INFRARED RAY EQUIPMENT FOR ROBOTIC REHABILITATION ON A TREADMILL, HAVING FLEXIBLE PELVIC ATTACHMENT
Rehabilitation device, comprising a motorized tapis roulant, a harness configured to support the weight of the patient; a plurality of infrared light sources, each one directed to light the muscles of a zone of the lower limbs of the patient; a motorized exoskeleton for lower limbs, configured such that it is fastened to the patient femur, tibia and foot and such that it guides his movements while walking in a combined manner with the movement of said tapis roulant; a user interface, arranged in a position visible for the user; a data processing and control unit, configured to control said motorized exoskeleton and said light sources, characterized in that said processing unit is configured to manage an intensity adjusting cycle of said light sources in a differentiated manner for each one of said sources, as a function of the movement cycle imposed by said exoskeleton to the lower limbs.
METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR BODY WEIGHT SUPPORT SYSTEM
A body weight support system includes a trolley, a powered conductor operatively coupled to a power supply, and a patient attachment mechanism. The trolley can include a drive system, a control system, and a patient support system. The drive system is movably coupled to a support rail. At least a portion of the control system is physically and electrically coupled to the powered conductor. The patient support mechanism is at least temporarily coupled to the patient attachment mechanism. The control system can control at least a portion of the patient support mechanism based at least in part on a force applied to the patient attachment mechanism.
Magnetic suspension system
A magnetic suspension system for a medical device is provided. The magnetic suspension system comprises a support structure having an area provided with a ferromagnetic characteristic, and a carriage comprising a magnet exerting a magnetic attraction force between the carriage and the support structure. The carriage comprises a friction reducing device and a drive device configured to drive a motion of the carriage upon the support structure in an arbitrary predetermined direction, the drive device being separate from the friction reducing device.
Rehabilitation support system, rehabilitation support method, and rehabilitation support program
A rehabilitation support system in which, when a trainee performs rehabilitation using a rehabilitation support apparatus, a training assistant who assists the trainee can give rehabilitation support while taking a motivation of the trainee into consideration is provided. A rehabilitation support system including a rehabilitation support apparatus includes an acquisition unit, an output unit, and a feedback unit. The acquisition unit acquires motivation information indicating a motivation for rehabilitation performed by a trainee using the rehabilitation support apparatus, the motivation information including at least line-of-sight information of the trainee. The output unit outputs a degree indicating the motivation of the trainee based on the motivation information acquired by the acquisition unit. The feedback unit feeds back the degree output from the output unit to the rehabilitation support apparatus.
External Structural Brace Apparatus
An external structural brace apparatus for supporting a user in a semi standing position on a surface includes first and second support extension beams that to attach to the surface, also included is a channel having a base with first and second legs, wherein the first and second legs extend in the same direction from opposing sides of the base, the first leg is affixed to the first support structure and the second leg is affixed to the second support structure, the channel can be lockably positioned along the first and second beams. In addition, a saddle seat with a midpoint extension portion, the saddle is attached between the first and second legs and positioned such that the midpoint extension extends opposite of the base, wherein operationally the user partially rests their buttocks on the saddle and leans their back against the base to assume a semi supported standing posture.
Upper and lower limb walking rehabilitation device
An upper and lower limbs walking rehabilitation device of the present invention includes a foot stepping part, and comprises: a lower frame part; a lower limb link unit provided between the foot stepping part and the lower frame part and providing a walking trajectory to the foot stepping part; an upper frame part detachably provided at the upper end of the lower frame part by means of a detachment part; an upper limb link unit provided at the upper frame part and implementing the movement of upper limbs; and an upper linking part for linking the upper limb link unit and the lower limb link unit.
Mobile upper extremity (UE) supports for use in railed environments
A patient aid assembly for a railed device having first and second associated rails in parallel relation, and an interconnecting member joining first and second mobile upper extremity support assemblies.
ASSISTED WALKING DEVICE
A stable walking apparatus can be used to allow the elderly, disabled, injured, or infirmed to move for day-to-day activities and exercise. The apparatus supports the individual at an upper body portion, such as under the arms of the user. This allows use of the arms and legs of the individual, such as better balance and move with the device, while also controlling aspects of the device. The support is height adjustable, and also includes a braking system to both slow down and stop the user-apparatus. The braking system can be used with limited extremity functionality for greater use of the apparatus by a wide range of individuals. Swiveling wheels provide for additional functionality to use the device for more purposes and in increased locations.
PHYSICAL THERAPY APPARATUS AND METHOD OF USE
An apparatus and method for physical therapy includes a base structure, a roller table positioned on the base structure including a plurality of free motion rollers, at least one motor and/or and at least one air compressor connected to the base structure, a plurality of powered rollers or a contact plate located within the base structure being in contact with the plurality of free motion rollers, at least one pneumatic block with a pneumatic piston connected to the at least one air compressor and being configured to raise and lower the power rollers and/or the contact plate, a load cell in communication with the apparatus being configured to measure and record a patient's response to the transition of the roller table and/or the contact plate, and a programmable logic controller.
Motion assistance apparatus
A motion assistance apparatus includes a force transmitting frame having a sliding space therein, the force transmitting frame configured to support a distal part of a user, a slider configured to slide in the sliding space, and a driving frame connected to the slider and configured to slide with respect to a proximal part of the user.
