SAMPLE COLLECTION DEVICE WITH REAGENT
A fluid collection system comprises a sealed reagent container that fits inside a sample container and is unsealed by disengaging a seal comprised in a sample container. The sealed reagent container contains a reagent, such as a nucleic acid preservative. The reagent container also includes a sleeve disposed opposite the sealed opening. The sleeve includes a distal opening for receiving a sample and a proximal opening disposed in the sample container for guiding a sample from the distal opening and through the proximal opening into the sample container. Disengaging the seal releases the reagent into the sample container with the sample, where they mix.
GENOME EXTRACTION DEVICE INCLUDING FLOW COVER
Provided is a genome extraction device including a flow cover, more particularly a genome extraction device which includes a base plate, thereby forming a closed flow path inside and preventing a problem of narrowing of the flow path according to close contact coupling between components.
GENOME EXTRACTION DEVICE OF DUAL CHAMBER STRUCTURE IN WHICH OUTER CHAMBER AND INNER CHAMBER ARE COMBINED WITH EACH OTHER
Provided is a genome extraction device to which a dual chamber structure of an outer chamber and an inner chamber is applied, more particularly a genome extraction device to which the above-described dual chamber structure is applied so that the genome extraction device can be stored stably for a long time without the risk of reagent leakage.
AMPLIFICATION MODULE WITH GAS MOVING PASSAGE AND EXTRACT MOVING PASSAGE
Provided is an amplification module with a gas moving passage and an extract moving passage, more particularly an amplification module in which, when an extract is input from a genome extraction device in which the amplification module is installed, a quantitative amount of the extract is input to each accommodating portion so that the accuracy of detection can be increased.
Cellular component concentrator and filter apparatus and method of use thereof
The present disclosure describes a disc-like apparatus and method of its use allowing for the one-step concentration and separation of therapeutic factors found in mammalian body fluid.
Cartridge
[Problem] To ensure that a fluid is prevented from overflowing from a well and exposing the user to a biohazard. [Solution] A cartridge for use in measuring a component to be measured contained in a fluid includes a recessed well, formed for storing the fluid, the well including: a lower barrel portion that defines a lower space having a closed bottom; and an upper barrel portion that is formed above the lower barrel portion and defines an upper space having an opening on the top end, wherein a step portion is formed between the lower barrel portion and the upper barrel portion, the step portion being formed on an inner wall surface of the well and defining a step that continuously connects the inner wall surface of the lower barrel portion and the inner wall surface of the upper barrel portion.
Immuno histo chemistry tissue processing system
A tissue processing system for processing a laboratory slide includes a slide holder for holding the slide, an outlet port positioned to direct a fluid stream onto the slide, and a device for moving the slide holder relative to the outlet port, or vice versa, to adjust a point on the slide at which the fluid stream is delivered onto the laboratory slide. The slide holder includes an absorbent pad configured to be positioned between one wall of the plurality of walls and a free edge of the slide for absorbing fluid travelling along the slide. A manifold of the system includes a first outlet port that directs a first fluid stream from a first fluid passageway onto the slide, and a second outlet port that directs a second fluid stream from a second fluid passageway onto a location of the slide that differs from the first fluid stream.
FLUID HANDLING DEVICE
This invention addresses the problem of providing a fluid handling device that can be reliably and easily connected to various devices, can supply a desired fluid to various devices, and can receive fluid from various devices. The fluid handling device that addresses this problem comprises: a first device having a flow path for allowing a fluid to flow therethrough and an opening for connecting the flow path and the outside; and a tube having a first end that is inserted into the opening. The first device further comprises a support part that fixes the tube such that the central axis of a second end of the tube is at an angle in relation to the central axis of the first end of the tube.
Automated immunoassay device and method using large magnetic particle complex
The present invention relates to an immunoassay apparatus and a method thereof. The immunoassay apparatus including a cartridge 13 in which a tube for T tip 9, a reaction tube 11, a tube for washing 3, and a tube for signal measurement 5 are integrally coupled or individually configured; a T tip 7 and a magnetic rod 31 used for performing reaction and washing processes while moving large magnetic particles m, capture materials, signal materials, and analyte materials with magnetic force by entering successively a plurality of tubes 3 and 5; a cartridge holder 15 in which the cartridge 13 is seated; and a heating member 17 that generates heat by being disposed at a region in which the reaction tube 11 is seated in the cartridge holder 15; is configured in a state where each of the different shapes of magnetic particles is bound with materials.
Device for sample analysis
A device for analysing a sample comprising a nucleic acid to be captured and detected using a test strip are described. The device comprises a resilient biasing member disposed in an analysis chamber containing the test strip. The resilient biasing member exerts a force against the test strip sufficient to urge it into the sample chamber when it is in communication with the analysis chamber. This ensures that the test strip is reliably introduced into the sample chamber when it is in communication with the analysis chamber. In one embodiment, the sample chamber comprises guide members for guiding the test strip into the sample chamber. A free end of each guide member is shaped to prevent significant rotation of the test strip, so that the test strip is in correct alignment in the sample chamber for automatic reading of the test result, for example by a camera or optical reader.
