hip with the user's thigh in a generally horizontal position and a seat attachment member to secure the user's thigh to the seat. The distal end of the vertical support comprises a foot for transferring weight from the user's hip to the ground with the user's thigh in a generally horizontal position. An optional horizontal support extends from the vertical support between the proximal end and the distal end of the vertical support and includes a calf support member.

Walking roller assembly
12011411 · 2024-06-18 ·

A walking roller assembly includes a leg sling for receiving a patient's lower leg and pair of roller frames each attached to the leg sling. Each of the roller frames has a curved member which engages a support surface upon which the patient is walking. Thus, each of the roller frames inhibits the patient's lower leg from supporting the patient's body weight to facilitate a leg injury to heal. The curved member of each of the roller frames curves downwardly with respect to the leg sling thereby facilitating the leg sling to rock when the patient walks thereby simulating the patient's normal gait. A leg panel is pivotally attached to the pair of roller frames and the leg panel is oriented at an angle with the leg sling. In this way the leg panel can receive the patient's upper leg and orient the patient's leg in a bent position.
